Gardunos Mexican Food

We came on a Monday night and luckily for us, the place was quiet. I say luckily cause it gave us a chance to speak with our waitress who seems to be one of the owners. The other owner is her husband, aka the chef!
A small unassuming place that appears to have been a home at some point, Garduno’s has a rather big menu. You can find anything from tacos to enchiladas, burritos, tortas, huarachas, and more.
We had the chipotle enchiladas, I ordered two chicken and 1 cheese. Get ready: not only delicious but spicy! You may want to eat them with the red rice that the dish comes with. The enchiladas were topped with I want to say was crema. It wasn’t sour cream but it had a slight bitter taste to it, just like fresh crema.
We also had the quesadilla Birria which came with a chile de árbol salsa that was also spicy. My hubby says that they were delicious and that the only thing that would’ve made them better was if the dish had also included the consome that comes when you make birria.
For drinks we had a margarita that had a spicy kick and had tajin. A what? Tajin is a tangy Mexican seasoning that has a citrus flavor to it and can be spicy.
We also had horchata which was made in the premises by them. They actually soaked the white rice in water and flavored it with cinnamon and blended everything in house. The horchata was refreshing and it came in an XL sized cup!
We will definitely be back next time we are in town!!

The food was excellent! The staff was great and the prices reasonable.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The queso sauce on the burritos was smooth and creamy. Pico de gallo and guacamole were both tasty additions to the burritos which were Asada. The appetizer was queso fundido, brought out in a sizzling cast-iron skillet with chips. We will get the tortillas next time though both work fine with the fish.

This is a new go-to place for us and if you're in Eagle Colorado stop by. You will not be disappointed.

We love this place off the beaten path in Eagle. Great options for kids, the food has always been really good, and inside or outside the place has great vibes.

Great food. Service was relaxed. Very relaxed environment sitting outside. The neighbor's rooster came over while we were there. Pretty cool. Definitely will go back.

Super sweet Mom n Pop Mexican joint around the corner from Broadway. Torta Cubano was off the hook! They have Huaraches, and Pupusas! Cool murals on the walls too +1

I've had street tacos all over the country and in Mexico. Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Denver all have great street tacos for the US, and these here in Eagle are definitely top-notch contenders compared to others that I have had. Their salsa verde is especially delicious!

Inside or out, a lovely environment. The beautiful patio is great for a large group and noisy kids. They serve great appetizers. I highly recommend the guacamole and flautas. Enchilada plates are delicious and tacos are the best, street taco style, best in the valley. Margaritas are great. Restaurant is family owned and run, super friendly. I love this place.

We found Gardunos after a hike in Glenwood Canyon and I am so glad we stopped. My kiddo and I ordered Tortas with a side of French fries. The options for Aguas frescas were Jamaica y Horchata. I always ask if these are made from scractch/humedades VS the machine or Powder mix stuff other restaurante offer. I can confirm Gardunos aguas frescas son caseras. They also have Café De Olla. Which if you haven't tried before do your self a favor and try some café de olla. We sat out on the patio and the area was clean with great light and the music was on point! The gal that was helping us out was very sweet and kind. The food came out to our table very quickly! Overall a great visit for our group. We live in Denver but will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips around the area or for road trips on i-70

Gardunos has a great, comfortable patio for the summer months. The food is good and the service is great.

If you want authentic Mexican food, you NEED to come here. Tacos are only $1 on Taco Tuesdays (only chicken, al pastor and carnitas tacos).

Great food and amazing service! The ambience and patio are relaxing and very comfortable! We took our entire 10 year old soccer team with 12 families including siblings, for lunch between games. They let us have the patio and treated us like family! They even treated us all to desserts.

This was such a surprise gem! We are big Mexican food lovers, and I got the enchiladas with Christmas sauce and they were fantastic. My fiancé got the tacos Al carbon and they were truly the best tacos we’ve ever had. Their margaritas were really solid as well, would definitely recommend if you’re in the Eagle area.

What a cool authentic Mexican restaurant with a huge outdoor seating under beautiful trees with two water falls. This place is the bomb great food, great service and great ambiance.

This place is awesome! It’s real amazing authentic Mexican food you don’t see around.
Margaritas are delicious, and they are not shy on tequila! Kids loved chorizo tacos the best and my fave was the 3 amigos!
Can’t wait to try more stuff next week.

Burritos were outstanding - amazing flavor and would try smothered next time. The salsas are very spicy with excellent flavor, we tried the red and orange, red seemed hottest, and would love to try the Verde next. Steak and carnitas were tender and juicy, so good! Recommend grabbing and taking to Bonfire down the street!

They have the best margaritas I've ever had and are generous with their sizing. I had their Pollo en mole which was amazing. Get it! You won't regret it! Their staff was very friendly and added to the friendly and fun atmosphere.
