Really great people who want you to get the most out of your adventure. Our guide was vastly knowledgeable about the landscape, the rock climbing was excellent, and they gave constant encouragement to keep going and push the most out of the trip. Highly recommend if you want to try rock climbing in true nature.

I had some time to kill on a February weekend while working in Huntsville so I reserved a time to do some rappelling with True Adventure Sports. I was not disappointed. Isiah and Junior were very knowledgeable and professional. Prior to arriving to the rappelling site (which was a short drive from the business) they stopped at an overlook for a view of the canyon and discussed some of the local edible plants which was very interesting.

At the rappelling site I was able to get three rappels down an 80+ foot cliff. They were very professional on their procedures and you can tell that their first priority was safety. Afterwards they provided me with local areas of interest to check out while I was in the area.

I definitely enjoyed my time there and thought it was reasonable for the price. I would use their services again if I ever return to the area.

We had an incredible experience with True Adventure Sports! This was our second time going on the Caving Adventure! We are customers for life!! Israel and his team are incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, genuine and personable! My 8 yr old daughter came with us both times. They made everyone, especially our daughter feel truly special! She’s already looking forward to when we come back next year!! As are we!!

My family and I went on the rock climbing adventure and it was absolutely amazing! We had four guides with us (Abigail, Franky, Emmy, and Kim), and they were fantastic. Very fun to be around, but also very professional, attentive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. They were especially great with the three young kids (9, 7, and 5) who had never rock climbed before and were nervous.
Definitely recommend going, and we'll be going back ourselves.

This was an incredible experience. My wife and I used True Adventure for a rappelling adventure for our 28th anniversary. Neither of us had rappelled before and we are weary of heights. We explained our fears to the guides and they could not have been better.

First, safety is the main focus of the whole TAS team. All items were checked and double checked. I also liked that all procedures were explained to us so we completely understood the protocols. I learned a lot about how TAS doesn't cut any corners!

I went first and was openly nervous as this is a straight down 85' cliff face. The woman that helped hook me in and explained everything (I did not get her name) was so helpful and respectful of my fear. As I started over the edge, she used a very calming voice to talk to me about things unrelated to the event which helped me. Once over the edge, it was an exhilarating event. We got to each do two drops and would certainly do it again.

I HIGHLY recommend TAS. Even the recommendation of a local BBQ joint was awesome. We will go back to TAS and hopefully take the family next time!

If I could give 10 stars I would. TAS staff were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. This was by far one of the coolest things I have ever done In my life. Teaching proper and safe techniques was their #1 priority. I would highly recommend them to any one. I am already ready for another course! Definitely check them out, you will not regret it!

The place, the owner, the crew, and the adventure were all awesome. They were very professional but also lovely people. We highly recommend visiting True Adventure Sports LLC. We had a lot of fun, felt safe the whole time, and truly appreciated the long time they spent with us and the good price of the adventure. I just have one positive recommendation. We wanted to leave a tip at the end, but we didn’t carry any cash. Maybe a Cash App or a Venmo QR code displayed somewhere would have worked great for that purpose. We highly recommend booking with them and book in advance.

The Adventure Sports has the most amazing team!!! They were so caring and encouraging to everyone who attended today! I can't thank them enough for all they did for me. I was a little nervous due to having knee surgery this year. I couldn't have asked for a better company to complete this adventure with than True Adventure Sports!!!

My group of four is still raving about our Wild Cave Tour with Junior! The cave tour was awesome, but you'll definitely want to bring some knee pads. One of my friends was nervous going in but Junior did a great job of making us feel safe and at ease. He allowed us to move at our own pace and offered alternate routes - take the challenges; they're safe and fun! Crawling through (what at least felt like) a very small tunnel in complete darkness was a surreal experience. I can't wait to try another tour!

Love these people! So patient and friendly with our large group with ages 7-50+. Every single person got personal attention and encouragement during rappelling, and safety measures were top notch. We also spent a day at their gorgeous swimming hole with cliffs for jumping and they provided music and lifeguards.

