Rock Mill Park

Beautiful and shaded. Lots of room for walking, jogging and for bike riders. The path does not wind back to where you park your car if you drive there. You will need to plan on walking back if you decide to walk all the way to the YMCA at the end of the path.

Great place to get onto the Greenway in John's Creek. Access to a lengthy portion of it is found here with lots of beautiful and well maintained paths. Highly recommend for walks biking or running

This Park is a good entrance to the Big Creek Greenway. It has sufficient parking spaces, clean restrooms, and is dog friendly. No playground but has excellent paved trails for walking, skating, and biking.

A nice park with access to trails. I visited during lunch break on a Friday. There were a few people walking or running, it was nice to see the park being utilized. They have a little free library, a "play me" piano under the gazebo, water fountain, dog water station, and bathrooms. There are also some benches around the short paved area. This seems like a nice little park to pick up the trails.

What can I say, this park is blooming with life! I love when the warmer weather starts to show these beautiful array of flowers! Lots of junipers and pine trees, maple trees around the area! If your looking for just a bliss day soaking up some ☀ and wanting to explore nature, then you will absolutely love talking a long stroll here! And just feeling Gaia and her beautiful Schumann resonance! Great minds think alike. And it's definitely a good place to clear your head. Super cool long mile walk area where u can walk, jog or even ride bike within the forest area. The entire walkway is paved and a pretty big loop too. There are almost 4 to 5 Park connected within this loop which include big creek park as well. This is the greenbelt area and u can pretty much find deers for sure during your visit and owls too. I saw them during my first visit to this park. No vehicle noise or much public during your long walk. There are lots of benches on the way if u wanna sit and relax for some time. Only thing is u don't actually feel like hiking in first as the path is fully paved but u can definitely enjoy the quietness.

nice park. would definitely visit in the summer. i believe with all the trees full of green leaves the park will become more beautiful.

Rock mill park is a small but endearing place to spend your weekend. It feels like a hidden nook in the city of Alpharetta and it has plenty of seating and other amenities (clean bathrooms, water fountains, shade and shelter, and free parking) that make it worth visiting. Most notably, it’s connected to the Alpharetta greenway (a concrete-paved nature trail that is 8+ miles long and surrounded by trees and wildlife). If you’re an abuse biker and like biking in the middle of a pretty forest but don’t want to be too far from civilization, this is the park and trail for you. Additionally there are some really nice flowers planted at the park with signs explaining what they are! Spent a great afternoon here with a friend and planning to go back when the weather is nice again.

Very scenic and relaxing. There are walkers, runners, and bikers there. You feel really safe. I walked today with my dog it was awesome. Here is a side view and path view.

Nice trail system on a beautiful day. There is some nice features here. Bathroom, a couple pavilions amphitheater and educational things.

Well maintained bathrooms, water fountains, trail maps, easy and ample parking, benches, and excellent trails.

Beautiful Fall colors! Nice greenway to walk , bike, run, skate. Kids, dogs and grownups all love it!

Lots of trails and plenty of options for different scenery. We saw a deer and a beautiful large flower growing on the trail. A few areas were very flooded so we had to turn around at those points.

Good suburban park that connects to the greenway. It is a great place to walk or start a bike ride down the greenway. It also has multiple covered tables for public use.

Long walks, meditation never-ending loop. Well kept beautiful.

Urban forest trail! Lovely place for a walk or hike

Alpharetta really did a great job with this park. Lots of parking as it's a great place to start a ride. Part of the Greenway so easy to get to other parks. Very calming and inviting area, great to hang a hammock and read a book or get out for a walk in the woods. Highly recommend!
