Coldspring Sunday Houses

We came up here from Houston last year for a couple nights and it was a great experience. The owner Ms. Currie was very nice when booking on the phone, and the rental itself was an excellent deal - cheaper than most hotels but a lot better since you get a full kitchen and living room, and much cleaner too. You can call to pay via card, or leave cash at the end of your stay.

I particularly recommend staying here if you want a "base camp" for hiking in the National Forest, which has several trailheads just a few minutes away. There's also a small grocery store a couple minutes down the street.

Very nice and cozy place, stayed there a few months back. Great value for the amenities, there are few things to do in area but you need a car as it’s a small town.

This hidden gem worked our perfect for our trip to visit the 2 National Forrest in the area. The cottage is clean and well equipped for our family. TV and Wi-fi plus a full kitchen setup to cook with the most essential items-coffee maker! Modern efficiency is a great description with charm and cozy feels. The porch invites you to enjoy coffee, sunset and sunrise. This will be our spot of choice when in the area. Linda the owner was such a great introduction to the property over the phone and made making reservations simple. Highly recommend the Sunday House in Coldsprings as a great place to stay. Beds were comfy and bathroom was great with good pressure. All you need after spending the day in the beautiful Forrest.

This place is AWESOME!! It deserves 1000 stars!! Clean bright and so welcoming! We came in town for a friend's wedding & to throw my daughter a baby shower. The owner recommended the open floor plan house with the 2 Murphy beds. She was spot on! We had more then enough space for our lodging and the shower. The kitchen appliances are all full size & came fully stocked with everything we needed and so did the bathroom. The complimentary toiletries & the soft towels were wonderful. Towels washrags blankets pillows etc we never ran out even though there were 6 of us. This house has a little hidden gem we didn't even know about- a bonus little bedroom right off the kitchen with a twin bed in it. Twin bed 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa many sleeping choices. Each house has a amazing porch with a swing and Matching rocking chair & its own driveway. Big screens with free satellite and free wifi too! Its really like home away from home. Anytime we are in that area we will definitely be returning to this wonderful place!! I highly recommend this place to everyone!! You will not regret it!!

It was very clean, even smelled clean, it was perfect for our mini Anniversary getaway! A small town with very friendly people and good food! Very quiet unlike motels. Thank you Ms. Linda! We plan on coming back soon. We stayed 10/17 - 10/20/22

I stayed at the Sunday Houses back in 2015 and fell in love with those little houses. At the time of typing this post, I'm sitting on the couch of house 79. I will be back again. Oh, I can't forget about the young lady, Linda Currie, was sweet and kind.. God Bless and much love from the Bennett family.

We rented a cottage for my son & family for a great Memorial Day weekend. Their cottage was perfect! Very clean and quiet.
Their stay was great & enjoyed getting to know Coldsprings.
Ms. Linda was so sweet, and helpful during the whole process. The Sunday House cottages is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

Sunday Houses is very clean, stocked with just about all you need, comfy, the owner lady is very nice, quiet surroundings, personal parking for every house, restaurants and everything else very close, the beautiful trees are everywhere, and I would and will recommend these get-away vacation houses to everyone. Oh and each house has it's own color. We had the yellow one.

I can see why Linda and the Sunday Houses have received such rave reviews. I'm adding mine. The house is perfect and well-equipped in quiet surroundings. Pretty much everything one might need for comfort is provided. And Linda made the whole thing so easy! I'll be coming back.

The Sunday Houses is truly a place of peace and tranquility. You walk into your cottage and you feel instantly home. As if a weight is lifted and a deep breath of relaxation is deserved. There is only one word that sums up the Sunday Houses completely and that word is.... Blessing! Mrs. Linda is truly the sweetest woman. We can't wait to continue making memories at the Sunday Houses. This place was a great escape! My wife and our 3 children loved it. We stayed a weekend and it was really cozy. The owner was so nice and it is just a hidden little treasure. We will most likely come back again.

The Sunday houses are quaint small cottages that give a small town feel and are very comfortable and inviting. They're just a few minutes away from the double Lake recreation area and the small town of Cold Springs, and are great for anyone Who would like to visit the campsite but stay cozy while sleeping that night.

Stayed here over Mother's day weekend. Great little cottages, very clean, everything works, nice porch. Reasonably priced and the owner is very responsive. Can walk to restuarant nearby and 3 minutes from Double Lake rec area. Will definitely stay again. You have to check the website for the right address, Google maps takes you to the office.

I LOVED this place. The owner was amazing, location perfect, nice little house, well stocked, and very cozy. I will never rent a hotel in Coldspring's again. #seeyouguysnextyear

Very comfortable setting for a weekend stay, cold a/c. Lovely accommodations. I love how people will bring extras and leave for the next guest. Will be back again soon.

I was bicycling through with a group of cyclists and stayed at these cottages. They were reasonably priced, had cable, WiFi, clean beds and were quite. The owner was very accommodating.

We been here May 6-8 and June 10-12 2022 and these houses are better than a hotel room you can cook and enjoy the house like it’s your house Mrs Linda Currie is a very nice and lovely lady I would recommend anyone to stay here you will love it

What a beautiful, charming little cottage we stayed in. The home was very clean and just perfect for one night during our trip across the USA. I would highly recommend!!

Great place to stay and the little houses are so cute, cozy, and comfortable. We stay here every time we are in town. And Miss Linda is absolutely the best!!

This place is great ,it has everything just grab your groceries and anything else you need is right in this cosey little Sunday house,the best place I've ever rented it's safe no next door roommate ,nice,clean and spacious and the best thing is it's peaceful and quiet here in the country.
