I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Holen and his team. I came in with a very unique problem and he took my concerns seriously and made me feel right at home. He has incredible bedside manner and genuinely cares about the patients he treats. His approach is unique and refreshing. I highly recommend anyone checking out Avail if they are having chronic pain, weakness, or instability.

I have been going to Avail and Dr Holen for 10 months now. I have DDD in my lumbar spine, stenosis and arthritis from L3- S1. I have had some success with other therapy but the results weren’t long lasting. I went from 40-90% back flexion after seeing Dr Holen and skied 49 days last year without coming home to lay on ice packs and was able to ride my horse on long (4/5 hr) rides all summer too! So happy I found Avail Soft Tissue and Spine!

Dr. Adam is a miracle worker. Nothing I had tried for years could even touch my back pain until I met Dr. Adam. He is single-handedly keeping me out of the surgeon's office. I have referred all my friends and family and could not recommend him highly enough no matter what part of you hurts!

When I started going to Avail, I had been experiencing severe neck and lower back pain. My condition had progressed to being dizzy most of the time and sometimes fainting. The neurologist and spine doctors did not have an explanation, and I was feeling hopeless. After my 1st visit to Dr. Holen, I started feeling better. Within a few visits I was no longer dizzy. I am now looking forward to being able to x-country ski and ride my bike again next season which are things I thought I may have lost forever. I am beyond grateful!

I'm a professional World Cup mogul skier and 2018 Olympian on the US Ski Team, and I started seeing Dr. Holen about a year ago for a bulging L4, L5 disc. While still training at full capacity for the World Cup Tour, Dr. Holen helped me feel so much better. He worked around my crazy training schedule (which includes weight lifting, plyometrics, cardio, skiing, trampoline AND water ramp training) to ensure that any flare-up occurrences would be slim to none. For the first time in years, I've had zero disc pain since December. Mogul skiing is probably the worst thing a person could do for their back, but Dr. Holen's treatment made my back feel fantastic during the most intense year of training and competing I've ever had in my career. Not to mention this was my most successful season yet with two World Cup podiums, a 5th Overall Ranking on the World Cup Tour, and two US National Championship Titles. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Holen for any chiropractic need. I have suffered from back pain for 10+ years with little to no relief and was contemplating back surgery before I found Avail Soft Tissue and Spine. Dr. Holen spent an hour and a half doing flexibility tests and explaining treatment to me on our first visit, after the first few visits I experienced significant relief from my pain and over a year later I have my LIFE back and don't have to worry about how my back is going to feel. I am able to work out, paddle board, ski, and just live a normal day to day life without back pain or fear of throwing my back out. Bonus points for Sven the office dog!! I have suffered from neck and shoulder pain for upwards of 18 years. I have tried physical therapy, dry needling, traditional chiropractors and even went as far as seeing a surgeon when I started experiencing numbness and tingling down my arm. Dry needling and traditional chiro work (adjustments) temporarily helped my symptoms but never more than a couple of days. Physical therapy worsened my pain. The Neck surgeon just told me to do more pt and that he couldn't help me.

When discussing my meniscus tear with friends and family and reluctantly contemplating surgery, Avail came highly recommended. Finally when my pain was unbearable and walking was difficult, I made the call. I have had a handful of visits and I'm pain free. I only wish I had started seeing Dr. Holen years ago. Now I look forward to addressing other chronic issues that I have continued to put off. Don't live in pain, make the call, you will be thankful you did.

My neck pain is gone and I have my range of motion back. The experience at Avail was excellent all around - from the initial consultation to determine if this treatment made sense for me, to the measurements that Dr. Holen takes to make sure we know my progress. By the second appointment, I had very noticeable results! The treatments to breakdown adhesion in the muscles are not at all painful or uncomfortable - and Dr. Holen does a tremendous job of explaining exactly what he is doing and why. I went through about 2 months of treatments (twice a week) and had one exercise to do at home. I am back to full mobility and I have no pain! I am so glad I found this treatment right here in Glenwood Springs!

I have been overwhelmed by how wonderful going to Avail soft tissue and spine has been for me. I have fibromyalgia and am in constant pain but my neck and shoulders we excruciating and little mobility. After on a few sessions I was out of pain in my neck and shoulders! My mobility was also improved. Dr. Adam Holen has been a miracle worker! If you’re having any issues at all I highly recommend going to Avail soft tissue and spine!!!!

Thanks to the considerate care of Dr. Holen (and assisting Erin) my painful shoulderblade and neck issues experience released tension and I have more flexibility. Since my issues are cumulative from a life of labor and repeated whiplash, and now arthritis, I don't think I will ever be perfectly painfree. I get a gentle, yet effect touch to areas that I am hesitant to have just any practitioner touch. However, reduced flareup and more flexibility are wonderful benefits I receive from AVAIL.

Having undergone 8 previous orthopedic surgeries, I was not looking forward to the prospect of Number 9 when I learned that my right big toe joint was nearly "bone on bone". Having resolved the osteoarthritis in my right knee with a total knee replacement, I knew all too well what I might be facing with yet another procedure. That being said, I kicked the can down the road with steroid shots, CBD and enduring the pain until I met Dr. Holen at Avail Soft Tissue & Spine. After a full evaluation, it was confirmed that I had significant adhesion in multiple areas on my right side - from my toes up to my shoulder. I am still a work in progress but the relief I experienced after my first treatment on my toe and foot was immediate. I have continued to see Dr. Holen as we move from foot to knee to quad and back and the results have been extraordinary. I have been able to hike again without pain and no longer is it excruciating torture to get my foot into a ski boot. The team at Avail Soft Tissue & Spine is top notch. Not only are you getting specialized treatment you can't get within 150 miles from this valley you're getting very specific treatment from Dr. Holen and his assistant. Dr. Holen is very thorough in his approach and making sure that you understand what is happening in your body that is causing you pain as well as the plan for treatment. I have been to 5 other chiropractors in my lifetime and not a single one of them was able to get me to the stable point that Dr. Holen has. I rarely have pain anymore and when I do it's less than half of what it used to be and doesn't last.

I have had great results with Dr. Hollen’s Treatment. I had been dealing with pain in my hip on an almost daily basis for 5 + years and would sometimes have really bad flare ups that would have me missing work and I was unable to do normal day to day things. He will address the muscle adhesions surrounding your injury that keep you in pain. I have had disc related low back pain for 15 years on and off. Despite the fact that I am a bad patient (always promising to do my strengthening exercises), I am still pain free. This treatment really, really works. Dr. Holen provides a much needed different approach to chiropractic care. He uses integrative diagnosis to pinpoint and explain the cause of your problem and uses soft tissue adhesion release to work with your problem until it is solved. The fact that his treatment plan is transparent and measured shows proof of results and gives patients the “why” and “how” we need when seeking pain relief and injury rehab!! I love this forward thinking yet common sense approach to treating the cause so it doesn’t cause more damage.

Very pleased with the results of Dr Holen's unique therapy. Chiropractors, accupuncture, stretching, not even Advil was helping my painful pinched nerve, but feeling great after 5 sessions.
