Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I rented a car from customer rep Deana who treated me like an old high school friend without being aware that I was a 30 year emerald club member. Since I wanted to put my purchase on my Visa debit credit card, manager R. Rude stepped in.
( I am not being sarcastic or condescending that is the young man’s name)
He prevented me from using my Visa Debit card credit card. Even though I had done it several times before.
Ok why the 5 stars you ask. Truthfully R. Rude upset me somewhat, however life is short so I ended my protest took the car and the hold charge on my platinum.
The rented Impala smelled like cigars so I rolled down the window and bought some microban to attempt to neutralize the stench to no avail. I called customer service and they arranged for a new vehicle. This one had the 2024 new car smell.
You see Mr. R Does not realize that he was operating inside of an unconscious bias.
So I forgive him. Ms Deana tried to save him from himself but when you think you’re the ”boss” sometimes you have to get closer to the coffee to smell it.
1. Mr. Rude the manager also cleaned the cars sometimes and was likely aware of the stench.
2. If I had not challenged that as a thirty year emerald club member no one had ever challenged my card.
3. Possibly I should not have said that he was in kindergarten when I got my emerald club membership.

So it’s on me.

They gave me a new car extended my time and gas to make up for my inconvenience. So yes 5 stars.

In my defense I had been traveling all day
and was a little rough around the edges.

National is still my rental car company even when the front line misses my emerald status.

Ryan and his staff worked hard on getting vehicles out to people who were waiting due to No vehicles on-site. They did notified us about the shortage of vehicles. Through the wait, I was able to make my appointment and get rolling!!! I appreciate your help and for accommodating me on my drop off location also. Thanks again Ryan!

From the second I approached the counter, Stephanie R. was awesome. I was sent there by another branch. They didn't talk to her and let her know I was coming she still handled everything quickly with professionalism and class. When she realized I worked for Chrysler, she made sure she got me one of the cars that will allow me to park in the normal parking lot. That is very important to the UAW members that come and rent from the local rental places, and we appreciate it when you guys go out of your way as Stephanie did to take care of us. UPDATE...... This is still the absolute best rental company in the area. I travel past several agencies, including an enterprise 2 minute walk from my house. What makes this place so great. Ryan and Stephanie. Stephanie is the reason I came back after my first time renting. Ryan is the reason I will not rent from anywhere else. The cars are always clean. Ryan makes sure to learn all the instrument panels so he can explain them to the drivers unfamiliar with a new car. They know me by name, treat me like family, and will forever have my loyal business. Thank you, Ryan and Stephanie, for taking pride in customer service. I appreciate the way you treat me.

I have been renting here at this location a couple of months already, and I don't even live close by, by the amazing customer service is all worth. The manager Ryan is so nice, and will go out of his to make sure the customer (which is me) is beyond happy and satisfied. i will be coming and send my friends

I wished they opened according to how the flights came in but it's was still a fast and easy process once they open. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have great customer service and make you feel appreciated. Enterprise is my favorite rental.car place!

Flew up last minute for business, road conditions were unfavorable, was able to move into a full size truck since my small SUV wasn’t available. I had confidence throughout the entire visit and went places most cars would’ve been stuck.

Excellent customer service from Stephanie Flanagan when we got our rental car and when we returned it. She went out of her way to make sure everything ran smooth. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is always our first choice when renting a vehicle.

This is the best franchise for National/Enterprise. My preference is for the National brand, though. (Better rewards program). The agent, John, is the best at what he does. Great knowledge of the cars here, and an excellent attitude towards his work. Friendly, and outgoing, he knows his job & it shows. Recommended 101%.

I rented a car from here when my truck went unexpectedly into the shop. Staff were friendly and efficient, the vehicle was clean, and the whole process, from pick up to drop off was quick and efficient.

I have been renting from this place for years. Their customer service is great and their prices keep me going back. The cars are the latest model and they run great. This calendar year, I have rented more than 5 vehicles from Enterprise and I plan on continuing to rent from them, especially while my kids are in college over the next 4.5 years

The staff is wonderful!! They took care of me! They made sure I received the best rate possible, the comp GPS because the vehicle didn't have it built in and I requested that, and I was running late returning the vehicle atleast 30-45mins and they didn't charge me! That will be the only Enterprise location I will rent from!

Clean cars and customer service is always great

By far the best customer service over the years. Stephanie, Cameron and Jamal will do everything possible to make your rental with them the best experience ever. So very personable and outgoing. Thank you for all you guys do!

Conveniently located in the Chicago-Rockford terminal.. Fast and friendly service, nice, clean, new car ( Chevy Malibu). Eay drop off. The entire experience couldn't have been better.

Ask for Stephanie Flanagan. From the very first interaction, she saved us all the hassle of renting a car and since then has helped us with many other trips - she goes the extra mile every single time. Will only use her and Enterprise - National - Alamo for our trips from now on.

Freeport's Enterprise has the best office anywhere. Friendly, accommodating, always going out if their ways to make your rental as good as it can be...

Great help from here. Tried renting a 2 door coupe from nearby Avis, very rude associate/manager there. Left a complaint review for them.
