For being right next to the lake and a small path, this park is truly beautiful. Great place to walk and kill about 20 minutes while admiring the insane lake front

Beautiful spot to catch your breath and get away to enjoy nature for a bit. The bluff is closed due to a large amount of erosion but you can still follow the trail to an overlook and have an amazing view of Lake Michigan. Previously a homestead in the past, there's a lot of cool plants here including some giant rhododendrons.

We Loved This little stop on our adventure. The view is magnificent and quite calming. Couldn't get down to the beach but still a nice little path to walk.

Nice trail, very short and still no beach access, and there probably won't be for some time with the current erosion issue, but it is kind of cool to see the remnants of the erosion.

Small little tral to the lake. We got to fund somebody the plants listed on the sign such a rhododendron. The waves washed up the access to the lake but it was still a nice walk with great views.

You have to walk down 100 stairs to get to it, and the beach area is teeny tiny, but it doesn't have a lot of people, so that was nice. Very sedate.

We stopped here on a no-freeway road trip to stretch our legs. What a nice surprise. Parking is easy. There are nice trails through shady trails, and a great view of the lake. It's also clean and well-maintained.

Nice easy walk and a nice bench to sit on to watch the water for a bit. Enjoyed my time here. Highly recommend. Bring bug repellant tho and check for ticks after.

Beautiful setting to take a nature walk. Beautiful views of the lake at a bench and or at a picnic table.

This is an extremely small Nature preserve and really more of an over exaggeration of what is a roadside park. To be fair there is an area for viewing wildlife which was great for seeing birds and butterflies but it's hardly a preserve even for the most liberal of definitions. Regardless I really enjoyed every moment I was here and it's an awesome spot to stop if you want to head down to Lake Michigan for some R & R. Signs states that park closes 1/2hr after sunset. The park is very clean and has a paved circular trail(about a 1/4 mile long total). Also it appears that the park is expanding the trails to extend around the so called "preserve" but that's an assumption and not fact. To access the beach you must go down a long set of steep stairs. The beach is absolutely beautiful and is very well kept. While on the beach I found a bunch of Petoskey stones one of which was very large. They may have stretched the meaning of what a "preserve" is but that's the only questionable thing about this park. If your nearby then you must stop and visit, you won't regret it. Enjoy!!

Awesome views...nice flat even paced path. There is a staircase that leads down to the beach...there are alot of stairs but it's worth it!! Have come here a few times and almost always see animals of all sorts. Bathrooms are also clean.

Nice short trail with a view off of a bluff on Lake Michigan. No way down to the beach at this time, but a nice view.
