Fidel Beauty Salon

A former coworker recommended Fide 8 years ago. Fide is a genius! He is friendly and very professional and does fabulous work. When he was moving to this new location I saw a post on Facebook saying he had moved to Chicago. I was devastated. In my desperation to find someone else I ended up at Educators of Beauty. Huge mistake! The instructor damaged my hair. I lost 13 inches of length. What was left of my hair was fried and just fell out in handfulls. I walked around with green fried hair for weeks as the director and owner refused to allow anyone to correct the damage done. I eventually found a salon willing to even touch my hair. I found Fide again on East State street by chance of luck. It was a huge misunderstanding as he ne er did move to Chicago. Happy ending. He is again my guy. And with his care and professional advice my hair is finally hair again. Although it is still very short it feels healthy again and shiny and normal. Fide Rubio is a hair God!!!

Good place to get haircut, nice music and lobby too.
