John's Creek Ace Hardware

Great experience with this team helping me pick out paint type for my living room. I went from a grey to a vibrant green teal. Initially the color match was not correct. But the team fixed it right away. Thank you to Richard, his brother and the team.

Not only do they fully stock all the hardware and tools you need, but they feature a beautiful selection of stylish, unique and lovely gifts! Jan and Richard are helpful and accommodating. They create a fun atmosphere and a great shopping experience. It's always a joy to visit their awesome store!

Ace is the place to go if you're in Johns Creek! Always great and friendly service! During the pandemic, it was a great place to shop as it felt like an escape from the crazies around here that were wearing their masks alone in their cars. I appreciate that they aren't sheep like other people on Google that have left reviews for this business.

My neighbors recommended this store to me to get my lawnmower serviced. Not only did they do a great job but they also have a pickup and delivery service which is very helpful for me. This store turned out to have a very friendly staff so I am now one of their customers!

I had 8 frames I needed glass cut for, and this is no small task. However, Ryan made it look easy as he cut them perfectly. He was very helpful and very friendly. This is a well run Ace. Thanks Again Ryan!

My family and I have been coming to this Ace since when they were originally across State Bridge Road. When we talk about a small family-owned business, this ACE is the perfect example. Exemplary service, phenomenal staff, and a wide array of products. Their commitment to serving this community is what makes this business so valuable to Johns Creek. It is a shame there are individuals in this community who feel the need to tear down a local family-owned business, attack their values, and slander their reputation, especially when that poorly reflects the truth.

My family loves our local ACE, and we will continue to support them as we always have.

l just want to thank Jan for assisting me in resolving my issue. The staff is so helpful. This is really a beautiful hardware store and puts Home Depot and Lowes to shame. Next time you need something check them out.

This store is best one of ACE Hardware stores. Better than Home Depot even! I walked in to make new auto keys cutting. All staffs are very nice and said welcome. The locksmith is so professional and copied the keys quickly. He followed me to make sure keys is working right. Perfect service! Thanks All of you !

144 days ago was when I got my key copied.

I was getting ridiculous price quotes to copy a key. This one grumpy locksmith quoted me $150, another one said $75 but it really sounded like he didn't want to do the job and I was wasting his time inquiring about it.

Why not use those machines you see at Walmart to copy keys? I did my research on them and the cons outweigh the pros. For starters, you need exact change. You would think a machine is able to dispense change. Another complaint is that sometimes the keys come out wrong even if you select the right make and model. If the key doesn't come out right oh well. It doesn't care. Clark Howard would avoid these.

Someone on the internet recommended Ace for key copies. The service is not available at all Ace Hardware locations. I called and inquired about the price, my specific standard nonchip key was $2.

It's been 18972 miles since I got my key copied.

Upon arriving here I received friendly service and they made sure that the key fit my car after they were done copying it. I got it copied twice and both keys worked.

I was still skeptical about the keys, I mean $2 when locksmiths were yelling at me different prices. But it all comes down to the metal. It is a simple process. So, I decided to go hardcore. 144 days is the limit I would give. The first 72 days I will use one key and then the final 72 I will use the other*. I like to put it to the test before writing reviews on essential items.

It has been 4months and 24 days since I came here so I forgot the names of the pleasant trio of guys who gave me great service. I still remember the friendly conversations and lil jokes they pull on each other. Just a friendly bunch of dudes who take care of the customer. Definitely come here if you need your keys copied. They do a great job!

*"But which side of the key did you use the most?" That I cannot tell you. I didn't bother to go in that much detail.... using 36 days for each side of the key... maybe put a red mark on one side so I will know?

Nonetheless, the keys were also in my gym bag and believe me they got tossed/tumbled/slammed while in there. These keys are still intact and show jo signs of weakness even while in the suffocating chamber with my socks.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received! I went in with a damaged electrical tool that was locked up with a sheared off screw i couldn't remove. I had exhausted all my options and Ryan went above & beyond to remove the screw find the parts and help me. All that for a mealy 50 cents..I can't reconnect them enough

I've shopped at this Ace Hardware for the 18 years we have lived here in Johns Creek. Every time I've stopped in for either a planned project or when stopped dead middle of a project for need of the right tool or hardware I have received excellent service. Excellent. Their staff is trained to be helpful and if you need to get in and out quick they'll help you find the exact right threaded bolt or whatever insane thing. I mean I'll say to myself "I'll try Ace and if they don't have it I'll go to Home Depot" and only once or twice did I ever need to head on to Home Depot - like to rent a wood chipper and you can't even rent those at Home Depot anymore. Highly recommend!!! Over 18 years to have incredibly consistent excellent service and staff and product? Unheard of!!!

This has been my local hardware store for the past two years, as it’s closest from my house. I also like that Ace Hardwares are franchise owned/run by families. I’m usually finding myself driving here in the middle of projects where I’m missing one or two tools or equipment. Owners and staff are always really nice: courteous, helpful, and always make good recommendations and help you save money. I also like seeing their dogs around the shop every now and then.

Absolutely LOVE this store! I so appreciate the owner’s willingness to stand up for his beliefs & standards, without caving to the insane demands of our current population. Way to represent Real America, the one that everyone seems to be trying to erase! I will make it a point to bypass all the other Big stores & drive the extra 10 miles to give this Johns Creek Ace location my business. I will also encourage all of my friends, family & coworkers to do the same!

A true neighborhood hardware store- walk in and ask any store member if they have something and they immediately tell you what aisle and how far down, and take you there without having to check an app on their phone first! Stop here before you go anywhere else especially if you need something for your Green Egg or Traeger, or even a birthday present for a kids birthday party. Their pricing isn't out of line with the mega stores either. They have excellent paint and lawn equipment, and most other things but will order anything for you that you want if they don't carry it in-store.

One of the best hardware stores I've been in (and I support many in my line of work) with a lively staff who are always willing to help and engage the customer. This store has great vision/foresight and I have noticed that they are ALWAYS the ones willing to take the risks other small businesses are not when it comes to stocking essential items. If you want to go to a store where you can engage with the employees and share a laugh, this is the store to come to. Nothing but class, character and willingness to help in my 10+ years shopping here. Don't forget who stayed open and risked their own safety to provide for the community they have already given so much to.

Not only the greatest Ace I’ve ever been to, the greatest hardware store I’ve ever visited, and it’s not even close. The attention to detail in this place is extreme. From the hand-picked gift area, to the grill selection and services, to the indoor cabin setup in back of the store, this Ace is half store-half theme park. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The addition of a couple dogs on site is also a bonus. Be sure to say hi to Flat Coat Retriever, Forrest who works at the front register.

The store is clean, fantastically laid out, and they offer curbside pickup, a huge bonus these days.

Couldn’t be happier to have this great family business in our backyard.

Shop small, support local!

Love going to this store. It's so nice to have competent people in a hardware store who actually have knowledge of the products they sell. I'm very disappointed that google automatically applies the mask filter to the reviews for this small business. It's clear that the local chapter of Karens got a burr in the saddle of their moral high horse about a year ago and decided to try to damage this business. I'm proud of the owner for standing up to them.
