The water splash park would keep the kids occupied and the playground beside is a plus. Minus point The restroom was a lil dirty as there were many people. Our kids had great fun! There's a dog park as well.
Best to go, Sunday morning

Fun family park!! The splash pad is great, not slippery. Clean and the whole park is taken care of! Great place for toddlers and all ages!

This place is legit for kids (mine are toddlers). The splash pad is great, the playground is well kept, and the climbing wall is cool too. Plus, there are a few fields and a flower garden, which are really nice. There is some shade, but it can get warm on hot days. Bring water.

Nice playground with rock wall, swings, slides and climbing ropes. Splash pad was nice on a hot day. Dog park next door and plenty of walking trail.

What a great park! A variety of things to do here. We love visiting at all times of the year. During the summer, they have a great splash pad. Multiple play areas, swings, a rock wall. There is one main shelter and various tables with some shade. There is a walking trail and a dog park. Bathrooms are close to the splash pad and shelter.

The whirligigs are pretty cool to look at too. The park is well kept but it can get busy and hot on the summer weekends. Bring drinking water.

As a reminder, this park is not exempt from thieves, so be sure to lock valuables out of site and lock your car!

Nice dog park. Entrance to dog play area has a double gate through an antechamber for safety.

This park is beautiful! If you love scenic views, like I do, the tall trees surrounding the Splash pad in the later afternoon will have you smiling. The splashing devices are super fun for the kiddos also. One of them dumps buckets of water periodically, another is a long shot water gun....if it is over 100 degrees, you may want to throw off your "adult" limitations and jump in there with your kiddos. You will not regret this. I speak from experience.

It is a fun place to go to. I would suggest going with little kids. The big water bucket was definitely a 10/10. There are swings and slides next to the water park. I wouldnt say that the bathrooms were too clean but yea!

This is a great little splash park to bring the kids to on a warm summer day. Always seems to have a good number of kid there to make playing more fun. They also have a rock climbing wall, 2 play spaces in addition to the splashground. Walking paths, and towards the beginning of the park is a separate dog park that is fenced in.

Fun and well organized. Come here in a hot summer day and let the kids play in the water. There is shade for parents who just want to sit and to watch as well. They also feature rock climbing and a regular playground - I haven't seen the back area but there is more space there.

Family friendly, community oriented, fun in the sun place to spend the day! Wish there was more tables because this place gets CROWDED but it's all worth it and fun for everyone!

We love the water park here. My little one is 1 1/2 and she loves the water park, she is able to play safely. Other small kids also go and the big kids are good at not running them over.

Some friends were doing a going away gathering before moving so we met them here to enjoy an afternoon at the splash pad. The kids enjoyed the splash pad as well as all the playground equipment. Both our 9 and 6 year olds had a great time. They're a little light on swing availability so be prepared to wait for those if you've got a little one that loves to swing. Plenty of splash pad area though and bathrooms there to change as needed. Do be careful if you're walking through the grass down below the playground, it gets fairly muddy.

I have been going here for some time. Wonderful people and wonderful dogs. It is a safe and friendly place (my happy place) to spend time with your dogs.

I brought my 6 year old and 4 year old here for the first time and they loved it. The splash pad is big enough for lots of kids to play and there is plenty of shade for the parents. The playground is lots of fun by itself, even if you don't do the splash pad. If your child loves climbing, this is a great playground. There's lots of climbing equipment and even a rock wall for bouldering. The ground is the squishy kind so kids won't get hurt. There's a big field for kids to run in too.

Great splash pad! Very clean and fun for all ages. The playground isn’t very shaded. The slides were way too hot for my 17 month to go down but will be fun to go to in the months that aren’t 90+°

Little sibling rated this a 99.9% out of 100%! We thoroughly enjoyed this park and will be back for more! I don’t know what people are saying about having to be 12 or older to get in the park…so not true. A great place for people of all ages, even saw a bunch of parents and family members playing in the water which made me happy! Love this park and no bad things to say.

Jack Smith Park and Sprayground is the place to be in Cary during the summertime. If you have a hot, humid day, bring your kids to the Sprayground to cool off.

There are plenty of shady spots for parents to chill, a rock climbing area for older kids, and a playground for kids that may not like the water. There's also an easily accessible restroom right beside the Sprayground.

The best part about the splash pad is that they reclaim and recycle water, so there is little to no waste of water at this park.

This park was a wonderful place to spend a beautiful afternoon with our grandson. He loved all the climbing equipment. We enjoyed the picnic area as well as the playground. The whirligigs were a great added attraction and I enjoyed reading the history of Vallis Simpson (I hope I have his name correct).
