Jerry's Restaurant

Wow! The catfish dinner was wonderful but what stood out for me was the side of Boudin Balls. They were HUGE and melt in your mouth. Service was like it often is in small town, simply amazing. I would definitely visit again anytime I’m in the area.

Went yesterday for supper. Fried shrimp and catfish was delicious. Hot fresh and perfect. Staff was super friendly. I was hungry and forgot to take pics of food. Trust me it was great! The hot Texas weather was putting a strain on their ac. It was pretty warm inside. If you haven't stopped here you should. I felt like I was in my memaws dining room 1980! Oh I forgot to mention the enormous fresh homemade rolls, they are so delicious. They have pies too and frozen drinks!

We've come here several years in the past. It has been a long time since we were here. The food was great but not as good as I remember. The oysters breading was a little doughy. The chicken fried steak crust was a little hard. The flavor and the meat were fantastic. There were several people that arrived when we did and that may be why we didn't get waited on for a while. Once our order was placed, it came out quickly.

We are new to Livingston area and had seen reviews for chicken fried steak @ Jerry's. They didn't disappoint ordered the smaller size chicken fried steak and it was still a large serving. Absolutely perfect. Also had catfish & shrimp plate also a very good portion size and delicious. Food was fabulous. There was only one server but she was kind and on point. The restaurant was quaint and very laid back. We are fans and will be back.

Food was delicious. I had stuffed shrimp and boudin balls. Wife had fried shrimp and crawfish. The entire wait staff was very friendly. They even gave my grandson some candy and a piece of strawberry cake. We are gonna return. Mmmmm mmmmm

This place is like going home for Christmas! The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Southern home-style cooked meals. You won't be thinking about your next meal when you roll out of Jerry's.
I had the western omelet this trip. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Oh my! Some place are worth driving the extra mile. This is one on my list.

We ordered the omelet, breakfast sampler and biscuits and gravy. So good 💯

Right down the street from the KOA. Server was friendly, efficient. Had the chef salad with the gigantic rolls! Took half home. The coconut meringue pie was fantastic too. Small time feel ......great place for comfort food right off Lake Livingston
In Onalaska!

Good food! Enjoyed the atmosphere, too. Especially liked the history of Onalaska on the menu. Had to take a picture to read it all at a later time.

My visit to Jerry's Restaurant was an absolute delight from start to finish! The food was exceptional - from the crispy and flavorful onion rings to the beef roast and delicious fried chicken with sides, every dish was a true culinary delight. The cake as part of the lunch special was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
Beyond the delicious food, the staff and owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a warm and inviting touch to the dining experience. I highly recommend Jerry's Restaurant to anyone looking for top-notch food and a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

Drove our motorcycles was an awesome trip weather was good . Stopped at this restaurant and had omelets and coffee. Service was fast and good looking servers as well .

We were riding motorcycles in the area and stopped in. We had the special and some onion rings. They were all delicious! This place was a great pitstop! The food was amazing and the staff did a great job waiting on us! Definitely worth checking out!

Diner experience in Onalaska. Food was delicious and I cleaned my plate. The "Jerry's breakfast" was shared by two of us: 2 eggs, ham, grits, 2 silver dollar size pancake and biscuit and gravy. Yum!

Didn't get dessert but the pies looked tasty and their dessert menu was extensive. Cinnamon rolls were featured at checkout but we passed on them as we had no room in the tummies. The rolls were size of saucer plate!!

Good place to stop!

You've just gotta try this place. People and food are worth the drive.

So glad we came across this place! Dont let the exterior mislead you. The inside is clean, homey, great service, and the food was amazing. Hot, insanely fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend!

The food was good, fast and hot. Not a lot of wait, even though there were nine of us. The restaurant was busy, and now, we know why. We'll visit again. Thank you.

The chicken fried steak here is the REAL DEAL and not from a bag! Onion rings were excellent! Service was a little slow. They looked short-handed.

I love eating at Jerry's Restaurant! The staff is very warm and friendly. They make you feel right at home.

Nice quiet friendly dinner with bar. Had a lunch chicken fried steak with 3 sides and desert. All delicious.
