Levings Park

This is a beautiful park and lake. Perfect for swimming , picnics and other water activitis. They have very nice play areas for the kids.

Very nice and big to run a while, also fun because there is two parks to entertain the kids.

Two great playgrounds, close to the restrooms. A nice walkway, great shelters, and can watch the wake boarding, or the guys playing basketball!Had a great Sunday cookout there.

I love going here me and my family love to go here take walk on the garden watch the butterfly V the birds even though there are bird that will attack you in a fun playful way I guess but it's a very nice walk and is great if you want to get exercise and look at a nice River

Our Beautiful Levings lake. I have been going there since I was a kid. Just had our 2019 Family Picnic there. It was awesome..

This is a beautiful park. The lake offers a unique "wakeboarding" experience, and there are 2 playgrounds, one larger and a smaller one for the littles, as well as several shelters for gatherings. Also several open picnic areas with grills and tables. We had a nice time for my grandsons birthday there and they occasionally offer free live music shows in the summer. Just another hidden gem in Rockford, IL.

Attended the talent show / concert at Levings Lake Park last night, Aug 21,2022. Beautiful setting near the lake. Big happy crowd. Fun talent show followed by a great performance by Soul Review. I talked to a park district staffer who told me there is going to be a permanent bandshell for next season. Definitely plan on returning. 👍👍👍👍👍

Great for futsal. Rockford needs more outdoor courts

I've been here literally over a hundred times. If not to fish, just to get away and relax. Used to come here with a friend to the Tote Cart company picnic. A nice little park

I lived and grew up directly across the street from Levings Lake Park. I moved to New York City 9 years ago and have seen the improvements made over the years. One thing I can say, I don't like the fact a lot of the trees have been removed but overall the upgrades are nice. They've added a lot of fun stuff on Leveings beach

One of my favorite places in Rockford.

Very enjoyable. Spent the day playing kickball with grandkids. Lot of open space, U can stay 6 feet apart.

I loved this place it is perfect to go with the family it has a lake and you can fish

Nearly deforrested by all the trees that have been removed but still one of my favorite parks!

Your past by this place everyday it was nice outing when the weekend with family
