Definitely one of the best coffee shops in the United States among all I’ve ever been to! Beautiful setup, reasonable prices, experienced baristas and quality coffee beans. This hidden gem serves better coffee than most fancy sophisticated places in big cities!

I was pleased to see that baristas here don’t rush the preparation process, even when there’s a line. Trust me, a little wait is well worth the outcome!

These guys are amazing. The baristas remember your usual orders and always greet you with a genuine smile. They roast their own coffee and it tastes great.

Excellent 3rd wave coffee shop offering freshly roasted coffee, roasted in their own roasting facility. Offering of course the standard cafe items, but Also an ever changing seasonal menu of specialty drinks. A multitude of non-dairy options. These folks understand coffee and it's place on a local and global scale.

We went here for the first time and it was great! Friendly staff, nice ambiance, and super smooth and tasty espresso. We tried two seasonal drinks: the fall + oats and the blood moon- both were delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are in Rockford.

Hands down the best coffee in Rockford. The employees are wonderful, baked goods are fantastic, food is awesome (the curry empanada is to die for), and that coffee is so good!

My wife and I have been coming here two to four times a week since we moved to Rockford and we haven't had a single negative experience.

Came here for a "Living Room tour" by Bad Bad Hats, an Indie Rock duo from Minneapolis. We had the Loaf Cake, a 12oz Drip, a BREAKFAST EMPANADA, a SEASONAL SHRUB w/Extra Double Shot of Espresso, and 2 Single Scoop of excellent ice creme. Too much bread in the empanada, but otherwise great.
The place was packed, and Bad Bad Hats put on a super, personal, show. I had always seen them as a full band, so this was special. Thank you Rockford Roasting Company for hosting this!

Cool vibe, good coffee. Pour over coffee, fresh beans, lattes, fun seasonal drinks, and ice cream. I got an espresso mocktail and it was fun.

The Rockford Roasting Company team that was working at the Anderson Japanese Gardens tonight did a fabulous job! The line was long in the pavilion, but the team stayed friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our hot cocoa as we walked the gardens.
Just a few thoughts…
➡ The fine print on the menu is difficult to read while standing in line.
➡We did not know that Peppermint Cocoa was an option (not on the menu)
Overall, everything was enjoyable (the heated pavilion was a nice bonus!)💜

Popped in here while visiting Rockford for a work trip and really enjoyed it! Had a very tasty latte and a pistachio donut that was rich in flavor, but still felt light to eat. If I ever find myself in Rockford again, I'll definitely be back!

Visited their new and now only location for the first time. The atmosphere was great as usual. There's a lot more seating options than their previous location as well as a larger menu.

Their believe on quality, love, and creativity for coffee is clear from their coffee sourcing, roasting care, and careful brewing techniques and varieties. We've tried numerous mom and pop coffee places around the Forest City for our visits. Save your time, and money. Rockford Roasters is your best bet! Great java!

A gem in downtown Rockford! The Chai is my favorite- it's all about the foam baby! The baristas behind the counter know their stuff! The smell and the coffee house playlist will have you at the door, the Chai will send you to the moon. The upper level seating is flooded with warm sunlight from many windows, table and chairs, and some perimeter bench seating (my favorite place on a Sunday morning). Local artist's are able to display their artwork here also. Love Rockford Roasting Company. ♥

This place is a great place to meet people. I had a mocha for the first time and it was really good. Usually mochas are supper sweet, but I loved the blend of cream and coffee. Also, the upstairs is fantastic to take photos. Best time is to purchase coffee in the early morning and enjoy some before your model gets there. There are also various artist works for sale on the walls so check those out as well!

The absolute best coffee in the entire city of Rockford, IL is at Rockford Roasting Co. in the new Embassy Suites hotel by the river.

If you are dairy free and enjoy sweet drinks, I strongly recommend their Miel Lassi - creamy latte with honey, plant-based lentil heavy cream, coconut yogurt, espresso, cinnamon, & salt.

If you enjoy lighter roasts, I strongly recommend swapping out the regular espresso for their single origin washed Peruvian espresso with Typica & Bourbon varietals from Calca, Peru.

If you’re looking for a dessert, the Double Scoop Affogato is also popular. They have a wide variety of Dairyhaus flavors in the case that you can choose from, and we went with scoops of the vanilla & chocolate. This is absolutely delicious with their single origin espresso.

The baristas are very friendly, and they are part of the reason why you’ll want to return every day.
