Mountain Recreation Freedom Park

Great place to get outdoors and enjoy the weather and scenery of the mountains. Walked around the park and the lake on the paved trail. The path isn't overly long but it is well maintained and easy to use. The lake was nice but relatively small. There were public restrooms on site and a playground for kids. Nice area to spend part of your day that connects to other trails.

Great place to take your dogs off leash. They can run and play.

We've been visitors of this park for years, and it's never been bad or in disrepair. Yet, over the winter months, they pulled all the old equipment, replacing it with new, and it's BETTER than before. It you visited this park last summer, you won't recognize it –for the better.

There is a thoughtful separation of equipment between toddlers and kids 6+; truly fun for all ages. There are lots of benches for exhausted parents, a mini splash area for the hot days, and always a couple of food trucks to refuel.

What a gorgeous park! It's well maintained, has a soft playground surface for little ones, and is quite spacious. Visiting on September 29th, we were treated to the beauty of the autumn leaves.

Waters were unusually high this time of year. Absolutely breath taking sites to see.

Wonderful lakeside park where dogs can run off leash and play to their hearts content. Nice paved path goes all the way around the lake. Lake is stocked for catch and release fishing. Next to public recreation facility so bathrooms are available. Beautiful views and connects to the Eagle Valley Trail System.

Great park...skateboard, artifical turf, playground, river etc..

A gem. Several acres of clean, cut grass park with off-leash dog access. There's a pond in the middle in which dogs can swim (though people can't). It was the perfect thing for my hound, who was stuck in the car for hours. One thing to keep in mind, though: the area is not fenced and there are roads close by -- so best for dogs who work well under control of their owners.

Little dog park/lake situation with great skate park and playground as well as soccer/baseball fields. This park hosts many sports tournaments and is busy on weekends. It's a footbridge away from the Riverwalk of Edwards and near CMC and battle mountain high school.

Beautiful place with walking path around a pond.. off leash dog park on one side . we saw an Osprey circling overhead yesterday. Kids fishing from the bank.. very peaceful

Great off leash dog park. If your dog doesn't listen though be careful, they bubble the pond and dogs jump in the hole that it creates all the time.

Beautiful park on a lake with military and 9/11 tributes. Off leash fun for dogs too.

One of the most enchanting locations on Earth for sports and rec. Truly awesome and peaceful event location with great facilities and fields - turf and grass.

Nice dog park, free parking, beautiful lake, wide paved path, for wheelchairs, strollers. Un-nuetered dogs roam free, and ruin the day
