Pub Americana

We stopped in and had lunch at the Pub Americana as suggested by Rich, a local who I ran into while shopping in Cocoa Village. The food was fantastic. We grabbed a table outside without any wait, despite it being Mardi-Gra weekend in Cocoa. The service was fast and friendly. Our waiter was awesome and attentive. They offer a great menu and I highly recommend the Blackened Chicken Sandwich, it was superb.

Josh is the man! My drinks were mixed amazingly. Great service here mixed with a chill atmosphere. I ordered the Gator Bites to go, and I wanted to order the Village Blues burger before I left after seeing another patron take it to town lol. Will be back.

Great burgers, amazing people, and comfortable environment. Definitely a place to hit if vacationing or everyday if you live here!

The pub is in a great location! The atmosphere was great. Very lively area! Our server Megan made some great recommendations for food and drinks! She was so friendly and fun! The bang band shrimp appetizer was so fresh and crunchy! The burgers were juicy and delicious. We will be going back for sure!

This place is a GEM. BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. House salad was also amazing and i finished all of it! Had the BEST server Megan, she had amazing service and really made it an enjoyable time for me and my friend. plus it is not too expensive either! LOVE PUB AMERICANA!!! GO GET A BURGER NOW!!!!

Outstanding steak caprese and oil and garlic blackened chicken! Flavorful and perfectly prepared. Superior service from Meganne!

Awesome American pub (The Village also has an English tavern and a British pub, as well as a German biergarten) in that sweetspot just north of casual, but a bit south of upscale, all right in historic Cocoa Village! Excellent Happy Hour almost every day of the week, a solid (and delicious) menu (salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and nearly world-famous burgers), and amazing service (shout-out to the incomparable Josh), all in a cozy pub setting. There are some excellent restaurants in Cocoa Village, but Pub Americana needs to go into the rotation!

This spot has some of the best food in Cocoa Village. We like to sit at the bar because the bartenders are great. They have a bunch of craft beers on tap. The Black and Bleu sandwich is outstanding and their salads are huge and very tasty.

Great experience.
My son and I stopped for burgers, and were very pleasantly surprised.
I ordered a burger with crispy onions and mushrooms and my son got the kids cheeseburger.
I so much appreciated that the kids burger was not a cheaper cut of beef, but the same great quality, in a smaller size.
We also had Caesar salads and our waitress told us the dressing was made in house. It was delicious.
Staff was very friendly and and helpful, and we enjoyed the atmosphere of sitting outside.
We will definitely return.

Update MAR 2024: Back again for the Bad Bunny Pub Crawl (A Mad Hatter Production). Josh was his usual supper attentive, witty self. Loved the Napoleon Floridiana. Also had some wings.

Update DEC 2023: Back again for another Santa Stumble. Josh behind the bar was super fun and really hustling.

Original DEC 2021: Fun stop on a recent Santa Stumble. Super friendly staff - even indulged us by changing a TV right in front of us to the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship match (replacing a NFL game!!!). Like many places, the only selection for wings was boneless - they were very tasty (maybe just a bit over breaded) and a good price too.

The burgers are so good, it was literally the best burger i have ever had!!! And our server megan was so sweet and we loved her so much. This is a hidden gem!!! When you go ask for the server megan, you will not regret it.

It's been a few years since I've been here. Outdoor seating is wonderful and relaxed. Had the gator bites, house salad and sweet potato fries! Perfect lunch great service from Josh. Can't wait to come back.

Always an excellent experience....they do get busy but they work at making sure you get a smile and an update. Once tge food arrives, Boom! My absolute favorite is the Hangover burger!!! Cold beer is a plus! Those parmasan fries!!!!!

The Bison and Blue Chili taste very good, could have been warmer. The Pub Bang-Bang shrimp were Top 10! The burger was cooked perfectly however the fries portion was a bit small as was the cheese portion on the Pizza Especial. Portion size are smaller compared to prior visits, but a sign of the times. Perhaps?

Lunch call-in order of Bison & Blue Chili and Buffalo Mac-n-Cheese.
The chili was as expected, love this recipe. The Buffalo Mac-n-Cheese (not pictured here) on the other hand was a disappointment from my prior sampling of this entre. $17.95 for a plate of macaroni and chewy/tough, old, cut up chicken strips or nuggets. Definitely not a value. I would have returned it for not driving 10 miles round trip for it. Service was friendly. I had to drop a star - to 3.

Fantastic food! Have been on multiple occasions and everytime the food is good. Service is great! Good place for drinks and family friendly. The bourbon aolli is sooo good! I wish I could get it bottled to go.

Loved the atmosphere of Cocoa Village. Good beer selection and friendly staff. Food was good. Bourbon aoli was delicious but the sweet potato fries were a little too sweet with the brown sugar on them. Batter on the shrimp was great!

My good friend and I came to eat here the other day. I had saved it awhile ago in my maps to try because of all the good reviews. You guys this restaurant did not disappoint, the food was amazing he ordered the bison burger, and I ordered mine French style and they were both cooked to perfection. A new local favorite you will not be disappointed!

This place is absolutely wonderful! I’ve been here twice now, the last time being in 2015 (it’s 2020 now) and it’s always DELICIOUS. The hamburgers are delectable, the sweet potato fries are delightfully crispy and flavorful, the Mac and cheese is OMG DECADENT and even the salads are spot on mmm. I highly recommend the Greek salad or the blue cheese wedge salad, we just ate those. SO GOOD! Great service, fun atmosphere and full-liquor bar.
