The food here was amazing. We stopped in for breakfast and weren't disappointed. The food was great as was the service. Don't miss this place if you are around Lake Livingston.

So great! If you haven't been, you need to go! Patty Melt is amazing and the homemade fries are awesome!! Great staff and customer service 🙂

The biscuits and gravy here are incredible. I definitely recommend them. Also had the pancakes which were delicious and my husband enjoyed his French toast. Great service and food. Will be coming back next time we are in the area

Cup of Joe

Sipping on a warm cup of joe. Enjoying the ambiance of a slow morning, my stomach is ready to enjoy the taste of a home-cooked meal. I come here as often as I can when Im at home on leave. However, this morning feels a little different. Knowing that I'm leaving in a few days, returning to a place that nobody wants to go but we go to stand in the place where others cannot.
It's funny how the little things make life so much more memorable. The Cottage Cafe is one of those places. Treated like kin and respected for your loyalty, this place seems to make me forget about all my worries, even if it's only for the duration of a meal.

WORTH THE DRIVE!! Anthony was awesome & the food was fantastic. The coleslaw & tarter sauce tasted homemade ... the fries were perfect (homemade) & the burger was fresh cooked & juicy!! We will be back.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Must go to if you're nearby for breakfast or lunch! Even if you're not nearby, please make the drive. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED!! Friendly staff and amazing food!!!

Small little place with big feelings. Took my crew here to eat, the service and friendly staff are worth every penny. Fresh,hot food comes out in a timely manner. Young man working the registrar is a charm. This is the kind of place you want to give your money.

One of the only little places to eat near the lake house we rented. It was great food and even better service. I would highly recommend, for a quick bite. We don't have any good home cooked diners like that one where we come from!

Me & my husband just love everything about this place! We eat the most delicious breakfast tacos & sausage biscuits & creamy milk gravy. We go there just about every weekend. The cook Debbie and her wonderful staff Miss Karen & grandson Anthony really know great customer service.Miss Debbie has daily specials that everyone should check out! All her meals are cooked from scratch. She also bakes cakes & pies if you have enough room or just get a piece to go! The cottage club sand which & fried is one of my favorites! Please all the locals go check it out! Awesome food!

The food is all made that day, as you order it, so is fresh and tasty. Prices are very reasonable as well.

You'll be glad you went by for breakfast or lunch. Closed for dinner, though.

The best breakfast I've had. Seasoned perfectly. Very friendly. Off the beaten path but well worth the visit. Will definitely be back. They even have drive through if your in a hurry. Can't beat the hospitality.

This place is amazing!!!!! I have no clue where "grandma" (that's her name) learned to make biscuits like that but I am willing to pay to work there so I can learn lol.

Had breakfast at cottage cafe today. Food and service are super good. Small place but really good vibe going.

The food is consistently great here. Anything you get! Breakfast or lunch! The service and staff are friendly and work hard to get your food to you in a timely manner. This is a small cafe with limited seating however come with a BIG appetite!!! Love love love this feel good home cooking cafe!
