I recently purchased a pistol, ammunition, and a holster from Full Spectrum Tactical, and the entire experience was excellent. Bob Steele, the owner, personally assisted me and made the process smooth and straightforward. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to teach me everything I needed to know about the gun. I highly recommend Full Spectrum Tactical LLC for anyone looking to buy firearms or accessories. I'll definitely return for my future purchases and am looking forward to taking Bob's concealed carry class in the future.

I would highly recommend the basic pistol class at Full Spectrum Tactical. Bob Steele is a very knowledgeable and safety focused instructor who clearly enjoys teaching others how to safely use guns.

Initially I was nervous because I have minimal experience handling any type of gun. Bob was able to help me feel more confident by spending time in the classroom doing dry runs to learn how to safely handle and shoot guns, before going outside practicing using a loaded weapon. At the end of the day, I had not only gained valuable knowledge, but also had fun.

I really enjoyed taking the concealed carry class at Full Spectrum Tactical. Bob was an awesome instructor and extremely thorough in his teachings. I am really happy that I chose FST because it was a small intimate classroom setting that allowed me to ask plenty of questions and ensure clarity when needed. The best part of the class was having Bob’s full attention during the range portion of the class. He was very attentive and we all felt safe. Thanks for a great day.

I recently took Bob’s Defensive Pistol Class. I have taken a number of defensive pistol classes over the past few years in order to stay sharp, practice and continue to learn ways that I can combine my self defense background with defensive pistol tactics.
Bob’s class was extremely well organized, excellent drills, great instruction and micro corrections along the way and overall one of the best sessions I have attended. Great person as well. Will definitely be back for more training.

Bob has a great attitude when teaching others and incorporates a lot of positive reinforcement in his training. He values safety and provided many examples of common mistakes and how to avoid them. I appreciated how he noted three first aid equipment locations and procedures for medical scenarios which is probably something he learned from his military trainings but it was highly professional.

The class exceeded my expectations and I learned more that I was expecting to. Bob taught practical methods and provided options to continue our education after the class.

I was impressed with the preparation that Full Spectrum Tactical put into the class with demo equipment, trailer, tent, targets, and additional range officer. The communication was good from registration, follow up, lists, and Bob is very enthusiastic about his training.

We took the basic pistol course with our kids and I’m so happy we did. Bob and Shelly were so patient with their questions and really made it fun and interesting for them to learn about basic gun safety. Highly recommend for any family whether you own a gun or not. We will be taking more classes!

On May 4th I took the Women's Basic Pistol class with Bob. I had no previous experience with handling guns and they made me very nervous. Bob is a wonderful instructor and made the class very approachable. Within the first hour of the class Bob my fears had been laid to rest. My favorite exercise we did was drawing the gun from a holster. Through various drills we did over 100 pistol draws from a holster before we even went to the range. Being able to handle the weapon so many times before it was even loaded eased my nerves and increased my confidence. When we got to the range Bob taught us etiquette for the range and then taught us safety for handling a misfired gun. I have so much more to learn but I will look to Full Spectrum Tactical LLC for my future training.

I recently took a class with Full Spectrum Tactical and I was very impressed. Bob Steele always put safety first and provided in-depth training that is difficult to find elsewhere. His many years of experience, combined with his helpful and professional attitude, make him a great instructor for both new and experienced shooters. During my class, Bob was patient with all students and spent the time necessary to make sure that everyone received appropriate training. What an amazing experience! Bob is a phenomenon instructor. The patience of a saint for new and experienced shooters alike. My wife had her first ever shooting experience with full spectrum tactical and has been raving about it ever since. She says she can't wait for her next class!

I took the introductory AR class and have only great things to say about Full Spectrum.

First of all, Bob Steele (owner) taught the class. Bob is the consummate professional, knowledgeable, and patient in answering our questions. He places a great premium on safety, which is so important when you have a group of people moving about with live firearms. Bob took all the time needed to have us break the gun down so that we understood how it worked before we went out to shoot. Afterward, we cleaned the weapon and, in so doing, got to take it apart and put it back together again. In other words, not only did we learn how to shoot the gun safely, but we were taught how the gun works so we could take care of our investment appropriately. And we left the class with a clean firearm!

Our class included people with a range of skill sets, from novice to experienced, and Bob’s teaching style kept us all engaged.

I will return to Full Spectrum for more training!

If you’re looking for a very hands on and educational training Bob at Full Spectrum Tactical is the place to go! I took the NC concealed carry course and I highly recommend it to beginner and experienced shooters. Will definitely be back for more training.

To anyone looking to take a course with Mr Steele, he is one of the best teachers Ive had for firearms and very intellectual. He is super detail oriented and has an exuberant personality. When I took one of his courses recently it was very informative and structured. He laid out the groundwork from top to bottom on how to handle your firearm, In addition to this he watched each student on how they where firing and gave amazing feedback on the range. I look forward to seeing Full Spectrum Tactical LLC grow and others learning from Mr.Steele the Apex/Pinnacle of A++ firearms instruction.