Definitely make a reservation for one of their many adventures and have a great time!!

Strange that this company could get less than a 5 star review. We did the rappelling adventure and it was by far one of the best experiences. We met at the store at 10am and shortly after we all drove it to the rappelling location. The views from the top of the cliffs were amazing. The staff were great and very personable. I can’t wait to come back for the advanced rappelling adventure. They also had great prices for the experience you get! They mentioned adventure trips to Europe where they do adventures each day. I travel to Europe twice a year and I’m definitely considering going with them!

True adventure sports is home to some of the most helpful and knowledgeable outdoorsman in Alabama. While we were staying in their pristine campground, they were more than happy to accommodate our needs for water and info on the things to do near the Little River Canyon. The staff have a comprehensive knowledge of all the cool stuff in the vicinity, and are more than happy to help anyone find something that speaks to them. I’m definitely going to stay at their site when i come back to the canyon!

Our boy scout troop chose to rock climb and repell with TAS. Israel was very helpful with setting up reservation for our group, including our camp site. We found the group of guides to be very professional, and safety minded. All while still being jovial and cutting up with the group. I would highly recommend using them if you haven't. We definitely will again. We now have a couple of boys interested in climbing who had never climbed before.

Thanks Israel and the two guides who lead our Trail Life Troop on the spelunking tour through the caves. Our boys loved it. None of them had ever seen a cave "in the rough" before. We appreciated the prayer before the tour started and the friendliness of you and the guides.

Brought a group of 50 Louisiana high school sophomores to these guys in Alabama for a class trip. They were fantastic! They took us on a night hike, repelling, rock climbing, and then on a waterfall hike. The guides were polite and funny. The food they provided was quite good. All around a very fun time. We will probably be back next year.

Very impressed by True Adventure Sports and their guides Tyler, Jonathon, and Daniel. A friend of mine and I did their Beginner Rappelling and Climbing Combo, Extreme Wild Cave Tour, and stayed at their primitive campsite to get an introduction to Little River Canyon. It was a perfect introduction and I plan to go back and attend one of their classes and other offerings.

I went High, Shorty got Low. I sucked it In, I poked it Out, I went Over, I went Under, I got Dirty only to be Cleaned by the Water again And Again. I Slide, I walked Over, I Climbed Up, I Climbed Down. I jumped Up, Over and Across. I was Blind by Darkness only to see the LIGHT. Loved Every Minute Of It!.. No experience like it. Staff was Great.

Some of my friends and I decided to book a Rock Climbing/Rappel combo for a Saturday trip. We were nervous at first but our guides (Stephen and Tyler) proved their expertise as Rappel Masters then our nerves were calm. The rush of the rappel was awesome and the challenge of the rock climb was exciting. I would suggest True Adventure Sports for any ages and for any level of adventurer out there.

Simply put: they are impressive, fun, and I am definitely going back.

My wife and I decided to take a spur of the moment trip out of town to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. We wanted to do something off the beaten path as we are both 50ish and wanted an activity rich experience. After visiting the website we tried to book an adventure. Due to short notice on our part all adventures were full on the day we would be in town. I decided to call and the owner himself answered the phone. After hearing of our plight he arranged to take us on an impromptu adventure. Met the owner Israel Partridge and Ashley at their office. After some thorough instructions and safety briefings we were over the side of a beautiful cliff face rappelling next to a waterfall. Part of the fun was the hike back up to the top where along the way Israel introduced us to many of the trees and plants indigenous to the area. It was one of the most memorable trips we have taken. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

The most amazing experience rapelling. My family and I enjoyed it so much. The staff was so kind, caring, and helpful. They helped my 6 yr old rapel when he wanted to quit. Tyler and Ben were super sweet. We even prayed before starting our journey. So worth it....Thank you True Adventure Sport!
