Eagle Nest Resort Duck Hunting and Fishing

First time I've ever been to the lake of "Jumpin Stumps" @eaglenestresort !!! Beautiful comfortable resort, clean, cool rooms with everything you didn't think to bring!! The cleaning service keeps you in fresh clean towels, wash cloths and bath mats!! Excellent Service. We came in a day early and met "MeShelle".... the sweetest little blonde, though she might be light strawberry by now, very kind and outgoing! She served and hosted our weekly fish fry and did a wonderful job of keeping everyone full and happy! Most of all, she kept us laughing!!
The lady that runs the gift shop has had everything I needed and was reasonably priced!! She always had a smile and was helpful with everything I asked!!! Best Resort at ReelFoot Lake if you want to be right at the water!!!! Beautiful views of the lake, you can start here and go either way and see almost all the shoreline!!! 1st time here and this is the only place I'd ever live..... Except Home🦅💛🧡💛🦅

This was the first time staying here. We stayed in one of the trailers and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The cookout on Friday was great (my complements to the cook). The bad part of the trip was that the fishing stunk (BUT THAT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE RESORT!!) I just think this lake has been over fished. I did enjoy my stay there and so did my son. Thanks for the experience Eagle Nest employees I did have fun any way.

Stayed here last 4 years and hope next year. Staff is great. Very knowledgable of lake and area. Kay and Jan will make you comfortable and feel like family. Pool always clean. View of the lake fantastic. Take a camera for the sunsets and eagles. Best fishing lake for crappie and huge bluegill. We always come home with bags of filets. Fish cleaning station is wonderful, right on the lake and you can view the lake while cleaning.Great older era rooms and housekeeping staff fantastic.

friendly and helpful staff, the clubhouse was perfect for our large family and super clean. This was my family's second stay here and we are already making plans for a hunting trip and a trip to see the eagles. They make you feel right at home here. Amazing sunset from the deck.

Doing a small motorcycle ride and stayed here. Nice little place with 70s charm. Actually took me back to when I was a kid going on vacation with family. Cozy little room with shower and kitchenette. Wonderful friendly staff. Would like to rent a boat next time and fish. Stop here if you can.

This is a great place to go fishing. Very clean rooms and excellent customer service. If you are there at the right time you might get to enjoy the fish fry. Great food. This peaceful resort has been our home away from home for many years. Quiet evenings and busy fishing days. Love it!

I've been fishing Reelfoot Lake for about 12 years. Most of those years have been spent at Eaglenest Resort. I organize a group each April that consist of around 24 friends. Jan is always very helpful in making sure we have the most appropriate lodging. It is true that the resort is not a 5 star, glitzy posh facility. But that's the main reason we love it there. It is very homey, relaxing, comfortable and accommodating. The kitchens are well appointed with cooking utensils and cookware (I travel with most of my own anyway) . The cook outs have always been something to look forward to with great food and a chance to hear lies from new people form all over the country. The boats and motors have always been reliable. If there is a problem the guys on the dock are on top of it and will have you back fishing before you miss a bite. The cleaning station is a great place to gather more misleading information about where to fish the next morning as well as test your favorite insect repellent. But very convenient and functional.
We have stayed in just about every room category at the resort and while each one has its give and take, we have never been upset or unsatisfied. The staff are all very friendly and more than happy to see that you will be taken care of. Jan and Ron run a very nice place. It is situated perfectly so you can get anywhere on the water without spending more time with the rudder than with the rod. As well as being a couple blocks from more than one place to pick up refreshments and supplies that you may have forgotten.
We look forward to our four day get away for months in advance and can't wait to get back on that beautiful water again.

Been visiting and staying here almost every year since 1994 for family reunion at Eagles Nest Resort. It's right on the lake, behind the motel is pavilion with picnic tables. The rooms are clean and staff is polite. They even offer trailers and a couple of houses to rent for larger families or just large group of buddies taking a fishing trip. The view of the sunset on the lake is priceless.

Had our very first time at Eagle Nest the day after the 4th. What a sweet little gem of a place! Super clean and the lady working was the sweetest!!!! Great southern hospitality!! We will be back for sure!!! 😊
