Got a lemon soft serve and it was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more. All of my coworkers rave about this place. And rightly so.

There Granita’s are really great tasting. Can’t go wrong with the strawberry pineapple mix. Natural with pieces of fruit, so sweet and delicious every time.

Me and my kids love this place love when the time comes and they open... We love the granitas and unusuals my son loves their food..they can get our money anytime

Finally made it back to Benny's!! I got my usual the "UNUSUAL". I also introduced my husband to the "UNUSUAL". He loved it!!. Forgot to take a pic, was to busy enjoying my dessert🍨😜. If you're ever in Rockford Illinois, stop by Benny's Dariette.

I bought a large chocolate malt and it was absolutely heaven. I think it came to $7.50 which I felt was a little high, but on a hot sunny day it was exceptional.

I had left my card at home and the lady that served me was very kind and patient. I ran home and got back in time for my girls and I get our orders. Nice place to go

Had the unusual granita soft serve combo and it was amazing. Exactly what the dr ordered. My wife had the granita, then we shared some crispy onion rings with boom boom sauce(🔥) and we tried the loaded Buffalo Chicken French Fries. We went for a snack an ended up having dinner. It was great! Highly recommend!!

The granita (lemon-strawberry) is everything. I moved away when I was in high school and one of my favorite places to visit when in town.

The wait for ice cream is worth it. If you order food call ahead of time because wait can be 30 minutes. Was going to this place when it was called Joes Dariette, Salamones, now Benny's. Always good ice cream and food.

The unusuals were awesome. So many different varieties of granita, I'll have to go back and try them all!

Simply in a way to say it "Icecream crack" always good items only downside is they'll do one order at a time before taking the next order meaning theyll take order fix it then next order. The longest wait for me was 1 hr. they was out of Blue Raspberry icy.

The dairette is a local ice cream staple serving the Westside and Levings Lake area of Rockford for decades. Well I have yet to try any of the hot food items, I will say that the ice cream and sweets assortment is great, and has some offerings that are unique to the west side of Rockford.

Granita, a form of flavored Italian ice, is a mainstay and comes in multiple flavors. They also do a combination, caller "an unusual," which is composed of half granita and have soft serve ice cream. I had a vanilla ice cream with lemon granita unusual and was very happy with my choice! Stop by to try something! The prices are very reasonable, and the treats are delicious!
