Windjammer Surf Bar

Came to visit from Kansas. Was blown away by the food, service, atmosphere, view, merchandise, and especially the owners! Plus Miss Stoli the English Bulldog was an extra bonus! Such a great place— can’t wait to visit again!!

Great place to have dinner by the ocean. Our waitress was awesome. She served our party of 12 and did a great job 👏 She even offered and took a picture of us all with the ocean in the background. Really good food. Everyone was happy 😊 This year was our second year eating dinner here. Our group will make reservations here next year when we come back to Misquamicut.

Sat outside in an igloo, our server initially told us the veggie burger was not available, and took our order. He came back right away, told us he checked, and the veggie burger just came in today. We changed our order and got the delicious veggie burger. Really appreciate the extra effort!

Worth it for view. Large inner space for standing around bar. A few inside tables. Large area for band to play. Bouncer at door pre checks age. Outside sand pit dining overlooking beach. And the patio dining overlooking beach. Food was very good all kinds of choices. Get there before 6:00 for choice of seats. Ok for kids and young teens before 8:00. At 7:30 starts getting packed with lots of drinking. By 9:00 21 and over bar. Parking was easy either at facility or across street. But later at night it will be harder to find parking. Over all food was very good and price was very good. Drinks were expensive and light on alcohol so a heads up. Ice cream window outside near sand pit all same restaurant. I would go back. Seriously be careful on Diablo burger.

Awesome staff and great atmosphere!! They are Dog friendly and even have a dog menu!! They give each puppy their own little water bucket! The food is absolutely amazing and priced reasonably. Great views from the deck too!!

an amazing crew works here with attentive servers and amazing chefs, great management rounds out the trifecta, what a great time with great views! I'll definitely be back here!

Great views, the food was good and so was the service. I found it reasonably priced for a bar by the water on Rhode Island to be honest.

Excellent! Drinks are reasonably priced (at least not outrageously expensive anyway) and the servers/bartenders were all fast and polite. Half the building can be rented out as event space with a cash bar, the back porch is RIGHT on the beach near the water, and there's three separate bars (including the bar inside the event space area). Great atmosphere and food!

This was my first visit, and it was such a vibe. The staff was welcoming and super friendly and helpful. The beach and restaurant and restrooms were clean. The food was great. They had live music 🎶 I mean, what else can you ask for? I'm definitely visiting again soon, my new favorite beach .

I always have been to Windjammers many times in the past it is one of my favorite beach restaurants. Today was phenomenal. The hostess Cassie went out of her way to accommodate us. We had beautiful ocean seating. Then it gets better our waitress was wonderful she was top notch. For service was great and drinks were on point. The view was spectacular.

The food was good. I really liked the fish & chips! Large portion, very crispy, good fries & tartar sauce. Other guests in our party had the chicken street tacos & loaded nachos with beef. All delicious. Would definitely go again.

Awesome location, delicious food. Lobster roll and fish and chips were great. Love the view. Got the wings and tacos next visit- wings were tasty but tacos were terrible- very mushy!

Was a great sunny day in late October. The food was great and staff was friendly. Ordered off the brunch menu, had eggs benedict and husband had breakfast burger.

This place is simply a phenomenal outdoor dining/bar experience. We went today and the music DJ/entertainment was hilarious and played an excellent mix of music. The waitress was excellent and she made sure we were taken care of. The drinks and food were extremely fast and wow was it good. We will be back!

We sat on the deck outside, the place was packed.
The lobster roll was awesome, and clam chowder needed no crackers, salt or pepper..delish.
Would definitely return.

I've been going to the windjammer since I was 2 that was 56yrs ago. The food, service and people I look forward to every yr. I come up from Kentucky now, that's how good it is.

I recommend the #RhodeIsland #Calamari ... It is top notch. And the chowder is good as well.

You can never go wrong anytime of the year at the Windjammer! Staff, food and view are #1.
