The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center

I happen to love these secondhand stores, I'm a collector of unique hats and printed T-shirts and its easy to find something unique here from time to time!! This particular store is located way in the back corner of Akers center. This isn't the largest of these types of stores, they do have a good bit of second hand furniture, shoes and clothes. They keep this store super clean and neat. You just got to get lucky on the right day and right time to find your personal treasures!!!!!

Excellent store. The furniture selection is quite good, and they have many selections for clothings. The people are very friendly, and the ambience is excellent. Price is excellent.

Lots of parking space available close to the store.

I love going in the store! I always find some kind of treasure. The staff is always friendly & helpful if I have a question. It is always a good experience. And the prices are fair, plus they have sales which is even better!! And I enjoy knowing that it’s all to help people in our community.

I never leave this store without buying something! All furniture was 40% off today, so I left with an ottoman and a china cabinet! Amazing pieces, amazing prices!

I really love this store, BUT it turns my stomach when the same customer shows up, time and time again and claims to be Helping the workers unload the carts of merchandise as he is actually picking thru the carts, and the store manager allows this. I'll help you put the stuff on the shelf, but I'm picking up all the good stuff before the other customers can ever see it. Disgusting and I'm not going back. The Resale Pickers need to stop and be fair because this is ridiculous and the store allows it. Seen it happen over n over.

It was a big WOW when I walked in the door that was already open,made me feel welcome,everything is so organized like I like things,the owner is nice and friendly and do are the employees, this is my second time going in and I enjoyed showing there I told them I was going to bring them some customer's. I've donated but never shoped there till Friday and the experience was a happy one and I recommend you go there for yourself to see.thank you guys for what you do and know that your appreciated.

I've stayed away from Salvation army for a long time. I didn't like the smell or disorganization. I was so surprised at this store. Smells good, good variety, organized and the prices are better than goodwill. Give them a try again. I'm going to more Salvation Army stores from now on.

Interesting items of all kinds. Sometimes find some good deals on furniture. Purchasing here also helps support a good charitable organization in our local community. Staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend checking here if you are looking for things and are looking to save some money.

They have the best prices. Very nice people that work there, very clean place, lota of great deals and finds, I score each week. Just scored a pair of leather ugg boots for 10 bucks,well over 300 buck for them, love that place, my Wednesday day shopping deals

Love going there always finding great deals and at this location on Wednesday's there clothes are 1/2 off. Found some American Eagle pants for 4.99 but went on Wednesday and they were $2.50 you can't beat those prices.

While I felt like the prices were a bit on the high side, the staff was exceptional (professionalism/ courteous). We will Definitely revisit

The Salvation Army store on Wednesdays give 50% off all clothing. A lot of their clothing comes straight from retail stores and it's brand new. Just shop and you'll find it . good luck looking for your size .

Super friendly associates, and great prices on clothing for a great cause. I found some great pants! That was my goal so today was a win. ☺

Super clean, very nice cashier and quick check out. Every wed you get half off clothes, and by the way, everything is already super low prices.
