Holiday Inn Panama City, an IHG Hotel

I can’t praise this hotel and its team enough!!
I’ve been staying here off and on since Sept. 2023. My mother was gravely ill and I was traveling back and forth from out of state. Each visit was great in spite of my reasons for being there.
Tammy was the night desk person most of my visits and she was always so pleasant, her kindness was so needed after spending 8-12 hours at the hospital with my mom. We met Eric on a visit and he was a genuinely great guy, our breakfast was amazing. Gabe was mainly the day desk person and he was awesome as well.
Fast forward to January and unfortunately my mother passed.
The GM Ray was beyond accommodating to me and my family. I had to plan my mother’s celebration of life service and was in need of resources, he came thru every single time!! I can never thank Ray and his staff enough for being the light I so needed during one of the worse times in my life.
I have left out a few names so my apologies but everyone was so great the many times I was there.
I will continue to stay only at this amazing hotel whenever I’m in PC.
If you want genuine excellent service, do not pass by this location.
Thank you Ray for setting the high standard of being in service to your guest and appreciating them staying with you guys.
Its hard nowadays to find a GM and team so focused on pleasing their customers.

As always, rooms are clean, smells great, front desk personnel are always smiling and friendly, and it’s easy to maneuver the parking lot. This was my family’s second stay here and we will continue to choose this hotel over any other in the area! (I like change so I rarely stay at the same hotel more than once!)

Very nice and clean room. Staff, especially the morning desk, were very friendly. Variety of pillows, comfortable bed. It was a little hard to warm the room up at night, but overall happy and would stay here again. I added the extra few dollars for the breakfast and it was very good, a few more options available than a typical continental breakfast that is usually included in other hotel fees, however you can't bring the food up to your room.

Shout out to the management and staff; Gabe and Mr. Frazier. Had an issue with my elderly parent which required us to call in outside help and extend our checkout time. The manager and staff were extremely helpful and understanding. The staff and manager were available to help us at any minute. I am very grateful for their kindness and understanding. They saw us as people and not just a number. Their attitude made a tough situation a little less stressful and manageable.

Fantastic location with comfortable bed and nice sized fully stocked bathroom. Both the front desk clerk and the GM were welcoming and accommodating. My rate included a delicious breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again.

Usually always stay at a Holiday Inn when traveling for work. Front desk ladies were super nice and had me checked in within minutes. Room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Room and lobby were very clean. Only have one complaint. On day 2 of my 4 day stay, I discovered a roach in my room and another on day 3. I’m from FL so I know about bugs so I wasn’t too creeped out about it. I brought it up to the lady at the front desk when checking out and she apologized and said that she would have them spray the room, which is what I wanted them to do. I would definitely stay here again in the future. They also have a nice restaurant with a variety of things on the menu. If you want to eat out, there’s a plethora of places to choose from within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.

Very nice place and was well content with the service and cleanliness. Gave at the check in was very nice and cool about things and was able to get us the highest floor. Breakfast and lobby area is very nice and breakfast was amazing.

Area still looks like it's recovering. The wait staff during breakfast was great. One of my guests doesn't eat pork. They waitress asked the chef each day during our stay to fix turkey sausage just for my guest. Lost my Bluetooth and it was at the front desk. Pool was quite. A suite would have been nice but this location didn't offer them.

Was looking for a place to stay for long weekend, and there were literally no other hotel. It feels like a new hotel and big enough. I took 2bed, single bathroom, rooms were great, no bad smell, but it did not have sofa.
There was buffet breakfast for $15 per adult, and 2 kids can accompany an adult.

We chose this hotel after a spur of the moment night away from home, with no destination in mind after a Google search we found that there was an indoor pool on this property 😀. I have lupus and can't be in the sun so an indoor pool still allows for me to enjoy a pool without the health risk. The lobby is beautiful and modern. Rooms were cleaned and stocked up with nice name brand products. Staff was very courteous and helpful when we went to the pool and the towels are out. They were quick to have clean towels restocked in the pool. Spa was nicely heated though becareful with phones or tablets close by when using the bubbles in the spa water will pop out of the holes...(lesson learned thankfully with out damage). Easy check in and check out allowed us to pay cash upon check in👍👍💜💙🧡 room cost was an average of 200 plus taxes and fees for the night. Only negative no breakfast of any kind was included, and the prices at the restaurant were on the high side especially for a family of 7.

I never write reviews, but our stay was so pleasant here, I had to! Just about every single staff member we met was extremely nice and caring. Eric in the dining area was amazing, you can tell a kind soul when you meet one. He always made sure our kids were smiling and having a great time. Everything was clean and kept well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was a lot better than the hotel's on the beach. The staff was very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

we travel a lot for basketball and this hotel had some of the nicest staff we have come across. everyone was so friendly. The kitchen staff can’t say enough good things about them.
Hotel itself was very clean you can tell whoever runs this place puts a lot of pride in it . Location was great for where we needed to be.

Very nice hotel. Very professional staff. Late night room service was a plus after a long day at the beach. The beach was about a 15 20 minute drive. Highly recommend. Will visit again.

The hotel was very clean and updated. The room was spacious. We always clean the bathroom ourselves when we first arrive at a hotel (you would be surprised just how much is left behind) but this one was very clean on our wipes. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Shanese at the front desk, Janice at bar, Briana at breakfast buffet. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were very clean. The grounds were nice. This will be our hotel from now on when we visit. Cannot say one bad thing.

Great and friendly staff. Awesome facilities/ amenities (like the pool/ jacuzzi). The breakfasts through the duration of my stay were some of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and shopping outlets.

From check in to leaving everyone was very nice and helpful they treated our large wedding party great. The hotel was very clean and smells great. The room very clean. Over all great stay. The food was great buffet style.
