First City Cafe

Great food and great staff! Our office is right down the street and today was our first visit - but will not be the last! Can’t wait to try all of their sandwiches. Today we got the Cristo!

Good soup. Great homely feel to the place. Host and everyone was very helpful and always had a smile on their face. Price was a little high but not very bad. Sandwiches were good, great flavor. Had the pulled buffalo chicken on a wrap. Overall you should support local businesses like this one. Will come back again.

This place makes me glad that I work in Rockledge. Eating here once a week is such a treat. Every sandwich on their menu is huge and delicious, REAL home made soups that are amazing. Their tomato bisque is the best I have ever tasted. Wonderful staff. A must try if you have not been here.

Delicious made from scratch honest to goodness FOOD! We've had the Tomato Bisque which is the best in Brevard! The chicken salad is delicious and the best in Brevard! Great Food. Awesome Price! I hope you get a chance to stop in and enjoy as much as we did. Very Friendly and Welcoming and very charming!

I had the shrimp n grits which was amazing! So flavorful and they didn't skimp on the shrimp. Large portion too. Can't wait to try other items on their menu. Everything sounds amazing!

It’s a nice cafe, in an area with few restaurants immediately close by.

A meal can range from $7-11 and it’s just enough food for a nice lunch without being too full. They also do seem to frequently offer discounts for various reasons.

The decor on the inside is very homey with fun, historical bits about old Rockledge and it ties to their name “First City Cafe.”

My only con is that the sweet tea wasn’t that sweet ):

I love this place. Service is friendly and quick. I had a very tasty deli style pressed sandwich and with chicken noodle soup. Very comfortable and clean. I would recommend you try this place when visiting Rockledge/Viera.

A hidden gem!
Met my girlfriends for lunch and the staff was wonderful. The food was fresh and tasty and the restaurant was quite cute. Definitely worth trying.

Ordered the Broccoli Cheddar soup and chili for take out and it was some of the best Chili I have had in a restaurant! The Broccoli Cheddar was awesome too! Will be back!

Delicious and huge pressed sandwiches. Homemade soup! Nice n casual with friendly folks behind the counter. A great break from the ”chains”.

Went for the first time yesterday I can't believe this was my first time and they are across the street from my house. Will be a regular stop from now on the food is awesome!
