Once Upon A Child - Orange Park/Jacksonville

I’ve been in a few times in the past to browse and sell clothes and the staff were not very helpful, however I had a great experience today thanks to Bri! She hooked me right up as a new mom, gave me the whole run down of the place and was so kind! She made me feel like we had known each other for years, such a great lady, thank you for all your help!

The customer service at this location was amazing. Bri definitely has a great spirit and passion for helping people. I was able to get in an out with a basket full without breaking the bank. Love this place.

This is a great place to buy kids clothes! You really can’t beat the prices. I went in earlier today with my daughter in her car seat hoping to place it in a cart and walk around. There were no available carts and the woman working there let me use one of their strollers they were selling. I thought that was really nice of her.

I'm cracking up going through the reviews of this place. Everyone is upset they don't buy their used clothes 😂 first of all this place is packed to bursting. They have more than enough and if they offer you anything, be thankful. The reviews are just rediculois. I do wish they would offer to hold clothes for more than a day to give them more time, they don't have that much time to go through everyone's "garbage bags full of clothing". So please stop calling these young ladies lazy and rude. Unfortunately I think the corporate operations need to change the rules. They should allow 36 hours for clothing, etc... But anyway as far as the shopping experience, it's awesome. As long as they keep the prices affordable. The selection was great when I went, always is.

Great store to go to for little ones. I wish I knew about it sooner. Staff was nice.

I have had great experiences both buying and selling at this location.
Buying: I bought my 9 year old daughter 5 tops/4 bottoms 7/9 of the items were Justice brand and I paid around $36.
Selling: I made over $125 selling 2 bins of clothes and swing to this location. I freshly washed and dried all my items, inspected them for any stains, loose strings, rip/tears or missing buttons and then laid them flat in a bin. Both bins were full to the top and they only gave back about 10 items. I only put the best of my stuff in there and 90% was name brand. I was very happy with my experience.
Also the owner, who is often in the store, is such a sweet heart. She's so nice and upbeat and very helpful. I will definitely be shopping/selling here again!

I was in yesterday, my second time selling and it was a wonderful experience. Staff was nice and welcoming. I got a Gymboree set for under $10.00 matching and I felt that was a wonderful deal. Place smells nice. Just wish it was closer to me. I went to the 1.00 sale they had when I first relocated up here a few weeks ago and it was organized:) Will make the drive when I have more stuff to sell or when I need to buy for the kiddo's!

Went for the first time yesterday to sell and buy stuff. They were really busy so there was a wait for them to go through it so I said Id come back the next day. They got it done quicker than they originally stated. I came back the next day and It was a good process. I got a good deal on my stuff I sold and bought some stuff as well. Tiffany was so sweet and helpful explaining things since this was my first time selling and buying there. She interacted with my daughter and my daughter even said how nice she was. I will be back because of her!

the Other day my items were basically all given back. I was so upset but then the store manager Angela went through each piece one by one and showed me why they were given back and she was so pleasant about it. She wasn’t rushing or annoyed that I questioned the staff. That right there is true customer service. Now I know what to look for when going through the kiddos closets. Will be back!!

I stopped by on Veteran's day late afternoon and was told that the military discount of 10% was doubled that day to honor Veterans. When I heard that news I did a lot more shopping. At the end of the day the sweet ladies did not kick me out but instead were patient and even stayed past closing to check me out. I have always got great bargains for all of my grand children and will continue to do so. Thanks ladies Judy

I saw the Facebook post about the 3 people shoplifting out of your store. For some reason I was unable to leave a comment on your post. If you don’t know the individual in the blue shirts name, it is Marvin Hayes aka Speck. He lives in Hilliard FL. The blonde is his mistress girlfriend who he has a kid with behind his wife’s back. He would come to work all the time bragging about cheating on his wife like it was something to be proud of. I hope you get the other two responsible and that this information helps you.

Just wanted to give you a review because of your awesome staff. The past few times I’ve been in there there have been customers giving them attitude because you guys didn’t buy all their stuff and they handled it more professionally than I would. Keep up the great work. Love the high quality of items you have in your store.

Best selection, friendly and helpful staff and the BEST prices. What else could anyone want when buying clothes for a growing family. We sell our kids' stuff to them as well and we usually apply the money to replace the things they've outgrown. Can't beat it!

I didn’t have much success selling to this place. Jasmine, however, is incredible. She helped me so much even when I took my items back. She carried them out for me, disassembled my bassinet and made it fit in my car. She was absolutely wonderful.

Thre Owner cares about her customers. I will give her my business. It's hard to run a retail business selling gently used items, especially when there are so many entitled, rude people thinking they're going to get paid retail for the items they're bringing in! I am sad at these comments towards this honest business! The comment about the lady "talking too much" was so hateful!! I'll be sure to bring them MY business and I hope these hateful sourpusses reconsider their mean reviews, this is someone's livelihood here. Its not wise to bash a company in that way. Keep up the good work and keep smiling!

We visited this store during vacation and it's so cute and organized. They even have sensory friendly days!!!! Great selection of kids clothing, shoes and toys. The cashier was helpful and courteous. Highly recommend.

Taylor helped me. She was very professional knowledgeable and helpful. Such a pleasure to be explained a process without feeling rushed and a bother. I am a newbie. She is great and because of her I will be back tomorrow and will tell others about your store and ny experience. Thanks again.

Love this once upon a child, I live in Arlington but make the drive to come here. I've sold a bunch of clothes here as well as bought a bunch of clothes here! They're awesome, gotta say yall have the best mannered staff. Thanks for always being so great!!!!

I've been to many of these type places through out the years, and this is by far one of the best. My wife and I have 4 kids and thus recycle through clothes and toys. We received good money back and this store has a great selection to choose from. We will definitely go back.
