Mammoth Coffee Roasting, Co. (home of Ursa Restaurant)

Great little coffee place serving a variety of drinks and breakfast food. The drinks are great, and so is the service. The only thing they can improve is the food (my veggie breakfast burrito was plain and the avocado toast came drenched in balsamic glaze). But the staff are very friendly, helpful and going out of their way to make customers feel welcome and well served. Bonus points for opening up earlier than any other coffee places around (we went there at 7:30am).

This coffee shop is right across the street from the Airbnb we stayed. The location is great, and there are pretty amounts of people there in the morning. The coffee is delicious here. And their space is nice and wide, with comfortable chairs and big tables and small side tables. We feel very cozy and warm here to sip a cup of coffee to start our day.

Haven’t been to Mammoth in a couple years so this was a new stop for us. It was super busy when we got there as it was Sunday around 10am so everyone likely checking out of their weekend stays.

This cute coffee shop had lots of indoor seating and the staff were all very friendly. So many options for coffee, breakfast and delicious pastries. I had a hard time picking just one. I settled on the cinnamon crumb cake for me and a couple donuts for the kiddos. Wow! The crumb cake was very moist and flavorful and of course messy with crumbs everywhere. It’s the crumbs that you want to scoop up from your napkin and put back in your mouth. Donuts were absolutely fresh, soft and hit my sweet tooth just right.

I can see why this place was busy but worth the wait.

Love good coffee then this is the place. We had breakfast there one day and the coffee was so good that even when having breakfast at other places would come here for coffee. The owner is super nice as well, and helps guide you in the area. Would strongly recommend. Tried Americano, caffe late, caffe mocha and all were amazing.

Our experience was so pleasant! Could not be happier with the service - breakfast burritos & coffee were delicious. The experience was elevated by Steve who offered us end of the day donuts and great conversation. We will definitely be returning during our next trip to Mammoth!

This coffee shop came highly recommended from a good friend. I stopped in and had an iced coffee and a Snickers donut. The owners Steve and Tracey were wonderful. I also bought a hat for wifey . Highly recommended when in Mammoth.

We came in recently to do a very large order of coffees, and the team were amazing. We were so appreciative of the kindness and the efficiencies. Highly recommend and will definately be back next time we’re in Mammoth Lakes!!!

My search is complete! The best maple bar I've ever had is at this spot. Baked fresh daily, eaten by the owner for breakfast, fatter than a Christmas ham, this donut will please at every step of the bite. The almost crust like bottom surprises you as the maple melts in your mouth.

10/10 recommend!! I was looking for a coffee shop to do a bit of work after snowboarding and came across this super cute place!

The food was great! I got the avo toast and breakfast sandwich, a london fog and red velvet donuts.

The service was impeccable and everyone who worked there was so so sweet!! They even allowed me to bring my pup inside while I did some work and a call.

The shop is kind of snowed in right now, so it’s a little difficult to find. Buuuut if you keep walking the sidewalk, it’s to your left!

I will definitely come back the next time I’m in mammoth!!

Loved the warm welcoming and friendly customer service and enjoyed their unique selection of donuts. The gentleman who appears to be the owner and baker was exceptionally down to earth unlike some hostile caucasian business owners we ran into. Made up our time in Mammoth. Thank you. :)

Absolutely wonderful. Coffee in Mammoth is a high bar and Mammoth Coffee crushed it. My Latte was awesome and the maple bar was the bomb. They make their donuts fresh every morning and YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO TRY ONE. I go to Sidecar donuts in LA/Costa Mesa and these are right up there. Wow! The owner met me when I walked in and gave me the history and the causes they support (3% of sales going to them)! As an avid espresso and coffee fan, they exceeded my expectations.

This shop is relatively new compared to all other businesses around but when i tell you it's here to stay; it's here to stay. The beans are delicious, the drinks are made well and the people are great to chat with. The owner has been there every time I go, and he's always happy to chat about coffee, watches, and metal work. Heck of a guy and an even better coffee shop! Thanks for coming to Mammoth!!!

Great coffee and service… we went a few times and every time the staff was friendly and efficient.

Amazing breakfast and super fast. Bacon egg and cheese on a playing bagel is very good and espresso coffee rich with aroma. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and people.
