Food was great, surprised how much I enjoyed the chicken cibatta, server Alex was super, anticipated everything we needed and gave great recommendations. We will be back!

Update 11/26/23: chicken cibatta for the win AGAIN-- get the fresh cut potato chips! 😋

Only been there a few times, but the food is always very good. Everything seems to be homemade. The hot roast beef sandwich reminded me of Red Wells!

Was busy and I can see why! The staff was friendly, the service was timely, and the pizza was AWESOME! Highly recommend.

It took almost 10 mins for someone to clean off a table and the host stand said seat yourself . The food was good

Vegetarians please get the Veggie Ciabatta with a side of Mac and Cheese. That will fill you right up. Hummus and Caesar chunks (substitute cauliflower) are also amazing options.

Local bar with dog-friendly outdoor patio. Servers were great. We got appetizers and drinks for the humans. Potato skins were loaded with bacon. Chicken strips were pounded thin but tasted great. Great experience. I would happily go back when we're in the area.

They were busy yet got us seated in no time. Very good service! Everyone loved the foot.

We took our German Shepherd with us and they were very accommodating. Our server brought out a bowl of water for our dog right from the start. The service was fantastic, which was very appreciated after a long day on the river. The food was great, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this place.

Why didn't I know about this place? Stopped in for lunch. Friendly fast service. The place was clean. The food was hot and very tasty. Comfortable atmosphere, kid friendly. Will definitely revisit and would recommend.

Great service, great atmosphere, great place. Food was fast, hot, and delicious. Great potion for price. The staff where friend and attentive to all patrons. Would return and try some other dishes in the future.

The food was great. The service was almost perfect. The problem was that I was about to be over-charged. Not a big deal. I told the server about it and he said that he left the charge on because otherwise he would have charged me even more. After such treatment, I don't even want an apology because I don't know that I can trust it. I ask for nothing, except that you would make sure others customers are treated better.

Reply to response from owner: I got a premium instead of a potato add bacon and cheese. The former costs less than the latter according to the prices on the menu and the receipt. The only way I wasn't lied to is if it is your normal business practice to make someone pay full price for a premium side even if they are replacing a regular side that is already included in the price of the main dish. I give y'all the benefit of the doubt that you guys have the ability to make it an upcharge or that you are forward about not substituting sides. I'll change it to a 5 instead of a 1. I really don't want the way I was treated to hurt your business. I just wanted to bring it to your attention.

A gathering place for locals, yet welcoming to out of towner. Delicious food and cold beer!

My main place to visit with family when I come back home. But for the Ohio State fans, it's an awesome place to be.

Our waitress was very pleasant despite her sharing that the night before had been one of the most hectic in her recent memory.

The food and drinks that we ordered arrived promptly and she was attentive the entire time.

It's always a pleasure to dine at Shawn's when my wife and I are able to meet up in Waterville over lunch!

Very nice, family friendly, hometown kind of place. Nice amount of menu options, no complaints from my family. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I would recommend it.

I tried a new menu item, the pork chop with apple bacon jam, mashed potatoes and a hot cider with screwball toddy. Liz was awesome! Actually the whole team of bar tenders were attentive and seemed to have a great working relationship, having fun and keeping everyone happy. We will definitely be returning! Wasn't too busy when we arrived, around 5ish but when we were leaving it was packed! All of the food looked really good that was getting delivered to tables. Great atmosphere and service!
