Vail Transportation Center

Lots of activity, first class facilities and amenities, lots of happy people. A wonderful place.

As you might expect, first class. Easy free local buses to take you to East and West Vail, the Nordic Center/Country Club and several other locations. Also inexpensive Eagle County service to Beaver Creek, Breckinridge, Eagle County Airport and numerous other stops. (NOTE: You must have exact change! Unless you regularly use these busses and can reuse the "change card" they print out.) A digital time board would be a nice addition, but Google Maps gives accurate time tables and during normal hours there is someone in the office. Finally the Vail museum under the station is a great little stop if you have time to fill waiting for your bus.

Keep in mind, not all busses go through the depot, we missed a couple in town busses not knowing they ran on a parallel road down the stairs. No biggie.

This where you get a bus. There is also parking for vehicles. There are nice restrooms and an awesome burrito/taco restaurant.

Very good place for everything you will get. All buses, are available from Vail Transportation Center. Restaurants are also there if you need any food.

Only had recycling and cigarette bins but no trash? Glad they had dog poo bags!

Bring your savings, this place will break you faster than a casino.

I never left the bus but from the outside it looked clean and well kept.

Very busy area with lots of resort skiers enjoying the beautiful day and it’s not even spring break yet!!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Even has Mexican food with a bar and an arcade for the kidos

So who rates a bus station!? But this is a key facility to support locals and visitors enabling them to ski, work and return to their home for the night. Always on time, friendly and helpful drivers plus its free. Better than driving your car into Vail and getting ripped off with high parking costs. My go to everytime.

Landed here at 16 years old on a Greyhound bus, and when we pulled up, I saw a moose in the parking area. As I was running away from home in south Louisiana I couldn't believe my eyes, decided to stay and call Vail Colorado my home. 21 years later I still Love it here.
Has a vending machine inside and is warm 24hrs if you're ever stranded.

Great place to sleep overnight. In an emergency type situation or you cannot afford a costly Vail Valley hotel room. The ``VAIL POLICE DEPARTMENT`` usually.. will stop🛑by @ 2:00 A.M. Just to check ✓ Your Identification & Passports🧏🏻‍♂ So.. Do.. NOT... Have any outstanding warrants or be wanted by the Law
