Family owned. Awesome food. Awesome prices. I think they may have went up a little. The picture of Bobby matches him exactly! Sometimes you will see his kids at the window and he definitely is on his kids and does his best to raise them right (I have seen where perhaps a young one wasn't excited to be there and he straightened them up real quick). Food has a great smoked taste and the price and quantity are cool. It was on $5 when I went but they have gone up a little, which is still cool. I really would like them to have a food truck that operates the way that an ice cream truck would...just going through the neighborhoods selling plates. Also Valdosta is a college town, so I believe they recently started accepting the college food debit (I don't know what it's really called, it's been a while since I have been at anyone's University but I think that is pretty cool too. You will often see the wife on site who is very humble, downtown to earth and just an all around good people. I am so glad they are in this community and really set a good example.

The rib and chicken platter was great. They had a nice dry rub smoke flavor that can stand on their own. While I thought the the dual barbecue sauce made a great appearance it wasn't necessary. I went with green beans and mac n cheese for my sides. The beans were prepared nicely and not too salty and the mac n cheese was smooth and creamy. Looking forward to my next visit.

My wife and I stopped here on a road trip a few years ago. Just by chance when we stopped to refuel. Everything was so delicious. We turned around and went back for another plate to take with us for later. If that isn't telling enough. We also stopped on our way back to Florida at the end of our road trip. Aaaaand we have even talked some friends into taking a trip from Ocala Florida to Georgia for lunch at Mr. Bobbyque!!! Can't wait to come back.

The BBQ here is delicious and sides are an added compliment. The price is right; you can't go wrong. I guarantee you that once you go, you'll keep going because it's just that good. My father is even hooked and he has always just eaten his BBQ from one place for years.

Ordered the extra rib plate. Absolutely awesome, ribs are meaty not dry, seasoned well with copious sauce, sides are seasoned well and tasty. Cornbread was sweet and moist. Great job!!!!

Came here yesterday and got four oxtail plates which was on point and came back today and got a Ribtip plate, chicken and shrimp salads which are also great. The prices are great for the quality of food that you get, will continue to come by here when we are in town

I was visiting my son from Texas, and bought the rib plate togo. The cornbread, green beans, potato salad and ribs were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The sauce was good too. 😉

This place never claims to be the best but they feed you for less than any other restaurant serving comfort food. The price is unbelievable and very affordable

Great BBQ for the price...choice plates with sides for a great price. I haven't found a better place. Definitely top of my choices for a quality meal that's budget-friendly.

I had got two rib tips plates with fries,it was amazing and the sauce with the light bread it reminded me of Mitchell's BBQ back in the day...Great job keep up the good work.
