Bird Dogs Country Store

10/10 for customer service! I’m a little late on this review but, I bought their moonshine hot sauce on a trip to the campground nearby last summer. It was so good but the drive was too far to go back. I was willing to pay for shipping though, so I called them in hopes of being able to get more of it. I don’t remember who I spoke with but she was helpful, called me back, and I ended up ordering all their flavors. To top it all off, they sent me this nice letter with a pretty cool sticker. Will definitely be stopping in if I’m ever in the area again. Thanks Birddog’s Crew!

My 1st swing by...great milkshake, salads, shrimp, sandwiches, fully stocked store, nice people, picnic table out front, gas at the lower end ...love it!

My first time at this little country store, the people were awesome. A customer helped me with picking the best choices of sandwiches for my lunch. Just a nice place, family oriented, nice table outside to sit and enjoy your meal.

Got our fishing licenses here. Many types of bait for sale. Simple fishing gear available. Cold drinks and snacks like any convenience store. Gas reasonably priced. Tight tiny isles meant for skinny people, which I am not. The people are friendly. Serve hot fresh food, daily specials you can eat on the picnic tables outside. Nice old school place.

I love this small store. You can get some food to go and you can grab some knickknacks while you're at it. It's like a gift shop/convenience store/gas station. Great customer service each time as well. Check them out!

Quant, quiet fully stocked Country store in Westmoreland County. Even have fresh made to order breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Gifts as well!

Lots of gifts and homemade foods and salads. Nice folks! My husband had a country ham sandwich that was delicious. Had soups and fresh baked goods.

Always friendly and easy to get ice & camping stuff.

We camp at West Moreland State frequently, this a great place to get a quick sandwich. Great desserts too. They have a little bit of everything, a little pricey but in a pinch it beats driving to Montrose.

Darlene is Awesome and always friendly and helpful. They always have a little bit of everything inside the store for last minute things that I forgot. Also they have a Food Counter where they have deviled eggs and crab dip and other food items that they prepare or you can always order up a cheeseburger and fries that they prepare fresh for each order. They're food is the best around. You can't go wrong with BirdDogs!

Great spot to stop if you're headed to westmora State Park or you are staying at Westmoreland State park. They are a 10th of a mile from the entrance of Westmoreland State Park and sell a little bit of everything and make fresh food.

The food was great! Highly recommend a cheeseburger. Super close to the camp site and staff was nice. A little busy for the two registers so you may have to wait in line but it's worth it.

Homemade desserts and country food for sale. A little pricey. Only real local place to stop for gas, food, lottery, etc. So it's busy. Must wear mask. Don't know if they have bathrooms

Great little country store with many things needed by forgetful campers. Deli counter has great breakfast sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches for lunch or dinner.

Gas is cheap, beer is cold and ice cream is frozen.

Get yourself a breakfast/crab cake/or chicken salad sandwich from Bird Dogs, die, and arrive in heaven with a fully happy belly! When St Peter asks the source of your joy, you tell him Bird Dogs.

When you are staying at a Campground nearby you can have your packages delivered there. As I was picking up my package from the store I bought a bottle of homemade mango hot sauce out of this world good...

My first time here and I will be back often. bought homemade pork rinds and they were out of this world delicious, looking forward to trying everything else.
