Rainstorm Car Wash

A couple of years back I went to rain storm when they first took over from the $3 Car Wash. First thing they did was raise the prices considerably and take away you buy the top tier car wash you would get a ticket for another car wash it could be the same car you're driving a couple of days from now or it could be wife's car or etc etc. Circle K has now bought these guys out. For the last month they've been giving away free car wash certificates so you get free car wash at the rain storm. I have gone there a couple of times now and found out that the car wash is well staffed, and complete when you're doing a wash. You don't miss out on wax and other stuff when you've paid for it. I'm giving these guys a good review at this time let's hope they keep up on this.

I always see workers doing their jobs....if my vacuum doesn't work they are right their. I never have a problem when I come to clean my car. Wish I could own 1 just like it!!!! I would refer anyone to Rainstorm Car Wash....

The staff are friendly and the vacuums are free. It's a very convenient place to stop and clean out the interior of your vehicle. The prices of the car washes are very reasonable and the quality is good for an automatic wash.

Its a nice place to wash your car, plus can vacuum for free... Now far as our current situation(corona) ...

Great wash, fair prices, only disappointment was Fast Pass lane closed, hopefully they get it reopened. Quick in quick out though. Highly recommend monthly fast pass package as it's the best deal. Staff always very nice and professional.

I visit both car washes , state and Riverside in Rockford . The one on State street since the manager took over is the cleanest and well run I have ever seen. The other on Riverside sometimes has staffing issues and the one on state , has employees who are very customer friendly and keeps the place extremely clean !! Vacuums are always well maintained also !!

Love this place. Fast service, easy checkout, powerful vacuums. This place is always busy, but they have a great flow for the car wash line and crank em out! Vacuums are provided at no cost, just make sure to get as close to the pumps in the dumpster enclosure as this will get you powerful suction.

Recently had my car washed at Rainstorm, and I was VERY PLEASED. It was immediately evident the carwash is under new
& very good management. New manager Kris was personable, helpful, and present to answer questions and assist. His staff were also a plus. For the 1st time in nearly a year, vacuums worked. Very nice environment. I will definitely return. Kris, the new manager and his team are doing a FANTASTIC job. Glad this company made a positive management change and are doing the proper maintenance to keep the facility functioning. Thanks

Very good car wash facility!! if you use the code from your receipt you get two washes for the price of wine. I definitely recommend using this car wash and washes your vehicle very well and the facility has great vacuum places to get all the dirt and stuff off your floor mats.

Wow, really impressed with this car wash! So big, clean, efficient, and we'll priced. Especially consider it has free vacuums and mat cleaners. But the best part was the attendant on duty. It was the first time I was there and I had trouble getting the machine to take my money. He noticed I was having a problem and helped me. As I exited the wash I noticed I still had some spots of bird droppings on the hood. The attendant was close by and I showed him. He immediately spot cleaned it by hand and then send me thru the wash again for free! Excellent customer service!!! And they were very busy at the time! Wish I had gotten his name.

Watch for deals, I got a "Buy2Get2" and the code is good for 6 months. Usually not super busy, courtesy vacuuming stations available. Easy Exit to the East on State Street.

I have been going to Extreme clean since they opened. I love it, I always get the $15 wash so I can get one free within 5 days. The best part is if I am not able to go within the 5 days I can send the code to my husband or sisters so they can enjoy a free wash. The attendants there are always helpful and will remind me about my antenna topper before I go into the wash. No scratches and I get a quality wash without having strangers in my car or scratching it up.

Rainstorm car wash has been inconsistent in signage (over the last year), bug wash availability, vacuum usage and customer service. I’ve avoided updating my pass with my new vehicle due to this. Not too long ago (within the month) I commented on how things have become more transparent and clean. Kris seems to be the reason behind the improvements and his efforts are much appreciated.

Car was clean. You get a free extra car wash within 5 days if getting the 15 dollar wash. Good for winter months. Machine wash, didn't notice any scratches. Typically I go to hand car wash but my car was a mess and needed it clean quickly

I always get the $15.00 wash so I can come back for the free wash. The tire shine machine inside the wash does a better job shining the tires than the actual people down the road at what used to be Octopus Car Wash. Love the free vacuums although I don't use them that often. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Won't go anywhere else unless I was the car myself.

Kris the manager was awesome. Thought I had some tar from the car wash but he explained to me what it was and how I got it. He was very professional and helped me with getting the tar off my car as well as put me through for another wash.. I see why I pass 3 car washes to get to this one. Thanks Kris

Loved it. Only thing is they need fencing along the hill line where cars drive towards then turn to go through the car wash. I can see a car have no breaks then slide through trees, down the hill.

Works great if customers keep their automobile in neutral and foot off the brake.

My vacuum jammed and the guy was right there and saw me in distress and came over and got all the stuff out. I wasn't sure if they could reciece tips but I wanted to give him one I just kept it to myself though. I have never seen a car wash so packed but runs quickly and smoothly.
