Staybridge Suites Chesapeake - Virginia Beach, an IHG Hotel

I stayed 1 week in their king non smoking suite with my s/o and 2 children.
The rooms were clean besides odd stains on the sheets of the pull out bed. Only complaints we had were the dishwasher leaking, the door being installed too close to the toilet so it hits the commode every time, and that the locking mechanism on our room door as well as the doors outside the buildings not catching and locking correctly.
Breakfast is buffet style and Monday-Wednesday they have a rotating “happy hour” of snacks and drinks. If you like to have DoorDash delivered, be sure to specify exactly where you’re staying at because there is a Holiday Inn right beside of it and DD drivers get confused.

I stayed there two weeks ago for 4 days. The staff is wonderful and the room was very clean and it’s like staying in a mini apartment. The breakfast in the morning is like going to a buffet. This is the where I’ll be staying when visiting Chesapeake.

I had to stay at this hotel due to a home fire. Everyone was professional and pleasant. The room was clean and the front desk responsive. The breakfast was varied each morning and tastey. I would recommend this hotel.

Love the room, the complimentary FULL breakfast, and the location! I loved the layout of the room and appreciated the full kitchen with plates and utensils. Unfortunately, I missed the cocktail hours and the pool/hot tub was closed due to repairs...but I will definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed staying here. Loved how there was plenty of room and that there were things (dishes, cutlery, etc.) In the room to use. The only issue we had was with the laundry room. While I was there only 1 washer was working. Otherwise, I will definitely recommend this hotel to people and plan on staying here again when I visit home.

There is nothing I can say bad about this hotel. Everyone is absolutely amazing they will accommodate any possible way. All the front desk people are absolutely amazing all the housekeepers are absolutely amazing the maintenance are amazing.
They will make you feel as though you are family no matter how short or long your stay is. If you're looking for a hotel that is close to the beach and a nice area with a whole bunch of stuff around it go here...

This is the best hotel we have stayed at! The staff is amazing and friendly, the breakfast is very good, the hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet & relaxing! Lots of space, I love our room! Great value and service! This is a hotel I will definitely be staying at again in the future!

Amazing customer care from the entire staff. I usually carry my own aromatherapy products for scenting my room, but I didn’t need it here. Lovely, peaceful scents are used at this location, & I look forward to all my future stays here. Job well done! Ladies & gentlemen please continue to keep up the great work you’re doing. I accidently picked this hotel but was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are nice including a nice little kitchen. Breakfast is pretty good for free. As good as you will find. The happy hour was a pleasant surprise as well. Wine and beer on the house plus light meal type food.

Excellent stay! The rooms were very clean, well appointed, and stocked with all necessities for cooking. The laundry facilities and grill were an added bonus for a week stay. Breakfast was plentiful, especially in light of the pandemic. Wonderful staff, too! If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend.

This hotel is very clean. The ladies that are cleaning the room are very detailed when cleaning and take their time. You will most likely not be able to do an early check in but that's because they are doing quality cleaning. I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is Awesome too!

Good location, room is comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen. It has a two burner stove, medium sized fridge, dishwasher and most utensils. If you like to cook I would bring your own pots/pans and knife. Only complaint about the room is the trash can is way too small. It's about a 10 inch tall trash can. I'll bring my own next time. Bed is comfy.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Perfect location and felt safe. Wish the pool and hot tub was open during my visit.

Outstanding! Stayed there for 8 weeks. The breakfast crew had the food out a little earlier to accommodate our early shift for work. Front desk was very courteous. When I needed maintenance the 1 time he was there in minutes. Housekeeping was very good also.

The best hotel ever! The amenities were excellent! The staff was GREAT! They are always friendly and go out of their way to help you! My kids and I were here from August to January. We lost our home due to a fire! Breakfast was always fresh.The hotel was kept clean. Staybridge is definitely home away from home! My grandbaby loved the Pantry when he came in from school! The only thing I had a problem with is i couldn't stay longer! I would recommend anyone to this hotel!!!

Great rooms with dove brand soaps, full size fridge, stovetop, complimentary popcorn, pool and Jacuzzi hot tub (though when we went, it looked like some kids had left it quite a mess), great service and friendly staff, delicious free breakfast (had scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, vegetarian Morningstar Farms sausage, sweet potato tater tots, fresh cut fruits like strawberries, pineapples, melon, and blueberries, then your usual muffins breads cereals coffee juices etc.).

It's like living in your own private condo. Everything is super quiet in the room and I stayed on the third floor. The breakfast is delicious with staff that is nice and helpful. The business center has three computers with three big printers. Nice parking as well. Real nice scenery in the front lobby

Was a nice little quaint place to get away for the night! We really had a nice time! Staff was friendly and service was exceptional! Heated pool was so nice to take a dip in while on Spring Break! Would very much stay again and recommend to friends and family!
