Well marked trail. There is a lot of wildlife and horses sharing the trail so please make sure your dog is trained and has a reason (like service) to be off leash for the safety of all creatures. Trail head lot was empty at 7am on a Wednesday, except for one other vehicle. Pit toilets and picnic areas very clean.

Had an amazing time being able to get out and see some mountainous sights of Colorado before coming home. This was a beautiful location. I would go back again for sure!!!

Discovered this trail in August. We followed the creek heading up to Mt. Logan. The trail has some light elevation gain as you hike mostly in the shade of the tree canopy. Saw about 6 other groups all day, plus one campsite. Once to the top of Mt. Logan, you have an amazing view of Mt. Evans and Mt. Bierstadt from the South. An excellent choice for a close hike to Denver, if you want to stay away from the more popular trails in the Pass.

Great hike along a lovely creek. A little hard to tell when the hike actually ends (I think the trail goes on and connects with some other trail in the mountains). We turned back once we got above the tree line. Some miles into the hike there’s some open areas where we spotted a moose 100-120 yards from the trail. Hiked it with some buddies in early June.

Great place for a hike! Trail is pretty easy and you cross over the stream several times.

Beautiful spot. We stopped on the way up the pass. It suddenly started snowing, which was perfect.

Pretty spot to stop and take in the creek, sights, and sounds not too far below Guanella Pass.

Very nice to have a rest area on the road. The bridge was quite neat. The river was flowing quickly. I took a bunch of pictures. Did it have time to go down the trail itself as we were on our way to Georgetown. Best of all, a bathroom.

Gorgeous spot not far up Guanella Pass from Grant on the 285. I could spend a lifetime here! It was stunningly beautiful and the trail system seemed clear and well-maintained!💚

One of our favorite places for backpacking. Gorgeous hike through evergreens and aspens. Great rock formations, water access the whole time.

We stopped here for a picnic. No tables at this site. Headed up to Duck Pond instead. Nice place. Did not spend any time here.
