Beautiful nature, very peaceful. We crossed paths with handful of people running/biking. This trail is baby stroller accessible and highly recommend for families! Parking lot is pretty small, maybe 8 cars.

Great biking trail, lots of scenery along the way. There us a slight incline heading in one direction, just enough to get in a bit of a workout.

For the first time, I parked here to ride my bicycle on the trail. It is mostly level and in good condition but not paved. Usually I park on Miles Road which this section connects to.

Great gravel trails for all sort of riders. There are also single tracks and more advanced trails for those that want to adventure in the terrain.

The section of the Mass Central Rail Trail under the stewardship of Wachusett Greenways is ideal for a wide range of non-motorized recreational opportunities -- walking, running, cycling, XC skiing, birding, fishing, and much more. It can be an especially rewarding place to introduce children to the wonders of nature, our local heritage, biking, XC skiing, and more in an off-road, safe setting. Because it's built primarily on a long-abandoned rail bed, it is nearly flat in most sections, which can be a boon for youngsters, seniors and people with disabilities, including wheelchair users. Off-road parking is provided in many convenient locations adjacent the trail. Dogs are permitted on much of the trail. Wachusett Greenways -- an all-volunteer nonprofit -- has overseen development and maintenance of the trail for 25 years, keeping every one of these 20 miles (and counting) in pristine condition year-round. Frequently when I go to the trail, I hear newcomers remark how beautiful it is. Highly recommended!

The rail trail is great. My wife and I love taking our pup for a stroll. The trail is a great alternative when the pavement is far too hot to go on lengthy walks.

Beautiful route through forest and wetlands on packed stone dust trail, bike tires at least 25mm (1.0 inch) and with some tread preferred. Slopes gradually downhill westbound.

Beautiful scenery and well maintained trail for biking, walking, etc. Rode about 12 miles and only encountered two other bikers and a handful of walkers.

A favorite place of mine to bike. Beautiful and tranquil, wheather walking or biking. Great times are mid spring when flowers are on bloom or fall with the changing leaves
