I've been here many times since 2011, I go in I eat, I mind my own buisness, I tp 20% no matter what. If you mind your own, there will be absolutely no problems. Guaranteed

Just stopped for a drink but was very nice. For downtown Rockford this place was a gwm clean had toilet paper in the bathroom and the floors weren't sticky. Don't know why it wasn't packed. F the disgusting district!

This place has fire tacos after 6.. Service is friendly and prompt. I definitely recommend if you're going out for drinks.

A Rockford cash only dive bar. Grab a cheap drink, and an ice cream shot and have a good time. Already a mix of crowds, pool, darts, and a good truck or food out of the back. It's been here forever so if you're a local you're most likely not reading this review.

Crazy busy for the St Paddy's Day Parade. But still the place to be!

Kitchen wasn't open so I can't review the food but the bar and atmosphere was great. Recommended watering hole if you waiting around for other establishments to open.

This is a fun place to hang out and meet new people and play pool, darts and shuffleboard not to forget the video games. They have awesome prices. The service is quick. The staff are friendly and they offer awesome Mexican food on Thurs, Friday and Saturday nights. This place is worth the trip. Highly recommended

Good drinks fairly priced, usually very busy on weekend nights. Nice pool and bumper pool table as well as darts and slots. Sam rocks!

Great food and service. Burgers, fish, onion rings and cole slaw are all excellent! Erica is a great server, polite, friendly, and very attentive without hovering. Friday fish specials! Stop in and see them, and ALWAYS remember to tip your waitresses well, especially in these times!

Had a great lunch at a good price today. Bartender was pleasant and we all had a positive experience.

I consistently return to CJs for the great atmosphere. It's always so fun, so laid back, so welcoming. I love the street karaoke that took place tonight. And I recently discovered just how good their food is too! Absolutely love CJs and will continue to go there.

I agree that this is definitely a low key, mellow bar. The owner is really fantastic. In order to get some friends and I to participate in karaoke, he promised us a drink chip. We cheated and all sang together and he still came through. I lost a dollar in the touchtunes jukebox when they needed to restart it and he came up to me later and tossed me a dollar.
The bartenders are sweethearts for the most part.
Drinks are pretty cheap.
All in all this is place is great hang run by really honest, good people. I love it!

Great bar! The staff seems to enjoy their time working there and are very friendly and attentive. Good location off State Street as well.

Fun environment and kudos to having taco place in house to get great service and Grub along with great drinks. Even had great music per DJ