Couldn’t recommend Full Spectrum Tactical LLC’s Concealed Carry Class more. Rather than typical CC classes which puts you in a classroom setting of 30+ people, this class has you in a small classroom setting where the teachings are a lot more personal and catered for you and there will always be enough time for all questions you may have. Not to mention that Bob (the instructor) keeps topics light and fun while still going through everything necessary to know which helps the class run smoothly and not drag. And obviously shooting on the range is always going to be fun. And rather than just the 30 round test, you get to put an additional 50 rounds down range before the test. Afterwards you get to clean your handgun to top it all off. When my CC Permit expires, this will definitely be the class I go back to. Thank you for all the help Bob!

Bob is an excellent instructor! I was so nervous coming into class, and had no experience. He made sure I had the information I needed in the classroom, took the time to do a ton of dry reps, and answered all questions thoughtfully before going out to the range. A few things. Bob's communication is excellent, from the minute you walk in the door it's an inviting atmosphere and Bob is super friendly. This was exactly as described with safety paramount. He explains how the firearm works, how to disassemble/assemble it, and finishing with live fire practice. The pace was great and non-stop information was taught at the layman's level. You can see Bob wants to perfect his teaching because he encourages feedback. I can go on but will close by saying I look forward to more training with Bob to bring my skill set to the next level.

Bob's course is the absolute best. I went from never shooting to feeling confident handling a firearm. I took his concealed carry course so I could safely learn how to handle a firearm, and his attention to detail and the time he takes to go over everything in his course really made a difference. I feel confident now handling a firearm for my personal safety because of Bob. I would recommend his course to everyone.

My wife and I are extreme novices at looking at guns, let alone holding one. Our closest experience was seeing them on TV and in the movies. We did not feel comfortable just going and buying guns, nor did we even know which questions to ask. so we decided to get some formal training before even purchasing. We did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. Full Spectrum Tactical kept popping up and also the reviews were outstanding. They have a great website that spells it out for you and the communication was just great. Bob Steele, who is the owner was responsive, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable. The entire vibe of the class and training was that because we are novices there is nothing to fear.

So we schedule two classes. We scheduled the Basic Pistol 4-hour Class and the 8-hour Concealed Carry Handgun.

The 4-hour class was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The class was informative, taught extremely well, and answered all of our questions. There were no wrong questions as it was all about being safe and smart. Bob knew my wife signed up so he even had his wife attend the 4-hour class to make her feel comfortable as well, especially in the shooting portion.

The 8-hour class was just as great and taught us about the law side, proper safety as well as hands-on. We did not have pistols, but Full Spectrum Tactical has that covered. They will rent you the gear you need except Hearing and Ear protection, as that is something you should have for yourself if you are going to be practicing.

They are also a licensed dealer (hope I'm saying that correctly) so if you don't feel comfortable going to a gun shop, which we didn't feel comfortable but did go anyway to one and it wasn't anywhere near the level of attention with Bob. Bob will sit with you to understand what you are looking for and get you all set. It was a great experience and I can certainly say for us not knowing anything we got lucky with meeting Bob Steele and his wife Shelley.

When we left the two days of classes there is no question we both felt better about being around guns, holding guns, etc. As a side note, we are now able to watch movies and pick out all the wrong and unsafe things they do. It's funny because until you know, you don't know to be able to pick out unsafe things. They also offer additional training classes for which we will be signing up for. Sorry for running on but again great experience. They deserve a great review.

Excellent instructor. Highly recommend this course. I was completely new to handling a pistol. Wanted to learn the basics in a safe environment. This is the place to go to learn to protect yourself and family in today’s world.
Will be returning to learn more. Instructor was thorough but patient. I left feeling more confident handling my pistol.

Me and my wife took Bob’s Conceal Carry class today. Bob did a fantastic job and was very safety centered. Both me and my wife both left this course with better habits both in our gun safety practices and shooting technique. I 100% recommend Bob’s course. You will come away with a ton of great information and have a great time learning!

The Full Spectrum Tactical class exceeded my expectations! I took this class with my husband and was very intimidated about the idea of using a firearm and had minimal experience coming into the class. My goal was to leave with knowledge and comfort and that’s exactly what happened. Bob is an amazing instructor! He is so knowledgeable and the way he taught our class was exactly what I needed. He went through each step with detail that I was able to understand and answered all of my questions. He took his time making sure that I was doing each step correctly and that I felt confident with the skill that was being taught. The atmosphere of the class was relaxed. I feel like the information given covered everything that I needed to know to be a safe and responsible handler. I would highly recommend this class to anyone regardless of skill level. My goals were met and I left the class with confidence and comfort. I can’t thank Bob enough for this awesome class!
