This is a great park. There’s a fantastic playground area with equipment for big and little kids. There are soccer fields and baseball fields. The restrooms are clean. There’s direct access to the American Tobacco Trail. There’s plenty of parking. I really enjoy this park!

Nice little out of the way park with plenty of bike and running trails I just ran my first 5K post Organ transplant a few weeks ago.

My sons youth football team has used this park on Saturdays and Sundays for workouts. The place is always clean and my kids love to go out there and just run around and play.

Right next to the American Tabacco Trail. Big enough to spend an hour and go to a walk or ride your scooter. There are table for snack or grilling. I don't recommend it after a rainy day.

I am not too sure about the park, but I had to use the bathroom early in the morning and the bathroom was open and clean and was a lifesaver!

This is a wonderful park for families. The kids' games are joyful, and the playground for the kids to play is very nice. I thoroughly enjoy watching my granddaughter she is 4 years old

A good place to stop along the American Tobacco Trail. They've reworked the restrooms and the water fountains; the latter includes a convenient place to fill one's water bottle. The grounds are good, if you're interested in watching some little league, not a bad place to visit.

Excellent park for fields and baseball and batting with an old but usable bathroom and water fountains. Great access to tobacco trail but very poor shade everywhere like the kids playground.

Nice park. It has a playground, shelter, baseball fields, and trails.

This city park in South Durham is a great place to enjoy a Little League baseball game or access the American Tobacco Trail for a walk or ride. Water and restrooms available.

One of our favorite playgrounds. It hits so many of the "must haves" and includes many more bonus features.

This playground is great because it:
- has easy access to water and restrooms
- has big kids and little kids play equipment
- has multiple shady areas for hot NC Summers
- has lots of spots for caregivers to sit
- has loads of close and easy parking

This playground is AWESOME because it:
- is actually a Durham City Park with soccer and baseball fields you can play on and reserve
- has a picnic shelter with a grill which is, again, reservable
- has lots of sidewalls curling around the park for little walks
- is immediately adjacent to the American Tobacco Trail

Visit this playground! You will not regret it.

I park here often when riding my bike on the American Tobacco Trail. Very nice baseball and soccer fields, excellent restroom facilities. Always feel safe while here.

They have multiple soccer fields, a baseball field, and a nice playground for kids (with swings)!

Nice public park with multiple types of well maintained fields. The restrooms are clean and a the water fountain includes a bottle filler. The are limited viewing stands, and plenty space for people to bring their own chairs, etc. Local & regional rec leagues use the park for instruction, competition and practice. Well lit, safe parking, and it connects to the American Tobacco Trail.

This is a great park. Very large and spacious. There is a nice playground for both little and bigger kids. There are multiple baseball and soccer fields. There is also an artificial turf field. Easy access to tobacco trail entrance.

Nice turf for soccer pickup. Restrooms fairly clean. Plenty parking spaces for everyone. Overall, I enjoy coming to play here.

I love Herndon Park. It's right off the ATT, so it's a good pit stop during runs or long walks. The amenities are always in good working order and the drinking fountains refrigerate the water. Great when you need some cold water!
