Northshore RV Resort on Lake Livingston

We had a wonderful time as a family swimming in the public pool they offer. The pool was clean, it was cool and very refreshing in this summers heat!! They had chairs for in the sun, as well as chairs In the shade. I can't say anything about the RV sites cause we didn't visit there. Only the pool and the splash pad; Which works..... sometimes. It's $10 per person for a day pass. You get your arm bands, and you can come and go until 9pm. when they close.

Love this campground. Our family has been coming here during the summer for about 10 years. Beautiful views of the lake. Nice pool love the beach area. Concrete Pads great for walking the dogs.Dog area for the pets. Ruby is so friendly at the front desk enjoy visiting with her each summer!!!!!!

Mrs. Ruby and the staff super helpful and great! I have stayed here many times with my family and enjoyed every minute! The cabins are always cleaned and stocked with items i need for the week or weekend! It is a great place to come and make memories with the family! I stayed down the road at a different KoA and regretted every minute. This will always be my go to for a relaxing get away! Thank you Mrs. Ruby for always making it a fantastic experience!

Last week was our first time taking our boat to Lake Livingston. Ruby helped us all through our reservation process to sharing her knowledge of the area. Our Cabin (cabin #1)was exactly what we expected. Small but close to the water. Practically a full kitchen tucked in there. Very clean..no bugs. Plenty of lighting. Picnic area with charcoal grill and fireplace for bonfire. Our only disappointment was in our own choice to not launch the boat from their boat launch. We are inexperienced boaters and the boat launch appeared very steep..but we drove to the State Park and launched from there. Fishing from the pier at 8 pm was fun to catch little Channel cats. We highly recommend staying at Northshore Resort. I can't wait to go back.

Hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed in!!! Super friendly staff, They never fail to contact me back with updates on and problems !!! 100% recommended for the Polk County area!! Great prices , lovely area !!! I will be coming back at least once A year!!

We absolutely love this resort. The management and staff are so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back. Big shout out to Ms Ruby. She always has a smile on her face, she is the sweetest lady.

Besides the construction that is going, the view is beautiful. The fishing was best in the morning time. The management and staff were extremely kind and helpful. We had a pleasant time on our fishing trip. I have already booked my next fishing trip.

I would give a perfect rating but the cabin could have been clearner. The dishes provided were not clean. The property is very nice and clean. The beach was so nice and the pool also. The community showers were clean and nice.

Good location for your RV, good place to relax enjoy a nice day and do some fishing with the family. They have several residents that live on site year around. Everyone seems very friendly. Not too many front row spots open at the time many you need to book early

This place is awesome! We really enjoyed our stay. Had to drag our daughter out of the lake at dark and off the fishing pier late at night. It was very relaxing (so much so that I put my phone away for the weekend). The staff was friendly, grounds were well maintained, and the cabins were very nice. On top of everything we made new friends. A fantastic weekend!!

We absolutely adore Mrs. Ruby! We live in Onalaska & still camp here regularly, our kiddos love the pool, splash pad, playground and beach area! The resort is very family oriented. We have met some amazing people by camping here! Very clean & customer service is spot on. The wristband policy, keeps non-paying individuals out of the park which is a plus for us! If you have not been to Northshore you are absolutely missing out!

First I’ll start off by saying Ruby is phenomenal!! I have camped here several times and will continue to make this my #1 choice. Every-time I make a reservation Ruby goes above and beyond!! Their wristband requirement is the best!!! Keeps non-paying visitors to a minimal. I have also been to a few other camping sites who have required this as well. So I don’t feel as if this guideline is ridiculous!! We love the beach and the splash pad!! Keep up the good work North Shore!

Updated July 2019: I'm still thrilled to be here! The website does NOT do justice to the amenities here. The laundry room is spotless, and the bathrooms and showers are VERY clean. The game room is super cool and has a lot of games to play. I can't wait to bring my nieces here! The pool always looks clean and the beach looks like lots of fun! I always see people and kids on various floating devices having a blast. Perfect for kids! The park is quiet and the office is run very professionally, this was the big seller for me here. The office staff is professional, friendly and very helpful in all matters. Additionally they respond to emails VERY quickly, unlike KOA who never emailed me back once. The people who rent monthly appear to be very friendly, last night I noticed them helping a couple who rented a cabin find their lost dog at 10pm, how nice is that!? I only wish I could give this place more stars!
May 2019: Was really pleased with my stay here last weekend. I got a pet-friendly, basic cabin and it was just what I was looking for. Very quiet and the scenery was excellent. The front office staff was incredibly friendly and I also met the maintenance man who was equally friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the stay so much I plan on putting an RV there and living full time. This was a nice gem. I saw other posts that there were some bugs and such, I just wanted to say it's Texas and it's on the lake, there will be bugs and other wildlife folks lol.

We love this campground! Have been coming here over 5 years now - every time we stay longer! We've travelled and camped to Alabama, west Texas, Hill Country, Oklahoma and we always end up here. It's close to all amenities. Staff are exceptional and always willing to go the extra mile ! Grounds are really well maintained - no garbage around - very clean. The pool is sparkling clean. Everyone camping here is friendly. We're heading home soon to Canada but wish we could stay longer! It's a 26 hr drive but definitely worth the effort. We camp in a motorhome. We'll be back!! I stayed here twice for several nights at a time in an rv, and will definitely be back. Both times I was parked behind the main building, but still had a great view of the lake out my windows. The facilities are super, super clean and the grounds impeccably maintained. The only time I needed something, the staff fixed me up in minutes. They have been a true pleasure to deal with at all times--especially Ruby, in the office. She is a real gem!

We stayed there the end of December all of January and left February 15. The office staff are grade A folks, they let us know when our mail arrived and even sent a return package 📦 back for us. The grounds are well maintained as is the pool and laundry room. We highly recommend this park.

With this beautiful night photo, we say goodbye to a fantastic place, cozy, pet friendly, clean, very well located. 100% recommended, definitely a place to enjoy. The only suggestion is a little more light on the Grill outside the cabins. Thanks for everything, we will be back very soon

Loved are lil vacation here, the cabins are responsible, clean , has pretty much everything you need , camping ground is clean ,so are the pools and the staff are very friendly. Can't wait till next time. Only thing is I wish there was more lighting outside by the pit

We love this place. Good sites and facilities. Management is excellent. We love Ruby and her staff. We go to North shore at least twice a year and always enjoy it so much. Have met some wonderful folks and look forward to seeing them each year. Thanks for such a beautiful view and relaxing environment.
