Main Street Taphouse

Had their blue cheese and mushroom burger cooked to perfection with onion rings. Served by the owner with a side of Buffalo ranch and said "this is good for dunking."

Cause we brought our dog with us during visiting so we looked for the pet friendly restaurant in the town. And this great place popped up. They have big patio area. And it’s simply nice to have the beer and food with breeze in the summer. The waitress was super sweet. The beer selection is awesome. You can have different types of beers from over the state. And the food is perfectly good. Just wish the Reuben sandwich is bigger… we definitely will come back if we visit Placerville again.

Stopped in for dinner. The place was busy but not super busy. Cleanliness was definitely noticed and makes me feel at ease.

We were quickly seated and waited upon by a very local and friendly server named Geof. He was knowledgeable and excellent at keeping up with all his tables.

We ordered the Dirty Garlic Shrimp Fries, Fish N Chips, and some fried shrimp. The food was extremely tasty. The DGSF were to die for; so much flavor it was ridiculous (in a good way). The fish n chips fresh and not overly fishy. The fried shrimp was perfection and Geof made a cocktail sauce for us!

Highly, highly recommend this restaurant. Great service, atmosphere, and food. Very quality place!

Power out, so headed to Main Street Taphouse for dinner.
Started out with an appetizer of wings.
They were delicious.
French Dip w/ff and BBQ Burger w/ff as our main course. Service was outstanding. Anticipated our every need.
Everything served hot, tasty, and in a timely manner. (They were very busy)

Great bar and restaurant in Placerville! Huge beer assortment and large variety of foods for every pallette. We ordered the Veggie Tacos which we asked to be modified to a Veggie Burrito, which was enormous, with quite an assortment of veggies and vegan cheeze. Terrific place for couples or groups. We always stop here and are never disappointed. Highly recommended!

Local and delicious with the best service around! We had and awesome cheese dip to start with and well dressed Cesar salad.
Followed up with flatbread and tie trio sandwich. The later had great meats but slightly boring otherwise, no toppings.

Beers were great and they even had alcohol free.

My party of 6 tried Main Street Taphouse to celebrate a birthday! We had a Great Time! The service was excellent! The menu had too many great choices!!!! We ordered several beers on tap, appetizers of guacamole n chips, wings, jalapeño cheese dip, and entrees! Chicken & pasta, salmon, fish n chips, bbq burger, Lobster ravioli, child's mac n cheese & cheeseburger. Everything was excellent!!! We're already planning our next visit!!!

Great spot, their new brunch menu is superb. I had the country Benedict and it was incredible. Best gravy I’ve had in ages. Their cocktails are spot on, the pash smash is always a favorite.

Great place to stop when traveling through Placerville. Friendly staff, good food, a full bar and a large selection of beer. Plenty of menu options for everyone. Ample parking

The best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Thick, but crispy with the perfect amount of salt. I hate steak fries but I would 100% drive 2.5 hours just to have these again.

Tried: BLTA with fries, BJO Burger with sweet potato fries

Cons: it’s far from me 🤷🏻‍♀ and I didn’t try the tacos 🌮

Made a reservation for a party of 15 for Sunday @11am. Manager was Melissa was very accommodating. Appreciated the service, food and dedication to ensure we were taken care of. We will be back for Brunch!

Support local businesses! Great place for a variety of meals and even larger selection of craft beer. Other cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks available. Plenty of seating inside and out. We just had a wonderful meal of nachos and cocktails, but you'd be mistaken if you thought that was ever basic. The bartender made us an unofficial espresso martini since they were out of most of the ingredients. It came out GREAT and really showed her creativity. Thank you! The Chili Verde nachos were so good we had to sit and think for a minute how they got the meat so tender. It was loaded with toppings and the perfect sharing for two....we scraped the plate. Though we aren't locals, this will become a regular stop. ❤ Thank you for the lovely meal and great service!

For going to a tap house and sitting at the bar to eat a burger and a club while having a beer, it was very good!! They even switched bartenders when we were eating and usually there is some issue. It was seamless.

While n Placerville we stopped n Main St Tap House for a'lil bite, they were very receptive n even hada special dawg friendly gate 2 there dawg friendly patio!!! They were pretty busy n the service was justa a'lil slow but still great as we were n no hurry at all. The food was above par n very fresh n hot when it came n our waitress was Aw'sum'ness! Several employees came out 2 say hello 2 our German Shepherd (she is the lucky 1). We will definitely recommend n return 2 this establishment.

It is always a nice place to spend time with friends, drinking beers on tap and enjoying a good sandwich.

This is a great new restaurant in historic downtown Placerville. They have extremely friendly and helpful wait staff. All of our food was excellent and there seems to be something on the menu for everyone. They have a great list of craft beers, craft cocktails, wine and other spirits. This is a great place for groups and others seeking a meal and some refreshments.

Great little place that occupies what we knew as Carrows for quite some time now. The food was great, and had many tasty options, we ordered the country eggs bene, fish & chips, and the ahi sandwich. All were exquisite & the service was too. I'd definitely go back here again.
