Scallywags Uptown Grill

Sweet place with good sandwiches. I loved their chili. Scallywags has an old fashioned flare and we enjoyed sitting at the counter while we ate. It was fun watching them make salads and fried fish sandwiches. Delicious!

Sitting in the Square in Winchester Scallywags has been one of our favorite places to eat since moving to Winchester TN.
It has a cozy at home feel, great burgers, fish sandwich, and buffalo chicken tenders.

We are new to the area and spend a lot of time reading reviews in order to find our next new favorite local restaurant. Burgers were excellent and the chocolate pie.... The chocolate pie made us go back the very next night! Two nights in a row and now my kids think we are "regulars" 🤣Amelia took great care of us and Annette was super kind in welcoming us to her restaurant. We will be back again next weekend 😁

The burgers here were fantastic, especially for the price. Very reasonably priced and very good, with hearty portions. The fried pickles to start were definitely enjoyable, as fried pickles usually are, but they weren't quite on the same level as the burgers. The side of fries was enjoyable, but very standard fare. Would definitely come back here for the burgers alone. Great service as well!

This place really knows how to prepare a meal. Every time we go it is always the same and always hot! They stay super busy but let me tell you it is worth the wait! Great job Scallywags! We appreciate you helping with dinner some nights!

Such a great place! Between me and the rest of my party, we had burgers, fries, onion rings, ice cream, pie, and the fried hot dog sandwich. All of the food was exceptional, and very reasonably priced. Our server was very friendly and funny too.

Loved it. Inexpensive local diner. Fresh squeezed lemonade was just what I needed. Fried chicken was some of the best of our trip.

Delicious hamburger. Well done but still juicy. Yummy red tomato, crispy pickles and lettuce. Yum! Onions, mustard and mayo also available as condiments. We had tater tots as a side. They were hot and crispy with tender insides. Highly recommend a visit to Scallywag's when in Winchester on the town square.

I live in Huntsville and ran into someone from Winchester who told us about Scallywags. We drove up last week just to visit Winchester (love the area) and check out Scallywags. Awesome place! Friendly people, both staff and customers. I had the patty melt (I think that's right) and it was the best. Ten stars if I could!

Owners and the whole staff is amazing. Food is diner Food but good and consistent. Cheapest beer prices lol

Loved it! Had a hamburger steak and it was good. Friendly service terrific prices. It's kind of small get there early.

They have some of the best food around . The chilli is amazing, hamburgers and fries are the best . Only thing I’m upset about is that I don’t live as close to the restaurant anymore . Food is always fresh and on point

So good! Love the wings, hamburgers, and salads. AND Locally owned, cash only!!! Doesn’t get much better than that.

This was our first time eating here, it was great, however there is a for sale sign in the window and at the register. May want to check that they are still there before going...

The sandwiches here are great, but the real stand out are the crispy fried pickles. Make sure to bring cash, however, since credit isn't accepted.

Absolutely amazing good food, good prices, and service is awesome. Wish the hours were better but we will be going back.

Best place to get a real Cheese Burger 🍔 in Winchester, Tn. Good ice cream also.
