Macy's

Huge selection at this Macy’s. I was looking for a long fancy dress and a short one. The long dress in the prom section was super cheap. Only $69 (it was plain without any sequins or silk). There were so many options for what I needed. They also have Macy’s backstage which had good options but not as good quality. They had all of the departments of a normal Macy’s and it was clean. They had a lot of fitting rooms and they were also clean when I went in. The checkout process was quick and there were enough associates that people didn’t need to wait for more than 2 minutes at the time I was there. Would definitely recommend!

There are also a lot of stores in the mall itself if you don’t find what you’re looking for here.

We had a great experience shopping for a mattress, so much so that we didn't go to our second choice store to look at what they had available. Our salesman was so knowledgeable and low pressure, and the sale prices were so competitive with the other mattress discount place that we felt we got a great deal. Macy's delivery terms and trial guarantees are also better than competing stores.

Customer service girl Bridgette in pick up area went out of her way for me. I wanted an item that required me to walk all the way to the elevator. I am disabled and on oxygen. She told me to sit down and she went to get the item for me. She is an asset to the Southpoint store in Durham.
The store manager should be proud of her.

Today was so lovely inside this department store. Barbara helped us find the perfect watch for my boyfriend. Fattemah was the best in helping us find the fragrance Sauvage by Johnny Depp perfect scent that he so much fell in love with. Angie at the Makeup Counter was a true Gem, she gave me a makeiver that I ultimately love and it is still staying on as of now while I typel in fact that type. Macy's at Southpoint you guys out fid yourselves.

Not a bad experience here it's always busy so be prepared but all and all I like this location and the staff is very helpful when you need them for anything whatsoever I would recommend and also come back to shop again they also have so many thing to choose from definitely can spend a quick 2 grand in here without paying attention

Went there to buy a replacement toaster oven. I had already put it in my cart so knew they had them in stock. They weren’t able to find one so Raiyatta stepped in and went searching. She wasn’t able to find one but she assisted us in ordering one to be shipped to our home. Her customer service as well as the older woman at the cash register was awesome. It is always a pleasure shopping in this Macy’s. There are several closer to me but I choose to travel the longer distance to get to this one.

If you need to buy a mattress & box springs, the only way to know what you're getting is to lie down on them! Macy's furniture & bedding section is in one corner of the second floor, and Greg Stumpo is one of the best sales people I've ever worked with. He's been in the bedding business for over 20 years and knows his stuff. You'll get no high pressure sales pitches from him. His in-person attention to your needs and professionalism are really welcome in this point-and-click age.

Macy's was the only store I visited during my trip to Southpoint Mall in Durham, NC. Lots to look at in Macy's and found a few fantastic buys!

Went here to find some pillows and the young lady who waited on us was very patient and helped us find what we were looking for on the website because it was not stocked in the store.

What a savings and great sale. Had a $50 gift card and was able to purchase 2 pairs of earrings, a blouse and legging, it was a great day to shop. Every time I visit this Macy's I always leave satisfied,. Macy's is my favorite store and they never let me down. Keep up the great work

It was great. I went to buy cologne which i normally do every 6 months. The customer service was great. Just didn't understand why the black cashier/ sale rep., was the only one willing to speak or ask if i needed help. Oh well i spent over 500. But all in all i had a great time and will go back.

Bright and clean with wide walking areas. Does feel crowded or jammed together. Found very welcoming for shoppers or those just looking.

If you want your children to have a memory of what a department store was, the time to take them is now. The entire back quarter of what used to be a quite dignified and upscale store is now a Big Lots. The flooring on the outside of the bathrooms looks more like a federal prison than a Suburban Mall. It is the summer of 2022 and I do not believe that there will be a Macy's in the summer of 2024. Get it while you can and take pictures.

I came to Macy's today only to buy certain makeup products and was assisted by a very professional, patient, and sweet young lady named Tamia. She even sat down with me and helped me with my makeup and gave me some tips to try at home. She was wonderful! Thanks so much for your patience and hard work! You're awesome! Stores and shops need more friendlier associates like you!! 👏👏🙏🙏

I went to this Macy's today to pick up a suit. I was really impressed by the level of attention I received from a sales associate. I learned she doesn't receive commission for her work, so I wanted to write this review to give them some acknowledgement. Thelma, thank you for your excellent customer service and attention to detail!

Greg our furniture salesman was wonderful. He was very informative, personable, and patient with our many questions. He made our purchase a most pleasurable. He anticipated our needs and questions. He was terrific. We will definitely go back to him for our future furniture needs.

Travis took SUCH good care of us!! He helped finding sizes, checked up on us, & checked us out at the register. He went the extra mile for us today & we really appreciated him. We usually don't shop at Macy's, but we will be coming back because of him!! He deserves a raise. Thank you Macy's for having such an awesome employee!
