Very good food. Service was great. For being a pretty busy place, with multiple events also happening, it was not overly noisy and food & drinks were served in a timely manner. We tried the beer flight paired with girl scout cookies. Interesting idea and the beers were good. I didn't really note the described taste experience as expected, but honestly I've been having trouble with sense of smell since last year so it might also effect my tastebuds too.
I did taste the drunken Cuban melt just fine and it was big enough that my girlfriend and I each ate half. We also shared the cheese curds, which were also delicious, with a slightly spicy dipping sauce on the side. Very generous portions for those as well. It's a very nice, historical building also, with a nice dockside outdoor space to hang out. I noted there are boat slips and a stage, however, being (an unseasonably warm) February there wasn't any action there just yet.
We will definitely be back again to try some other beers and food, and maybe hear/see some live music too.

Excellent burgers! We had the Rockford Burger - habanero pepper jack, avocado bacon, lettuce & tomato. Buns were fresh too! Sweet potato fries- excellent and wedge fries - good. Cheese curds - outstanding. And we have leftovers!!!!

Super good happy hour deals. Great beer, the korean tacos or super solid, and the cheese curds are absolutely out of this world. The Irish egg rolls were kinda meh though, but everything else was so good I’m not going to knock them for it. Only real downside I experienced was service was a bit on the slow side, wasn’t in a time crunch so no issue.

While visiting Rockford, my Daughter brought me to Prairie Street Brewing for dinner. For an appetizer, I had the Irish Egg Rolls. For our entrées, I had the Drunken Cuban Melt. My Daughter had the Grilled Shrimp Tacos. For a beverage I had the house made Root Beer. Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. Our lovely server was Grace. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took care of our every need. Looking forward to dining here again.

Loved our experience and food! The vegan gyro was very tasty! Loved the BBQ pulled pork and my friend said her Reuben was outstanding! The sweet potato fries were hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with just the perfect amount of salt

This brewery has numerous local draft beers to select from. The dockside seating right by the river is a great spot to hang out on a warm or cool afternoon/evening. Several appetizers on the menu as well as food options. Plenty of seating indoors as well. When seated by the dockside, there is no service, so you need to get your own drinks/food from inside when seated in this area, otherwise, this brewery is definitely worth visiting.

This place definitely lives up to the hype. From the delicious food (the smash burger is top tier), to the friendly service, to (the best part of all) the awesome patio on the riverfront, eating here is a vibe. Can't wait to make this place a regular spot for myself, friends, and family.

Located in the heart of Rockford, Prairie Street Brewing is a phenomenal venue for a wedding.

I was privileged to be hired to shoot a wedding there in October, 2023. Top to bottom, PSB delivers. From the ambience in each area, to prompt and attentive staff, and all parts in-between, PSB is a no-brainer for holding your wedding.

You can't go wrong with:

- A ceremony location nestled right beside the river;
- A main room for your reception that adapts to either a laid back and chilled vibe for dinner, to energetic and wild for your dancing shenanigans;
- Other parts of the building that offer great photo options for memories you'll cherish for your lifetime;
- And a staff that stays on top of things like clockwork, working hard to ensure your wedding is running smoothly and efficiently.

There's much more. But to truly appreciate it, you need to go in person and meet with their staff. You'll be impressed.

The ladies at the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens recommended Prairie Street Brewing Co and I am so glad we took their advice. Wonderful ambiance, delicious food, and pleasant service! My daughter ordered the BBQ chicken salad which was so huge, it could probably feed 3 people. She absolutely loved it! I ordered the Rockford Quesadillas without the bacon and they were delicious as well. The two us us also enjoyed their homemade rootbeer, which tasted similar to "Not Your Dad's Rootbeer". Would definitely return!

Just a heads up that a service fee was added to the bill, with no explanation what it was for. This was not a credit card fee as it was there before I handed her the card.

Great location, right on the river. The beer was awesome and the food was good too. Cheese curds for the win! It was a huge place with lots of seating inside and outside. There is even an arcade. You can actually rent an apartment upstairs!

Great atmosphere, great food, awesome friendly service! I had the Rockford Burger and some Rocktown Brown. The waitress was very accommodating in helping us pick a draft. We went through a few samples and made our choices. Great view of the river. Would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Our server Meghan was fantastic! She checked in on us and our kiddos regularly which we appreciated. Wife and I ordered a flight of beer and the winner for us was the peach wheat beer! So darn good. The food here is tasty as well. We will definitely be back soon!

What can I say?? Such a cool place to have dinner and drinks. We had reservations for 10 at 7:30 for a birthday party and neither the staff nor the establishment disappointed. We were seated quickly and drinks and²27th cra appetizers were delivered promptly. The guacamole and salsa were delicious and the fresh made chips were warm and crispy. I had the Rockford burger which consisted of a big burger patty covered with pepper jack cheese, bacon, and a vegetable garden of fresh produce. My wife had the turkey ... which was just what you'd think it was however served with a fried egg and it was absolutely terrific. We both accompanied our meals with sweet potato fries and washed them down with a few jamison orange old fashions and cherry limeade monitors. Great place and delicious meal... We'll soon return..

Sat outside on the patio by the river last weekend for lunch. Super nice! Service was good and the food was surprisingly good, too. I got the poke bowl with shrimp which from a brewery I knew I was taking a risk but they nailed it! My BF got the shrimp tacos and a Hefeweizen and liked everything, too. A nice find for sure!

This place was truly delightful. This old refurbished building has so much character, the staff was wonderful and the food delish. We had the turkey wrap with sweet potato fries, the cheese curds, the Cobb salad and a flight of beers. No complaints 😃

Always great beer and food! Had the waygu sandwich that was on special and it was probably the best steak sandwich I ever have had!! I’m sad it’s only a special hope they bring it back again and have the poutine again!! Bartenders were friendly and very knowledgeable!

We came here for lunch today and just loved the place. The old building is just beautiful inside. We were greeted and seated promptly. The staff were all very friendly. Our food was hot and plentiful. All five of us enjoyed our food. After we ate we went outside and sat down by the river to visit a little bit longer. Very nice atmosphere. We will come back here again.

Well Hello Rockford😁 Just had lunch with the Family at the Prairie Street Brewing Co. and wanted to share my experience with you All. They have done an excellent job of rehabbing the inside of this building. We sat down in the lower level of the restaurant so for those that may need Wheelchair asessable they have an elevator available for use.The menu has a nice variety of choices to tantalize all taste buds. The food was fantastic and we left feeling full. The atmosphere was great for a daytime meal and I feel this it would be fantastic during the summer with a view of the Rock River. Our waitress was very knowledgeable with their menu and the suggestions she made where just as delicious as she made them sound. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this establishment for all to try. If your looking for a Great affordable place for date night I would give them a try.

I just hosted a baby shower in the Peacock room. The food was excellent and service exceptional. They went out of their way to meet our needs and make sure everything was right. I wouldn’t hesitate to book an event there again.
