Yummi sushi and grill

Reminds me of a more classic feel Japanese restaurant.
Great fish compared to most other places. All you can eat menu had good selection and worth the cost for me, I'll eat 3 rolls myself.
Couldn't help myself, started eating then realized they deserve a photo and 5 stars.

Had an amazing experience at the all-you-can-eat sushi spot! The nigiri was fresh, flavorful, and truly stood out. Paired with hot sake, it was a delightful combination. The fried ice cream for dessert was the cherry on top—legit and perfectly executed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in quality sushi and unique desserts!

Came at 7pm on a Tuesday and we had the entire place to ourselves for about half the meal.

We ordered the Children’s Chicken Yakisoba for our 1 year old and he tore it up. My only complaint was that the edges of the chicken were a little too crispy so if you have a picky eater they might not like that.
Husband ordered the Beef Teppanyaki. Neither of us had tried it before but he couldn’t stop talking about it.
I ordered the Ceviche Roll and Habanero Salmon Roll. Both were amazing but my mouth is watering right now thinking of the ceviche roll.

Happy hour is 4-7pm Monday-Thursday and all day Sunday for dine in. AYCE Sushi is on the weekends.

We tried three items. The Tokyo roll, the yummi two salmon Bento box, with California roll, and the kids got the chicken egg noodle dish. All three dishes were very good. The shrimp tempura was a little small and not fresh either, so that would be my only complaint. Service was Wonderful, and the restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. Next time, i would order something more like the california roll because it was so good.

I was in the mood for sushi so I thought I'd give this place a try. It was located in a decent part of town and the neighborhood surroundings were nice. The inside of the restaurant was very nice with tablecloths on all the tables, which I think is a added plus. The server I had was very good and very attentive. Before they bring you out your meal, you are given a bowl of very tasty miso soup. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was very tasty. The sushi meat was very good and I loved the avocado slices. Their menu is like 6 or 7 pages long so I will have to go back and sample more stuff and adjust their rating if I need to. LOL! But for now, it's going to remain five stars.

My friend and I were traveling across Texas exploring the state, when we really wanted a bento box. While on the road we google benti boxes and it suggested this place. Sadly... no bentos outside of lunch time. However, we still gave the place a shoot and were not disapointed. Very nice place for a date or a gathering. The pricing seems a little high at first glance but the portions are huge. So you get your moneys worth and delicious too. What made it an even better experience is that I was able to wish my friend a happy birthday with a slice of cake right before he had to take off the next day. Very strong finish to our vacation and i permanently bookedmarked this place for future events. This was fantastic. Would recommend and i will return myself.

We’ve only been to this restaurant a couple of times but have had great experiences on both occasions. The quality and freshness of the food was top notch and the staff were friendly and helpful. We never felt rushed and enjoyed sitting in the secluded area of the restaurant. We ordered a few different rolls along with some nigiri and it was all served on a boat which made the presentation a little more exciting for our kids. Great place!

My wife loved the place. It's the first decent sushi she has had in San Antonio that was both good tasting and reasonably priced. When we were here in September, my son ordered the tempura plate and it was way too much food for him. Should have gone with the appetizer. Today my wife wanted sushi for her birthday. So since this is only place we would consider, off we went. Great presentation good prices and great tasting

Great relaxed location to get some sushi! I had the Wasabi Roll, which was quite good, but I got to sample some of the sauce for the Reaper Roll--now I know what I'm getting next time 😎 The sauce was spicy, but with great flavor!

Service was great, and I really like the overall feel of the place. Just pleasant, chill, and a nice spot to drop in and have lunch.

Delicious & fresh sushi, with various sushi rolls and they are big size! The atmosphere is relaxing with nice ambient music. The dining area is clean. 👍🏻

Best experience for sushi in San Antonio so far. Quaint place. The ambiance makes for a nice peaceful place to unwind and enjoy the culinary expertise. I took my oldest daughter and she absolutely loved it. Mina was my server and she was the most professional server I have had in a very long time. She served from the correct side, all my food including my apps came out at the correct time. I was not rushed and felt very satisfied with the experience as a whole. Taste , texture,presentation was all spot on. Congratulations Yummi , you nailed it. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys great service and nice atmosphere.

Just went in for some sushi. Got two types of tuna. Very reasonably priced. Soup came with the meal. I was served quickly. It was lunch time during the week and it was not crowded. Generous portion of wasabi which had a good kick and pickled ginger. Both wasabi and ginger came in separate containers which I prefer.

Yummy always has fresh sushi, I can never compare them to ayce's slimey paper thin slices, my family loves sushi/rolls and we eat alot although we always end up spending around same money versus ayce sushi places around.

I always love their unagi/uni/salmon.

I prefer quality, especially in seafood category.

Server was amazing! Gave us a private table as she saw my husband and I were on a date, super kind, food came really fast and THE QUALITY 😮‍💨🙏🏻🫶🏻 mind blown. One of the freshest and authentic sushi and ramen that I’ve tried in SA.

Delicious. Sushi was amazing. First time I’ve ever had ramen was delish. Service was incredible. Very knowledgeable and helpful. All the food was wonderful. We came in right at an hour before closed and they were so kind and didn’t rush us. Would highly recommend.

1st time there...waiter was great.
Explained all the food choices and even the different sauces.
The food was hot, delicious and beautifully displayed.
My favorites are Bento Boxes and Tempura.
They had both and didn't leave me disappointed.

We definitely will be going back again, and again!!!

We live literally one mile from Yummi Sushi. Been there at least a dozen times plus and sometimes get sushi to go. Service is always great and the sushi is amazing. I think Yummi is the underdiscovered sushi place in San Antonio. Highly recommended!

Sushi is always super good here no matter what roll, the dragon roll was super cool looking too. Nice staff and they play “soft” instrumental versions of popular songs which is kinda cool. Good atmosphere

It's one of the best sushi restaurants I've tried in SA. Great service lovely atmosphere. We also had the springrolls & and beef Yakisoba. We didn't do the all you can eat sushi. However, I'm bringing my son back, so he will give that a try. Absolutely loved everything we had. We will definitely be back.
