We had site 108 which was right by the creek and it was amazing. The camp managers near us were very cool people, we would go back there again for sure.

During a recent motorcycle camping and fishing trip to Rock Creek Lake, I discovered the East Fork Campground - what a perfect gem! Camp hosts Dennis & Terri were great! The campsites are far enough away from each other that you can enjoy peace and solitude, all while listening to the running water from the adjacent Rock Creek. The campsites are kept clean and the bathrooms are exceptional! I will definitely be back!

This campground is great. Very well kept. Many of the sites are a little odd as they can have multiple elevations and be a bit uneven. Overall, we've always made it work. It's worth it, beautiful area.

Arrived on a Friday morning at around 10am and found an amazing spot at site #86. The site was right along the rushing creek and had a nice flat spot for my large tent and the perfect amount of tress for shade and hammock setup. It felt very private even within a very busy campground. The restrooms were unbelievably clean and easily accessible.
Falling asleep to the sound of the creek was amazing but it does get a bit cold next to the water at night and being at 9K ft, the temp really drops. The fact that you can burn firewood in the summer was a pleasant surprise and just a few miles up rock creek road, you have access to the trailhead of one of the most spectacular hikes in the Sierras known as Little Lakes Valley. I can't wait to go back with some friends and family and show them this place

We loved camping at East Fork! The camp managers were friendly, and they are posted throughout the campgrounds for everyone's convenience. Our closest camp manager, Jeff Cleveland, was most helpful. He even let us charge our phones when our charger failed to last the weekend. He gave us lots of tips on hiking and fishing in the area. Beautiful, well kept grounds with the creek running right behind a good number of sites. We were able to get a great spot without reservations, on Labor day weekend. They can accommodate Rvs and tents, as the sites vary in size. Bathrooms were very clean, with flushing toilets. Great place to pull off the 395 for camping, fishing, and hiking. Small resort up the road with great lunch. Overall great campgrounds, highly recommended.

This campground is lovely. We were lucky to have come across a site that *wasn't* reserved. We were literally between two different bathrooms. Each had their downpoints. I'm handi-capible and had to either walk up and around a couple of other sites *or* had to walk down, then up again, a steep road. Our site was shady most of the day and our tent was well hidden. Many of the sites have little to no coverage. Where we put our tent was at a slope and I ended up sliding down to the bottom of the tent each night. We did have at least two kinds of squirrel and one chipmunk visit and there was a resident swallowtail butterfly who flew through all day!

Excellent campground in an isolated section of the forest. Each campsite offers adequate space and is close to a bathroom. The nearby river is a calming background soundtrack to the beautiful scenery. The campground has ample campsites, a knowledgeable and friendly camp host, and is conveniently located near several lakes. Highly recommend, especially for people wishing to be away from the crowds at other campsites.

Incredibly secluded campground with the "Off the grid" feel! The creek is the gem, the private grassy areas along the creek were a pleasant surprise, and last, being surrounded by mountains is the crown jewel. The campground sites vary from small and virtually hidden, to spacious with the creek being within dipping toes reach. Shade is abundant, sporadically. The restrooms are within 40 feet of every site, and very well maintained. Rock Creek lake is within a mile or so and stunning. Fish and Wildlife restocked the creek right in front of our campsite (bonus)! We stayed in site 126, not a site I would choose again, for lack of shade. However, site 126 was within feet of an amazing creek side secluded grass field.
Sites 110 through 123 on the creek side are the prime spots!

Very nice place, mostly thanks to our friend Santos, the campground host who welcomed us, helped us a lot to settle down, and took time to share a nice moment with us, our first US campground experience was a very nice one! The following campground experiences were also good, but we’ll keep the memory of this great encounter.

Greatly enjoyed our stay. Very quiet camping with awesome camp hosts. Many of the sights can be rather exposed so make sure you have some sort of sum protection such as a tarp. Some do the sights are also small and not suitable for large groups.

Camp host Dennis provided a clear understanding of the first come first serve system while we were looking for a favorable site following a night in an unfavorable reservation-only site. The campground infrastructure is in great condition, and the road is suitable for most vehicles. As someone who commonly camps for free amid the surrounding USFS and BLM land, I say that the campground fees here are worthwhile. It's a great spot to start a weekend hiking and fishing with family in the Little Lakes Valley.

Beautiful campground next to the creek. Camp host are nice. Restrooms are clean, lots of trash and recycling around the area. Bear country.
Please DO NOT WASH YOUR DISHES IN THE CAMP FAUCET. It will cause pollution. Read the sign attached to the faucet. Help preserve our beautiful campgrounds.

Super nice campground with large, private campsites and heated bathrooms. A creek runs through the property which is great at night for drowning out noise from other camps and just generally is good for sleep. Parking is limited and some of not most of the sites are a bit hilly. Still, for commercial camping this is about as nice as they come.

This campsite was an accident and we are glad we stayed. It’s a really large camp area and they have spaces for tents to large RV’s. I would caution that large RV’s spots are far and few. We have a travel trailer and she fit just fine. We were there in early October before they closed and it was soooo perfect, so quiet but also 9° at night. Yes you read right. The night time temps can be very harsh, so be prepared if you’re not camping in Summer. There are wide open sun spots and also tree shaded ones. The camp host Mike was so friendly and very communicative. There was a lot we missed at this camp as we were only there one night, but the meadows, streams and trails through the park were great. This is also close to Mosquito Flats area, very easy to get to from here. Bathroom were super clean. They have flushing toilets and running water in the sinks. There is also water stations throughout the camp. Very clean water! I highly recommend this campground! This is also a no cell service area, a total dead zone.

Great place, was a packed weekend and got lucky with a few spots left. Had a campsite next to the creek that was flowing through. Bathrooms were maintained pretty regularly and the campgrounds manager was very pleasant.

Beautiful campground, well maintained, just be aware if you have a RV or trailer, leveling can be difficult. Very pretty creek runs through the camp, and Rock Creek Lake is only three miles away.

This is the kind of review that you want to give it a one star so no one else will come here so you can have the place to yourself. But I’m not gonna do that because I like you too much.
My son and I came here and spent a couple nights. I’m not gonna tell you our site number because I did really like it. The campground has a really good facility. I would say that it’s cleaner than some of the places that I’ve been to. It’s obviously conveniently located on rock Creek and you can’t beat that.
What I noticed immediately driving in is that a lot of the sites near the street or the road, seem to be really small. I’m glad we didn’t stay in one of those. The restrooms were super clean. The road was well-maintained. And the campus was very friendly.
Being on rock Creek is a huge bonus. You could go fishing, waiting in the water, or beautiful walking. This really is an epic campground.
