Torrid

Edit: I recently visit Torrid on October 2,2023 to pick up my order and it was a better experience. Michelle and Nadeen were very helpful and funny. Keep up the good work.

I went to pick up an order on Wednesday, May 10 and I love the store associates they are very nice shout out to Nikki I’m assuming she’s one of the managers she is always helpful and Anna and Kylie who helped me pick up my order. The reason why I’m giving a low rating is because the manager Michelle is very rude and sarcastic and this is my second encounter with her. I was looking at leggings, and Kylie looked in the back for my size didn’t end up having it so I looked at other leggings options and I asked her. Do you think I can fit a 00. Torrid sizes run on the plus size and some stuff you can drop in size. Michelle was at the window with one of the mannequins and shout across the store very sarcastically and rude and said honey, what is your size in pants? I said a size 3 and she said then you are a size 3 because if you get a double zero, your body will not look good in it it will be see-through and it will not be a good look. I think the girl at the register was taken back by the comment and I was offended by it and this is not my first interaction with her. A few months ago I came in to pick my order and I asked her one question about a sale and she was very rude about it and she proceeded to help another customer who was in the back trying on bras. I spend a lot of money in the store and I love that atmosphere and this is the only location close to me besides going to Cary I did leave a survey about my experience with her. And looking at other reviews I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels the same way about her.

I just want to leave a review expressing my extreme gratitude and thankfulness for the employees in the store today. I started having an episode with my blood sugar; and the manager brought me water and all sorts of snacks to help me bring my sugar back up, and offered to let me sit in a fitting room with the fan on. I sat in there for a good while near the shoes, and the manager came around several times to see if I was okay, and the other employee asked if I was ok as I was checking out and told me I could stay as long as I needed. It made me feel like they care about me as a person, and not just a customer. I can’t wait to be back here shopping again! 💖💖

They are a bit pricey, but they tend to have lots of sales/deals. They have the most expensive, but best jeans I have ever had. The bombshell jeans are perfect and I have had them about a year and they still have not worn down on the inner thigh area. I was helped by Liz and another super cute young lady with curly hair (4 names on the receipt, but it may be Alex since her name was next to Liz's name). They were both helpful, thoughtful and engaging without being pushy. They took the time to help me make a decision when I was being very indecisive.

Overall, this is an awesome location with an awesome team. I have had great service every time I have been there. You will not be disappointed.

Really love this store. They have fashionable clothes for mid to plus sized women, and the styles run from casual to office appropriate, and beyond. The staff here has always been friendly, and the in store selection is pretty good. I just wish they would carry some of the licensed products in the store. And they do need more products for tall women. Being limited to 9 pairs of pants (online) instead of the 100s offered really sucks.

Went in today to try stuff on and received the most wonderful service from Michelle. She helped measure me for my bra size, gave me all the choices of bras in the store in various sizes, gave me super helpful advice. The entire time I was there, she was running around, helping customers. All too often as a plus size woman, clothes shopping can be a horrific experience, but this store and employees like Michelle are phenomenal. They make shopping for clothes fun again!

This store had the widest selection of clothes I've ever seen in a Torrid store. Some of the ladies were fantastic at helping me find what I was looking for, while others were extremely confused. I think they were newer employees, though, so that happens. :) Overall, it was a great experience and I left with a lot of cute things.

I walk into this plus sized woman's store off my sister's recommendation to be blown away by the kindness of Michelle and Dereka. I recently transitioned and have been so lost with so many stores making me feel uncomfortable. Michelle took her time helping me size correctly not only my clothes but my bras. I cannot state enough how kind and helpful both her and Dereka were in helping me acquire a new wardrobe. If you are a plus size woman, do yourself a favor and shop here. The selection is amazing and trendy and the help you get is outstanding. I would highly recommend any transitioning transgender woman to shop here as you are welcomed and helped tremendously.

Fantastic! A brand new clothing line of beautiful professional outfits and sorted pieces. Gorgeous designs and colors. Love their bras. Great customer service. Love, love, love, Torrid!

I placed a pick up order at the store 2 hours before they were supposed to close as I was going on a last minute trip and leaving suuuper early the next morning. The staff working that night was incredible! I called them and asked if there was any way I can get my stuff before they close and they were more than willing to help me. Apparently it takes about an hr for an order to process and for the store to receive it... but Amy (i think that was her name) went above and beyond to start gathering my items before they even received it. I gave her the order number and sku numbers over the phone and they were right on it. I walked in at 6:45 (they close at 7) and they were asking me if I wanted a fitting room, etc. even though they closed in 15 min. And then they wished me good luck on my trip! I love this location. I will definitely be doing more pick up orders from here.

My first time shopping here and I just absolutely have to give a shout-out to Alex, Nicki, & Desire! I am truly a difficult person when it comes to shopping. They just took control and got me what I needed without me even knowing that I needed it. LOL! They were absolutely AMAZIIIIING! They made what is usually an extremely overwhelming experience for me, a total breeze!! Thank you, ladies!!

Visited Torrid today just trying to spend some of my Torrid cash and had my life changed by the incredible Nikki who took the time to measure my waist and bust correctly for the first time ever so she could tell me my true bra size. Nikki is knowledgable, thoroughly helpful, and just all around amazing! I had to pop on here to give her a shoutout. Also, she recommended a bralette for me that ROCKS. Can't wait to visit again.

These ladies are amazing. They make you feel right at home. Honest opinions no judgements. They will help you add one piece or revamp a new a whole new wardrobe.

Friendly staff and great selection. First place where I didn't feel awkward about having gained weight during the pandemic, and could talk w the staff about clothing fit with no judgement.

Great clothes at excellent prices, with unparalleled service. It's always an enjoyable shopping experience, and their rewards program is one of the best I've ever seen!

Torrid is my go to store for clothes. The staff are wonderful! They will reserve you a dressing room and help you to find whatever you are looking for.
