Salsa's Taqueria - Mammoth Lakes

Service is great. Food is delicious. Been coming to Mammoth Lakes for over 30 years so we got to enjoy Salsa's Taqueria since they opened. Highly recommend.... Our favorite go to spot! Dining indoors or outdoors so you choose! Doesn't hurt to try it, no regrets for us! We dine there and also take home and always yummy.

I normally just get the burritos here, but yesterday we tried the Camarones a la Diabla and it was very tasty - sweet and spicy. Will definitely have again.

Authentic delicious Mexican food. We came here on a Monday morning for breakfast. I order 3 tacos (1 lengua, 1 carne asada, 1 tripas). My husband and son ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. My other son ordered the California burrito. And my friend and her daughter ordered the bean, rice and cheese burrito. We were all very happy with our food and the prices are very reasonable. The burritos are big. They have a variety of salsas to choose from. The have mild to very spicy salsa. They were all very tasty. This is definitely one of the restaurants we will be coming back to.

If you’re craving authentic Mexican food then this is the place! They had a steady crowd for dinner. We had the carne asada fries, carne asada tacos with rice/beans plate & carnitas tacos which I’ve had plenty of times to know these were on the bland side but nothing some salsa can’t fix. Service is good… I’d say we waited about 6-7 minutes for our food. Must have Horchata drink is amazing! Things to know: order food at counter, plenty of inside and outside seating available, crazy-good salsa bar, free fountain drink refills & plenty of parking.

Went to this restaurant at random while in Mammoth. It is your typical “taco shop”, but their food is anything but typical. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla and the two taco (el pastor) plate. Besides being delicious, the amount of food, specifically the meat portions, were huge. We were not left wanting from this meal. We’ll definitely be visiting this establishment again in the future.

Not a sit-down dinner place, you order at the counter, but the food is AMAZING. The service is wonderful.
We were in town for 5 days and at those breakfast burritos 4 of the days!

Great Mexican food if your looking for Authentic real good tasting Mexican food. I'm Mexican and picky when it comes to Mexican food and this place did not disappoint! Great Carne Asada tacos, burritos, fish burrito and Carne asada fries.

Hands down the Best Tacos in Mammoth!! Fish tacos, shrimp, and carne asada are amazing! The nachos are good to share as well! ❤ there is limited seating but so worth it!

Great little Mexican restaurant! While they have only five tables for inside seating, there are some tables outside as well. I've enjoyed almost everything on the menu and it's all delicious. Friendly staff, very good food, an experience not to be missed!

I just wanna say it’s been years since I’ve had salsas but I still dream about it. The breakfast burritos are the best I’ve ever had.

They are fast and friendly. Large portions and great quality. My Carne Asada fries were very tasty.

Looking for something quick and easy. A little crowded waiting to order and pick up food, but great place get takeout. Food was tasty. Looking forward to my next visit.

So far the best Mexican food in Mammoth! The fish tacos are amazing. Sorry, I might have taken a bite of that taco before the picture. It was that good.

Great Mexican Food! The food is fast and fresh! I took the recommendation of the cashier and ordered the Birras. I was quite impressed that she asked me if I liked greasy food because it was a little greasy. I said I didn’t like greasy food and she said “no problem, we will make it not greasy”. It was cooked perfect and so delicious. My son had the wet California burrito with green sauce and he loved it! I’ll be sure to stop in the next time I travel through the High Sierras.

I cone here multiple times on any given Mammoth trip, so like every weekend lol. Their food is naughty-delicious, made with all the stuff not good for you but oh so damn tasty. There is no going back once you devour your plate; the count-down is on and immediate before you knock-out to undisturbable Zzzzz's. Do not eat here if you plan to drive back to LA right after. Undoable. Que Sabor, mis Friendos🫠

We order the special of 3 tacos. The tacos de asada, pastor y cabeza were good, but tripa was excelent. The chips and salsa are a plus. Also, the Cali burrito was really good

I don't usually seek out burritos in mountain towns but this place came highly recommended for breakfast burritos from a friend. Did not disappoint with the chorizo. Also the coffee has a nice surprise if you like cinnamon. To top it off the staff is friendly and very helpful, hard to find these days.

When we walked in the staff made us feel at home. The staff was so cool and funny. The food was really good. Definitely recommend.
