Holiday Inn Express Chesapeake - Norfolk, an IHG Hotel

Love everything about any Holiday Inn Express and this one makes me feel at home and I always feel like a brand new woman when I stay at Holiday Inn Express!!!! I could never come up with enough spectacular beds they have!!!!! It makes my body happy!!!! Huge bonus to say the least..... Everything is always so clean and you can tell that high standards are being met.....

Service is always great at this location. The elevator was out so I was on the 2nd floor when most of the time I get a first floor room. They had little gift bags I guess to ease the pain lol. I will say this and it is standard at mid level hotel you go too. Breakfast always sucks regardless to which one you go too. So when you speak 4 star or below you get what you get and bake the best of it og you go elsewhere for that meal

I showed up and check in as usual, i was originally unhappy with accommodations i spoke with Elijah ( hopefully spelled correctly) and he was extremely professional and accommodating. He was able to help me out and fix my issue within minutes all with a smile. Top notch place. Very happy with my stay

Very happy with our stay! Nicely cleaned & refreshed rooms, decent breakfast was well attended, frontdesk personnel was extremely friendly and helpful.

Super clean room. They have an outside pool. Yes it was open. Not heated. Bummer. But I probably wouldn't have gotten in. It was heavy rain due to Ian. Never lost power. The shower was real hot. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast in the morning was awesome. Scrambled eggs, sweet rolls, sausage, pancakes, and cold cereal. With OJ, apple juice, cranberry juice and coffee. Dont miss that.

Fast, friendly, and easy check-in. Room was clean and spacious enough for our family. Bathroom was clean also. Beds are super comfortable like the most comfortable we have ever slept on at any hotel we all agree. The breakfast was good with a lot more options then other hotels we have stayed at in the area as well. The breakfast attendant was also extremely helpful and nice and even helped me all the way to the elevator and pushed my floor button for me since my hands were full. There were really no complaints whatsoever about anything at all. Definitely recommend staying here as a 1st choice if visiting Chesapeake.

I wanted a first floor, but it wasn't available. The front desk was kind and professional. Room was clean.
I was greeted when entering and exiting.

I needed extra time to pack my bags and the frond desk (Nate) was kind and very helpful and professional and I think he is an artist 🎨 .

Breakfast was as always, bacon, eggs, yogurt, juices and other.

Maintaining staff was all over the place cleaning and maintaining the place.
Things like that makes me Spire member and always coming back to IHG.

Hotel room was very nice and clean. Location is good, close to gas stations and stores. Breakfast was very good (hot and cold foods). Only complaint is that the elevator smelled bad.

I deliver to this hotel a lot, never stayed so this is a limited review. The lobby and public areas are always clean, bright, and appear well maintained. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. I would give it a shot if you are hopeful that the rooms take on the same aspect as the public areas.

Everything has been very nice for the most part. The pool is great. Beds are comfortable. I don't think they vacuumed the floors very well because my 1 year old found food around the beds! As far as the breakfast goes, it's a typical contential breakfast as a decent hotel. Microwave eggs, rubbery pancakes, green bananas. But the yogurt and cereal were good! I've never stayed at super fancy places so this is typical of where I am usually able to stay. For location, there are plenty of places to shop nearby if you need something but I do not like driving in this area.

My family and I absolutely love this holiday inn express! We’ve been staying here for about 2 months, and it’s become a second home. The staff are incredibly friendly and quick to assist with anything you may need. We literally know almost all the staff by first name. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and great breakfast every morning! I would recommend this hotel for a quick turnover or an extended stay. Close to restaurants, bars, and the interstate.

A very nice hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable. Common spaces were great for our groups to gather and visit. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.
They had a very nice breakfast bar. The staff maintained it and kept it clean.
Nice little convenience store on permise.

Recently updated. Convenient location. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The suites are very nice. Typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast. I frequent many Holiday Inn Express hotels and this is another good one. The rooms are excellent. They are very clean and recently renovated. The beds are very comfortable. You get a good selection from the hot breakfast offered each morning.

The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. Very clean and accommadating. Great continental breakfast. Went out of their way to help us at a very stressful time due to weather.

Great stay, just a little noisy if room is on lower level near the side exits. Clean, well organized, friendly staff.

I stayed here just passing through to my next destination and was pleasantly surprised at the value. This location was super clean and quiet. The front desk attendants were also very nice, both at check in and check out.

Very convenient , comfortable, clean, cleaning in morning 🌄 afternoon and night. I was up 430am their cleaning floors. Staff was friendly and helpful also. I needed more time and they help me work it out. Prices were affordable and in the range I needed or could afford.
