First and foremost, absolutely amazing staff. This was the first store I purchased my firearms at and they made it an awesome and educating experience. I’ve always had knowledge of firearms and experience but I was finally able to own my own but they still made sure to educate me on safety and precautions which would be great for first time buyers. Awesome selection of firearms and accessories of all kinds. Great quality firearms with my Glock 19, Springfield 1911A1, Heritage Arms Revolver, and Battle Arms Development BAD-15 rifle were all purchased here in perfect condition with original packaging and all functioning spectacular. Amazing place all around and great for first time firearm purchasers who want a simplified, personal non-commercialized transaction.

Great Experience! I went to this store to purchase a new pistol. I was in the market for a Glock 17. The guy that helped me was great and very knowledgeable. I was also looking for another mag extender for my wife’s Glock 43. They were out and without hesitation he told me about another local business that I could go to and find what I was looking for if I did not want to order one in. I purchased the pistol I went in for and left a happy customer. Everyone that was working there seemed very nice and happy to be there. I even spoke with the gunsmith on site about a Remington 870 that was giving me issues and he asked me to bring it in for him to take a look at and fix. I have referred several friends to this store since. I don’t understand the negative reviews about this location. I had a great experience and will be purchasing my next firearm from this business.

This is a really helpful store. They have excellent staff there that's very helpful and knowledgeable & always been very respectful & able to help me find what I'm looking for on reloading supplies and other items. Their customer service is really on par. They have done great work to firearms that I've needed help with and always turned out excellent. With it being a one-stop shop for everything, I can completely avoid shopping at a big box store and online. It's great shopping locally because the money spent there will also go straight back into the community & not go overseas unlike the way big box stores do.

The prices they have there are very fair and the staff are always willing to order accessories & firearms if they aren't in stock. It's a shame that people have to bad talk the owners of A Texas Girl's Guns, and their business, while those people try to unethically advertise their business on the Google review for this store.

I would highly recommend this store to everyone I know that's looking for excellent help and excellent knowledge.

So I bought my first gun from here today. Everyone was kind, patient, and willing to explain everything to me - I really appreciated that. It was also not uptight like other gun stores I have been to. I will say the pricing was a little higher than what I was expecting to pay compared to other gun stores and online, but the People who work here is what drew me in; in spite of the higher prices.

Took an old revolver that had been given to me by grandfather to have it inspected for safety. It took some time but the gentleman was upfront with me and told me he had a long backlog. Price was extremely reasonable. Staff were friendly and gave me free advice on the pistol. I have no concerns going back or purchasing from them.

I find some of the other reviews her a little confusing, especially the one written by a competitor (shady move mike). I live in liberty hill and have been in to the store a number of times. I am a handgun instructor, avid shooter and reloader and have always gotten good advise and info from the folks there. They have always been friendly and polite and I will continue to do business with them whenever I can. As for the prices on everything I have looked at were fair for a store front gun shop. Comparing them to online is out of line plus unless you are taking into account shipping fees hazmat fees and transfer fees you aren’t comparing apples to apples anyway. The will support my local gun shop over the websites any day!

Well, there are some ugly reviews here. I shop this gun store pretty often and feel that I am treated well. The prices are very competitive with the big box stores, so why would they negotiate lower? They are a for profit privately owned business after all. Try negotiating at a big box store, let me know how that works for you. If you do not know much about guns or what you are looking for, make that known to Judith (owner) and she will help you and educate you. She knows guns, and if you act like you do as well but speak ignorantly, you are likely to get what you have coming. So look, if you want to go to Cabelas, take a number and wait, then wait for a long time again to get through the buying process, knock yourself out. If you were offended by Judith, it is most likely because she figured out you had no business owning a firearm anyway, particularly one she sold you that resulted in your foot blown off (or god forbid, worse). Larue buyer - you are aware of the fact that Larue stays backed up due to the high demand of their exclusive custom product, right?

So the Bakers r very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and really took the time to show my wife and I the Do's and the Do Not's. If u are in the market for a Hand gun and or a Sport Rifle of any caliber larger than a .223 this is your place . There is also 2 different employees that have a Military background that also r very very knowledgeable as well. It is we worth the time to travel out to there place of business. You'll won't be disappointed as well!!!!

The repair to remove a broken cartridge in my 270Win was very helpful and effective.
The atmosphere is friendly and the prices look comparable to other shops this size.

I have shopped at A Texas Girl's Guns since 2011. They have always been very courteous and helpful. The owners and their employees have always been very attentive and informative when I have been in their store. I definitely recommend A Texas Girl's Guns to anyone that is looking to purchase a firearm, ammo, or accessories.

My wife and I wanted to find a gun shop that offered LTC classes. In our immediate area we found several, and decided to visit a few. Our main goal was to find an instructor we were comfortable with, one who would take the time to evaluate our skills, and guide us through the process. We found that at A Texas Girls Guns. The owners, Judith and Dennis, offer a systematic approach, one that emphasizes safety and skills over expediency. We took two courses with them: Pistol Marksmanship, followed a few weeks later by the LTC course. In between courses, we practiced at the range they introduced us to. At the end we not only passed, but our experience and confidence increased dramatically.

Their gun shop offers a wide array of products, and the assistance you would expect from a family owned business. They listen to you, offer suggestions, and work to solve your needs.Their prices are competitive, and their products are top notch.

We came in as customers, and left as friends.

I stopped by this little shop in Liberty Hill by my dads advice and I’m so happy I made the short 20 min drive from my home in Leander. I was looking to complete my MK18 Clone-ish build with some Radian Weapons Systems Jewelry like the Talon Ambi-Safety, Raptor SD SL Charging Handle, Enhanced BCG, and some sweet looking Radian take down pins. I was ecstatic to find these parts from a local dealer as the top shelf parts are somewhat impossible to find locally. I picked up some H110 powder for the 300blk loads. I also found some hard to find K&S Trigger pins in a particular design that I’ve had difficulty finding. I’ll be headed back in the store next week for a few other parts that I need. The owner and his wife were salt of the earth and very helpful and kind. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Great customer service from knowledgeable sales staff. Her selection of firearms was impressive, especially given that many dealers have no stock at all these days. It’s worth the drive to Liberty Hill!

Helpful, efficient, very fair prices. The other reviews on here are absolutely and completely untrue, and seem to just be competitive slander. Which is really sad to see. Great place to come and buy weapons and ammo though
