Crowley Lake General Store

Cozy general store! I enjoyed the visit here. I was travelling from San Diego to Lake Tahoe and stopped by at this general store for restroom time and grabbed pizza and drink before continuing my journey to lake tahoe! Friendly people!

First time staying at the nearby Rv park. This store has just about everything you need for fishing, rv’ing, bbq. Well stocked and clean. One of the best part of this place is the deli/pizza parlor. Great ready made sandwiches or made to order. Desserts and salads are there also. The pasta salad was very good. The pizza is great and made to order. Everything is made fresh daily and it shows. They also have shell gas and propane also. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This place is less than a mile off 395 and is worth taking the off ramp to stopping by.

This little hole in the wall store has the best chili and cornbread. Fresh pizza, sandwiches, cookies and anything else. Staff is friendly and helpful. Did I say the chili is awesome.

A safe and scenic pitstop for travelers. Gas, good, stretch break, propane, and friendly neighbor vibe.

All shoppers, get the fresh sourdough bread! Soft on the outside, tender on the inside. The bread remained soft for three days. We used the bread for garlic bread, grilled cheese, and olive oil dipping. The taste is inviting and did not have a strong sourdough flavor like pre-packaged sourdough. I appreciated this bread 🍞 was easy to chew and swallow with ease.

Great place to grab some snacks and a burrito before hitting the lake.

Great locally owned gas station and general store. They have a little kitchen the pumps out breakfast and pizza for lunch as well as making great meatball subs and other sandwiches. Also great for getting ready to go out fishing. Special little place.

Great food. Fresh breakfast every morning to go. Tables outside to eat. Bakery is a gem. Good coffee. Other side of the store is all the essentials needed for fishing, water fun, traveling and some tourist stuff. Also some local art there. Staff is kind and knowledgeable about the area.

A definite highlight of our annual trip to Owen's River Gorge! A preference is to avoid going down into Bishop so we appreciate if we can get everything we need here! They have created such a cute place and they put so much of themselves into it; definitely this passion shines through in the food they make and the excellent customer service they provide. It shows that the people there really enjoy what they do, because they seem to always have a smile. We look forward to it and purposefully get gas there every chance we get, because we don't buy a lot else. A cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll or piece of pizza is a treat to savor! Thanks for what you do~ :-)

This store off the beaten path is a wonderful place to visit. They gas, great food hot food and deli, and collectibles. The people that work there are always friendly including the owners, who are also there to greet you in the store. A wonderful stop whether your just driving through or live near by.

After 8 years the pizza is still just as good. Very awesome you guys kept the quality all of these years. Thank you for the perfect ending to my backpacking trip! Needed the wonderful vibes Crowley has after the all the city people in mammoth.

The store is well-stocked, clean, and has a small deli. The breakfast burritos and sandwiches are made fresh in the am and ready to purchase or made to order. They also have fresh baked banana bread and cookies. The store also has a nice selection of caps and shirts.

Stopped in on the way back from the LA area. Purchased freshly made hot sandwiches and pizza- well, excellent portions, sourdough bread was to die for, which led to a generously sized lemon tart and cheesy pesto baguette of locally made bread which were devoured later on at home (to.die.for.). Everyone was down to Earth and friendly and the prices were reasonable. 10 out of 10. Great roadtrip surprise find in a beautiful and scenic area.

The best a tiny town like ours can ask for. Fresh baked goods every morning, delicious pizza, a fantastic selection of craft beers and wines, candy for all the kids, and outdoor seating to enjoy everything while you’re there or fuel stations to grab and go.

My tip: get some pizza. It’s fantastic.

Wonderful place to feel a touch of home while traveling. Friendly and warm. I got a beautiful soy latte, kale salad, and they happily made me a custom veggie sandwich on home baked bread. Cozy, like you're sitting in a neighbors kitchen. So grateful 💖

Awesome spot for Early morning breakfast 6am!! (Most places open at 8am) highly recommend the freshly Baked Muffin they make Soo good!!! 👌🏽 and ready to go breakfast burritos!

They Have everything you need for long day on the Lake! Kitchen Full menu will need to come by and try Lunch.

Traveling from Tahoe back home to Ventura County this week with our grandkids, we needed gas and a restroom. Hard to find an available restroom during the lockdown. We took a chance and headed off the highway to the Shell station at Google’s instruction. What a surprise when we found Crowley Lake General Store! Gas and a clean restroom, but so much more. What a gem! Old-fashioned hospitality! Everyone was so nice and helpful, the fresh, homemade food was amazing, and the cute play yard/picnic area in the back was delightful. Loved the mermaid mural and flowers around the shade tree. So welcoming! You can tell someone really cares about the place and takes pride in doing a great job. It was serendipity and we loved it. We’ll definitely stop by again and recommend others stop there as well. Thanks so much for the positive experience.
