Comfort Suites Chesapeake - Norfolk

When in town, I seek this hotel out and stay due to being a Choice privileges member. It must have been awhile when I last stayed (the property before spacious although dated) as the lobby looked amazing which I assumed was the extent of the renovation. When I got to the room, I was even more impressed. New furniture, beds configuration of the suite- the work space is in between the bed and the sitting area and much more functional than before. The breakfast is amazing with so many choices. The staff has always been been friendly and with the renovation enhances the stay that much more.

I was genuinely impressed by this hotel. My room was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. I'm guessing that they recently renovated because everything in the room seemed clean and new. The location was great with lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Due to the lobby renovations, breakfast was grab-and-go, but even that was fine.

Newly renovated hotel with some work in progress. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The location is nearby all types of shopping and it is immediately off Interstate I-64. Safe location with no riff-raff lingering around. I had a King Bed Room with shower only. The room was very clean, really nice, extremely functional, equipped with ample lighting, lots of new technology integrated into the newly renovated rooms. I am very satisfied with the value afforded for the dollar spent. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

I'm impressed with the hotel. My room is wonderful and staff has been great. It's near lots of food venues and the desk even keeps a list with nearby places. Beats some of the "higher" end places I've stayed recently!!

The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even though there are renovations in progress, my stay has not been impacted at all. If not for the dumpsters in back and workers arriving in the morning and leaving in the evening I would never know.
The free breakfast has both hot and cold choices and is ready on time.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as shopping.

During my recent visit to this area, I opted to stay at a hotel instead of with family, as I prefer a more relaxed environment without too many rules. This particular hotel has become a favorite of mine, and not solely because they offer a complimentary breakfast. The rooms are cozy and I have never encountered any noise issues during my two previous stays. However, I do wish they would consider adding hot chocolate to their free coffee bar for added convenience and variety.

This is a return stay for me. I stayed here last year and liked it so much that I came back this year. Visiting my daughter and grandkids.

I had such a great stay. The rooms are a little out dated and the breakfast could use some “sprucing up” but the location is wonderful and the price isn’t that bad . The staff was very helpful and friendly. One lady went above and beyond for us and it really made an impression. I believe her name was Sharon. Will stay again

Helpful friendly service. Room was nice, clean (and big). The breakfast is among this best I've had. The ladies that run the continental breakfast are very helpful and friendly, will get you anything you need. Impressive selection of food choices too. This is an older hotel, but a real gem

Yes this was my first time staying there. I made reservation a week of the date I was going to stay there and I use one of my credit cards to place it on hold because I thought they took cash and they do not, for some reason my reservation got canceled so when I got there to check in the lady at the front desk told me it has been canceled and she didn't know why but thank God they still had rooms, it was my birthday on that day, didn't have no party just me and my girl enjoying the room there the room was large and beautiful had everything that you need in there, the breakfast bar in the morning was on point. I will be staying there again really enjoyed myself this was like no other hotel room that I had stayed in before so we'll be seeing this hotel again.

Great representation of the Comfort Suites brand! Very well kept and clean property. Our room was nicely appointed, and sparkling clean. Nice and quiet location among many hotels, very close and convenient to a myriad of shopping and dining choices.

When I checked in this room I was greeted by a lovely voice ( CRYSTAL ). She made my day my visit my everything just brighter. She was welcoming and had a smile on her face that can light up a gloomy room. Traveling from California (driving) 36 hrs I just needed to rest and she made me feel at home. My room was on the 3rd floor but she was able to get me on the first floor an I really appreciate that. Her customer service goes above an beyond. I will definitely be staying here again an that’s a fact. Please give her a big thank you for me. And tell (CRYSTAL) keep being the joy she is because this world needs her.

I come twice a year for airsoft. I always stay here. Nice, clean rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. Plus, it's only 20 minutes from Ballahack Airsoft 😎

I want to express the courtesy from clerk Tracee and the breakfast team this weekend. I have never been treated so kindly from a hotel service, and these employees should be recognized for their dedicated great service that they provide. I will gladly pass this hotel to anyone coming towards Virginia Beach in the future.

This budget inn was clean and had all the amenities you'd want. There's a swimming pool, fitness center, and complimentary breakfast buffet which included eggs, sausage, meat, as well as the usual breakfast fare. The staff is friendly and helpful and the premises are well maintained and clean. We stayed here twice, once on our way to the Outer Banks and then on the way back from OBX. Very convenient location near a super Wal-Mart as well as places to eat, like the Cutlass Grille for Jamaican food, El Loro for Mexican food, and Judy's Sichuan for Chinese food.

The front desk personnel were kind & welcoming. The room & bathroom were spotless! The morning breakfast was very yummy. While it was the usual fare for the free breakfast Tim, Rose & Robin did a great job to make sure everything was top notch …. fresh, hot & plentiful. They were readily available if you needed anything & happy to help.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Our stay was by far the best since we’ve been here in Virginia😄. The room was super clean! My husband and I are professional cleaners so we always inspect our rooms. Not a spec of dust on anything. Probably because this hotel doesn’t cheap out when it comes to cleaners. They had cleaners on the floor all day and all night. Pretty awesome!! Room is big, bed was amazing and shower/water pressure was literally the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The location is perfect. Close to Starbucks, Walmart, target, chipotle, pretty much anything you can think to eat, drink, or do, it’s all within a mile. Staff was very inviting, check in was painless, and the amenities including the beautiful pool, fitness area, and breakfast was all wonderful. Still can’t believe we paid what we did for this top notch hotel. We will be coming back many times in the future!

Stayed here when my mother was in the hospital in during the busy Memorial Day holiday. Front desk clerk was kind and went out of her way to get me and my family members checked into two adjacent rooms, which were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good and offered more than many hotels. We did not use the pool, but it looked very clean and the deck offered plenty of space and some shade. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The hotel was clean and quiet! The room was very spacious!!! There was plenty of room for 3 adults. The shower was everything: great water pressure & plenty of hot water!!! Only negative was there wasn't any vending machines & snacks had to be purchased at the front desk which was very costly. Overall wonderful overnight stay!!!

I have to post a review, as someone who didn't even stay here. I had an issue with my bank, shortly after a reservation was canceled at this hotel. My bank was absolutely horrible with my refund from this hotel. After speaking several times with the receptionist, more than 1 I'm sure lol, she went absolutely above and beyond to help resolve my bank issue. I believe her name was Valerie, or close to it, I was very stressed out lol. So, as someone who didn't even stay here, and had a cancelation for whatever reason, this is the best service I've had in a very long time!! Thank yall so much, I can't wait to book a room now and stay lol!!
