Southshore Resort

We travel to Realfoot Lake every winter, and am always blown away by the welcoming friendliness of Kerry and Jo Ann. Southshore gives off a "like home" vibe, and I'll choose this place every time! Plus, the Boathouse Restaurant is on-site and has great food!

We found South Shore after the tornado last year, looking for a new place to get catfish. We knew we found our new restaurant after Lakeview was destroyed. We met the owner that day and he was so friendly that when we decided to come to Reelfoot for a mini vacation we came here. We haven’t been disappointed. We stayed 4 nights and rented a boat for 1 day. Coming to Samburg and South Shore is very much worth the short drive from the state park and Tiptonville area. It’s a quiet resort with nice, friendly staff and a beautiful view. Also has a great restaurant, The Boat House, on site! Get a map and go exploring around the area. There is a lot to see!

Amazing place. View is amazing, sunrise and sunset are magnificent over the lake filled with indigenous birds that compliment the already beautiful scenery. The cabins are incredible as well, my family stays every year for the craft fair. Rooms are nice plenty of beds, room to move, amazing food right at the restaurant fishing, boating, just an all together amazing place to stay would recommend to anyone.

Ate at the Boathouse the first time tonite. Always been a"Lakeview" customer and was so saddened by what happened. My wife passed away about a year ago and I just couldn't get interested in trying a new place. Finally did tonite , the food, service, staff were all great. Really good filets and country ham with the trimmings. I definitely will be a repeat customer. The sunset view was also fabulous

The food was fantastic, large portion size and prices were good.

The folks at Southshore resort are wonderful. My wife and I are volunteering at the Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge and they generously donated fishing rods and reels to our youth fishing rodeo. The resort is First class all the way they have very nice cabins and the boats and motors are excellent quality. You will have a great time here.

Very clean and very handy for fishing either with a guide or without. Great views of the lake from the hotel. Good restaurant and bait shop in the same parking area. The gentleman in charge was very accommodating.

Absolutely dime of a motel. Every room while it make still look very antiquated it still works and works well. The rooms are always spotless clean and it has a restaurant, game cleaning area, and boat docks across the way. You couldn't ask for much better and for the reasonable cost than this place.

Very satisfied with service and the people were very helpfull. I give this place a very excellent place to stay. Place was very clean and spacious. Will have no question about staying when I return.

Meet all the needs for a 3 day hunt. Staff kept it clean, restaurant was some great home cooking.

There for a couple of nights during duck hunting rooms were clean and staff was wonderful have rebooked for next year.
