I have stayed at this motel numerous times over the past few months while my house has been under construction. After trying multiple motels in the area, Motel 6 is my favorite. The rooms are clean and updated. The atmosphere is quiet and safe. There is hot coffee in the morning and a vending machine as well. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. For the price you are paying, I don’t think you could find a nicer place to stay.

I visited the Motel 6 in Rockford, IL on State Street yesterday, as I was helping out a friend to stay there. Let me tell everyone out there...this motel was and is the best hotel that I have ever seen. Beautiful inside and out. First and foremost, Bob, Terri and Zoey were fantastic and personable and they really care about the people, pets and motel. Their hospitality is one that you will never find at any other hotel. They work around the clock to make sure all their residents are taken care of. One in a million. You cannot find another motel or hotel that the maintenance people are at your call and onsite 24/7. The rooms are gorgeous, cannot say enough about the rooms. Since I am on my step...let me just address the people who left "not so great reviews", I am not clear if these would be legit. You must of all been at another place. To complain about dust on a counter... really you should of just wiped it off, not s big deal at all. If you do not tell Bob and Terri, how are they supposed to know? They handle all the many rooms in that place, so if they were unaware, shame on you for not informing them before you left your "not cool review".
Also very pet friendly too. To me that is the coolest next thing. Many people don't want to leave their pets with another person or boarded up, I am one of those people that treats my pets like family members. So I give this place a perfect 5 Stars. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of my friend. If and when I need a place to stay, I will definitely come there.

Bob and Terry are fantastic. Our stay was all around a good one. Room was spacious and newly renovated. Aside from some loud noises of moving what sounded like fruniture late a night, we have no complaints. Thank you Bob and Terry for making our stay a pleasant one.

We’ve been traveling the state’s and stayed at hotels and motels, some were ok some were ok, but this one was so much better then Hampton in Minneapolis, Minnesota even tho it was nice there. What made it special for us was customer service Bob and Terry they should be rated at a 10 cause they made sure we were comfortable with our choice in rooms, they generally cared, very friendly and we were always greeted. I think customer service should be an important part in any business, every hotel and motels we stayed at throughout our travels not one has any greeting skills like bob and Terry. So I definitely would recommend staying here and the room are spacious and clean. We loved it.

I had stayed at the Motel 6 years ago when they were on state street near the 90. I came to the area to move some stuff up to my storage facility and needed a place to stay with my puppy. I booked the room thinking it was at the same location but quickly found out that they moved down the street behind the old Stash O’Neil’s and Hard Times. The place was super clean and quiet. AC blew ice cold. There were no homeless people or riff raff around. Overall a great stay for the price.

Better than expected!!
In need of a weekend away, I booked a night at Motel 6 Rockford, IL for me and my fiancée. I hoped the rooms would be nice with all of the standard features a room should have. Once checked in (hours early - thank you Motel 6 Rockford, IL) we found that the layout of the room was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The parking was convenient and simple. The getaway was a success in large part to the fact that this hotel had a very comfortable feel. My search for the perfect fit is found - this will be our place of choice from here on out.

Its very quick and easy check in with the help of kiosk and the management team is also great, the solve the problem within few minutes.

My stay was GREAT from start to finish!! The customer service was A1! I was able to view the rooms before check in and was able to pick the one I wanted.(which does not happen in other places) when I viewed the pictures online of the rooms they where exactly like the pictures showed. I highly recommend if any1 is visiting or even want a few nights away from the hustle and bustle of the home life tell them "Melinda sent ya!"(lol)

The room appears to be freshly renovated. It was delightful to stay in this room! I think you could command greater rent than what I paid. The exterior in the rear of the motel is much deteriorated, but it is far less important than the interior of the motel, which was in excellent condition. I assume the exterior will be renovated at some point.

Sid was especially helpful in ensuring we had a great stay last night. He offered to take pics of us in front of the Christmas tree with his own camera, and texted them to my phone. We love how they came out and we appreciate the memory and photos from Motel 6 in Rockford. Convenient location, clean, quiet, and quaint. Clean. Unlike a lot of other affordable hotels in the Midwest, this one did not smell like mold. Service was great. We came in late and they were very accommodating.

Very happy with our stay. It was our first time trying Motel 6 & we really enjoyed it. The jacuzzi room looked just like the pics! The room was clean & comfortable. Was a great Anniversary get away. Definitely worth the money, which the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be back in the future.

People are really nice easy to deal with. My husband sent me and even though I had just woke up, and was grumpy trying to figure all this out, but the people at the window were very nice and patient even though I was the one being ill. This motel has been very satisfying compared to some in this area and really easy to deal with. They even saw that I was so ill and tired that they went ahead and let us in the room. I want to say I am sorry to the people at the front desk because they are extremely nice but did wonderful dealing with me. Thank you for all you do to keep you motel really nice and clean!
